About the author

Sarah writes dark, contemporary, erotic and paranormal romances. They adore all forms of steamy romance and can always be found with a book or ten on their Kindle. They love anti-heroes, alpha males and flawed characters with a little bit of darkness lurking within. Their writing buddies nicknamed Sarah: 'The Queen of Steam' for their pulse racing sex scenes which will leave you a little hot under the collar.

Born and raised in Sussex, UK near the Ashdown Forest, they grew up climbing trees and building Lego towns with their younger brother. Sarah fell in love with novels as a teenager reading their aunt's historical regency romances. They have always loved the supernatural and exploring the darker side of romance and fantasy novels.

Sarah currently resides in the Scottish Highlands with their husband. Music is one of their biggest inspirations and they always have something on in the background whilst writing. They are an avid gamer and are often found hogging their husband's Xbox.

Well this was a fun and spicy short read! I need more!! We don’t have many sapphic wolf shifter books.

Chase was a fun, short bop of a book. At just over 20 pages I was wondering what kind of punch it could pack, but Sarah Bailey has done it again. The reader is thrown into the world headfirst, but Sarah Bailey gave us everything we needed for the story without weighing it down with random details.
The book was written heavily in the past tense, which was strange at first, but easy to get used to, especially when the writing itself sucks you in so quickly.
Overall, this book was a fun divergence from Sarah’s usual books, while keeping that good dark paranormal theme to it. I hope that they continue to write more sapphic stories in the future.

I absolutely devoured this erotic short by Sarah who always delivers the best 🌶️ and perfect writing. They had my heart thumping from the first few sentences up until the very end! I absolutely loved it! I love a little primal play and love that we see it across Sarah's work and this was ALL PRIMAL! 🥵

The chase, the suspense of the unknown & what to expect is what reeled me in. There was just instant ownership from beginning to end, and those last few words had me screaminggggg, I can’t wait for more of these stories!

Also Sarah, the fact that this was your first sapphic story has me in disbelief because you sure know how to reel a girl in🙂‍↔️🫠

Chase is a as thrilling and exciting as its title. Short, erotic and heart racing.
Having read Sarah Bailey’s earlier paranormal works, it was an immediate grab for me when I heard this wasn’t just a tasty short but also a sapphic one. Sapphic being a first for this author, I was not let down as I tumbled down the rabbit hole back into the otherworldly that had me leaping from one page to the next.
Like all of their previous books, the chemistry and intensity between the MCs remain rich, raw and passionate. In classic Sarah style, the ending is both satisfying and perfect for any reader who is no stranger to the shifter realm. A definite recommendation for any reader after a steamy sapphic short to tantalise the senses.
Looking forward to future shorts from Sarah as I’ve always been a huge fan of their stories <3 Rating 5 chillies for EXTRA SPICY.

3 stars. Well written and atmospheric but definitely felt like something I’ve read before. Wasn’t bad but the promise of this being dark pulled me in and it didn’t really deliver. If you want something quick and smutty though I’d definitely recommend it or if you’re wanting to dip your toe into sapphic stuff but for me it was just okay.

If I could give this 10/5 stars I would! I cannot say enough good things about this. I literally devoured it in one sitting. The perfect sapphic short that jumps right into it and left me wanting to be the FMC.

If you're interested in dipping your toe into a darker steamy paranormal story, this would be a great starting point.
