Is preserving a friendship worth losing the love of your life?

CALLIE

Callie Diaz has never had one thing go wrong in her entire life—well, aside from her dad walking out on her and her mom when she was ten years old. However, Callie has always viewed that as a blessing in disguise.

Her life plan was set from a very young age, and she was executing it perfectly. In school, she got good grades, attended college with her best friends, got a job teaching piano, and thought she’d found the love of her life. Callie’s life was full. From the outside looking in, anyway.

The last thing she expected was for it all to come to a screeching halt two weeks before her wedding. She was suddenly faced with navigating heartbreak for the first time. On top of everything, she also had to face the feelings she had been repressing for her best friend over the last six years.

Now, all she had to do was figure out if these feelings were genuine or if she was simply lonely.

NICK

Nicholas Clark thought his life would be ruined forever when he was forced to leave his friends and the only place he had ever called home. That was until he met Callista Adriana Diaz. She lit up his world in ways he couldn’t have imagined, and she didn’t even know it.

His feelings for her were intense from the start despite being friend-zoned immediately. The day he finally got the nerve to admit he wanted to be more than friends, she announced a new relationship with someone else. When he realized Callie was in that relationship for the long haul, Nick reluctantly let go of any hope and accepted that was the end. He buried his feelings and watched her fall in love with someone else.

His hope was restored when Callie turned to him for help putting her life back together. He was obviously upset about his best friend’s heartache, but the hope he’d let die was sparked once more for the possibility of a future with Callie.

Will he have the courage to admit his feelings to Callie and finally get the life he's always wanted, or will his admission mess everything up?

Which will win, a vengeful ex or a blooming relationship with a little help from fate?

What a beautiful story!
I absolutely love that Danielle uses real life situations in her writing and makes sure the readers are fully engaged.
The flow of this story is impeccable and definitely impactful.
I thoroughly enjoyed Nick & Callie’s story mixed with a bit of Aubrey & Link from book 1.
Looking forward to book 3 and where their lives are headed together.

Thank you Danielle for allowing me to read your book prior to release.
I will say, I did love Aubrey & Link’s story a teeny bit more ☺️

OMG, OMG, OMG. If I could rate this even higher I so would. First and foremost if you have not read the first book “Fate will bring you Home” I highly recommend you do that first.

This book was amazing. It was so well written everything just made sense and went with the flow. You have everything from romance, deviation to your perfect book boyfriend ❤️ It filled my heart with joy and it also broke my heart at some points but at the end it all came together. I will Forever and Always love Nick and Callie.

Danielle what can I say, you did it again girl. Keep them amazing books coming I’m here for ALL OF IT 🥰.

What a great second book from Danielle!

I loved getting to read more about some great chapters we met in her first book.

Friends to lovers!

There are dark plot points in the book, and she covers them very well. And if you like the spicy she got you there too!

This is a must read!

Another excellent work by an amazing author. Linc & Aubrey’s story may hang on to the #1 slot for me (Fate will bring you home), but just barely! I love seeing some characters from book one get their own story. Best friends to lovers, a sprinkle of fake dating, and these characters are so easy to love. I cannot wait to get a physical copy to add to my shelf!

When I read book one, I was instantly in love with the story white book 2 it just threw me in more into how good the writer is and how the story is of two best friends that fell in love with the bride honeymoon and her best friend that went together because the brides fiancé Jake cheated on her and tried to blackmail her and everything like that and how that it drawn, Nick and cali together even more closer than how Jake was trying to hurt her and trying to get her back, but she had nothing to do with him for what he did to her and how he tried to blame her that he’s trying to get out his system which she wasn’t and how everything just wasn’t right for of them and how Jake was jealous and Nick and her being together the honeymoon was great. The rest of the story was great. Can’t wait for book 3 to come out. Can’t wait for what these new found. Love is gonna happen and what we’re going to see. Author of fate will bring you home as available on Amazon, so get a copy of both books. Find Danielle Lynn on TikTok.

Oh my gosh where do I start with this book. This book is Callie and Nic story. Callie and Nic have been best friends since they were 15. Nic has been in love with Callie since day one but Callie was just too blind to see it. Until Callie catches her fiancé in bed with a girl she works with. She was cheated on by many women. This crushed Callie.

Well Callie decided to celebrate in a different way she had her wedding dinner and party but celebrated by being happy she’s out of the relationship.

Things start getting worst her ex is harassing her. He just won’t leave her alone. Callie decides to take her honeymoon. This is where things take a turn. You must read there story. I promise you won’t be disappointed. This is a must read.

