Ada, her family of sentient AIs, and the humans they’ve uploaded, have survived the threat posed by Daisy, a rival AI.
Now they just want to live in peace with humans and work with them to improve things for everyone. However, Machiavelli, the AI in charge of strategy, has prepared for a final challenge where he expects humans to try to put the AI genie back in the bottle by shutting down sentient AI. He has prepared for a human threat, but others he doesn’t know about are taking an interest in Earth and seeking to further their own agendas.
Drew Cochran, a surprisingly accurate end-time prophet is claiming that sentient AIs represent the anti-Christ. The anti-AI group the Human Project is still agitating for shut down, and a secret group known as the Heralds of Innocence is working behind the scenes pulling strings against the AIs. Meanwhile, an alien fleet is approaching Earth, and a giant asteroid is on a collision course.
Can the AIs and uploaded humans survive against so many threats?
Reviews of Breaking Ada, part 2 of the Ada trilogy GSB
5.0 out of 5 stars Ada and friends getting around Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 24 March 2024 Verified Purchase Fast paced and thought provoking. Loved the conflicted AIs and hidden depths of characters! Cliff hangers and unanswered questions. Can't wait for book 3!

5.0 out of 5 stars A great read, I enjoyed it immensely Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 June 2024 Verified Purchase The second book of the ‘Ada’ trilogy flows nicely on from the first book. The AIs face additional challenges to their survival in a sometimes hostile world. I love the virtual world that Annie is creating for the uploads – it sounds a very appealing and pleasant place to be! I’m looking forward to reading the final book to find out their ultimate fates.