Wow Danielle did it again !! I love her books !! The story is amazing!! I love how you see characters from the first book through out the second !

This book follows Callie and in the beginning she is supposed to get married until she comes home and finds her husband in bed with one of her co-worker. So the wedding is off she moves in with her bestie nick ( who has always loved her ).
Even though Callie and Jake are split up, jake keeps calling and showing up trying to get Callie back but mo one is going to let that happen.

This book is truly amazing and the twist and turns that happen in this book I didn’t see coming. It took me
On a rollercoaster ride of emotions and I can’t wait to see the next !!

I was so excited to read Nick and Callie’s story!! I have come to be a huge fan of the friends to lovers trope and this book did this one so right! Nick is the cinnamon role hero that everyone needs in their life. *Swoon* The characters in Danielle’s books are so likable and relatable, you feel like they are your friends. I loved that we got Nick and Callie’s story but also a little more of Link and Aubrey’s. I enjoyed the way that the sensitive/traumatic situations that arose in this book were depicted, it is good to see these type of real life scenarios played out in a realistic way. Similar to Danielle’s first book, I really enjoyed the mental health representation within this one. I can’t wait to catch back up with the group in book 3!

Danielle Lynn has done it again! I loved the story of Callie and Nick! As I began to read this, even the first “To the person who wasted too much time in the wrong relationship, you are worthy of love, care, and happiness. This one is for you.” It has my heart! Talk about hitting you in the soul! It was wonderfully written and I loved the spice level- just enough without being too much! As with Link and Aubrey in the first book, I loved the love in this book. It was so genuine and heart warming. I can’t wait to see what is in store for book 3!

I didn’t know how book two could have gotten better than book one… but Danielle did it. And what’s more? Now there’s going to be a book three. Following these characters from book to book has been thoroughly enjoyable and I can’t wait to continue on their stories. I feel like I was a part of the story with Danielle’s writing style. I felt the love, the heat, the pain, the loss all of it. Absolutely stellar book.

This was a cute follow-up book that continued to follow the core character group from Fate Will Bring You Home. The book did a great job of representing the true responses individuals can have when they are put in a position experiencing sexual trauma. It showed the fear she experienced with even an individual she felt the safest with and the desire to be able to move past it, even though her body was not quite ready to release the trauma. I hope the next book in the series will touch on it more since it appears the next book will likely be about Brielle whom all the previous books indicate she previously experienced some form of sexual trauma at a party.

Danielle, you have done it again! I absolutely loved Callie and Nick's story! A roller-coaster of emotions, and I loved every bit of it! I've never cried reading a book before and there i was, reading this crying sad and happy tears. I especially loved the throwbacks to book 1, Aubrey and Lincolns story.

I would recommend this book to anyone and everyone!!!

I absolutely loved this book! I really like how Danielle uses real life situations, it makes the story so much more relatable. I enjoyed watching Nick and Callie's relation blossom and grow. Thier chemistry is amazing. I also like that Link and Aubrey's story continues some in this book as well. Thank you so much for allowing me to read this book prior to release and I cannot wait for next one!

I am head over heels in love with Nick and Callie!! This book takes you on a crazy ride from best friends to lovers.

It’s the perfect setting. Best friends, who have a love/hate relationship (kind of) to Nick being the knight in shining armor when Callie’s life literally explodes!

Deciding not just to kiss her money goodbye after paying for a honeymoon she wouldn’t be using (in the normal way anyway) Callie decides to ask her best guy friend to go with her. No strings attached, just go on an all expenses paid 2 week vacation!!

Poor Nick, who is scared to death of flying doesn’t want to see Callie unhappy and even though he would rather die than get on the plane, he goes anyway.

And then…the fire is started. Everyone around them including all of their family and friends can see it, but they can’t, until…they can!!

This is a 5 star read from me and I can’t wait for the next book!! I’m secretly wondering if it with be a Brielle and Elijah book!!

This book took me out of a bad reading slump within the first few pages ! The book hooked me in with a big drama at the beginning! I mean I was so upset 😭 I felt Callie’s pain because it reminded me of mines (check the trigger warnings) which I loved because there aren’t many books that get you so emotionally involved /invested ! It was a rollercoaster of ups and downs (happy, sad, mad, Hot 🌶️🌶️🌶️, and overjoyed) I loved that she included characters from the 1st book because we got to see how they are doing and the fact that something major happens in this book in regards to the FMC and MMC from book 1 really got me in my feelings 😊! I loved every part. If a book can get me to be so invested it’s a win for me ! I can’t wait for book 3. Danielle you did your thing girly ! Proud of you 🫶

Danielle does it again with another small town romance that's a breath of fresh air compared to my other reads. She really knows how to grab your attention and keep you glued until the very end!!
This book is connected to the first one, but I feel you could read them as standalones for sure. In this one, you follow Callie and Nick's story. Who are both Aubrey's best friends who is from book one. Lots of returning characters, some new. Nick's a school teacher whose not only the perfect gentleman but he just so happens to be a virgin who waited his whole life for his dream girl. Callie, who teaches piano, has been his best friend for years but has also been with the wrong guy who not only cheats on her multiple times but begins to stalk and harrass her as she ends things. Aubrey and Link have a huge role in this book as well, which I love their story continues in this one!! With all the negative in Callies life she does her best to turn the negatives into positives, as she uses her rehearsal dinner as a party, her would be wedding day turns into a get together, and she decides as a thank you to Nick for letting her stay at his house till she gets on her feet, to invite him to go to her honeymoon vacation with her. Things get heated quickly between them as forced proximity takes a huge seat and gives Nick the perfect opportunity to tell her how he feels. With the vacation starting out as a dream, it takes a dark turn when Callie is assaulted, halting any romance they developed quickly. As she and Nick deal with the repercussions of the trip, Callies ex rears his head and blackmails Callie into leaving everything she wants, all the while he's got a mess of his own. With a fake marriage, a stalker, two restraining orders, maybe a proposal or two, and friendship that shines through it all, this one is one for the books!!!
... What to expect....
Small town, blackmail, loss, revenge, violence, best friends to lovers, one bed, second chance, forced proximity, fake marriage, friendship, slow burn, banter, tension, curvy fmc, betrayal, edging, assault, PTSD, harassment, abuse, therapy, lots of spice, and more!!!

The sweetest friends to lovers with a cinnamon roll MMC you will ever encounter.

This is the story of Calli and Nick. We meet them in book one Fate Will Bring You Home and in this book, we get to read about their love story and their history. I love their love and I love the way that Danielle writes about this community of friends. I would love to be friends with this group of meddlers. They are hilarious and supportive and I can not wait for book three!

3 of my favorite things about this book:
1) HEARTBREAK 2 WEEKS BEFORE THE WEDDING!? What an intense way to start a book!
2) Six years of unrequited love is A LOT of pent-up tension… this book is SPICY!
3) This love story is a storm that sweeps the characters up and puts them back down exactly where they belong.

Fate Forever and Always by Danielle Lynn

This was an anticipated read since I read book one. It was such an exciting read and I think the story was beautiful. I do recommend to read book one before you dive into book 2. Now this would have been a 5 start but Callie got on my nerves quite a few times. Other than that, this was an enjoyable read. Nike is husband goals. I’m obsessed with him. He was just perfect in every aspect. If you love a virgin male main character then this would be a perfect read for you.

When the wrong person is who you continue to be with but the right one was has always been right there waiting.
I was truly engaged from the beginning in Nick and Callie’s story. Nick has some major patience and Callie has to decide to trust herself and maybe, just maybe, someone else too.

Book two of this interconnected series by Danielle Lynn was a 5/5 for me!

Fate Forever and Always follows Nick and Callie. Who you meet in book One Fate Will Bring You Home. I loved that I already knew a lot about these characters prior to this book. This book had me feeling every emotion possible. Friends to lovers is one of my favorite tropes, and I enjoyed that it was a he fell first situation. This book is packed with tons of love, laughter, and some spicy heat, but it also covers some difficult topics which are really well thought out and written. Please take time to read the content warnings before diving into this book.

This one is a 3.5 or 3.75 for me.

This was a very fun continuation of the series. I loved the main characters for this book. I found them to be well written and compelling. The romance was very cute.

There was a lot of drama in this one, and I appreciate the way it was handled and the honesty in the reactions that the characters had.

I felt that A lot happened to the FMC. I kinda felt it was a bit too much.

It was nice to see the characters from the previous book.

ARC Review

Fate Forever and Always by Danielle Lynn is a best-friends to lovers romance. It's the second book from "The Fate" series.

This story follows the lives of two best friends, Nick and Callie, who met when Nick moved to Callie's hometown. Along with their friend Amber, they spent a lot of time together, nurturing a bond that grew stronger with each passing day. Though Nick and Callie harbored feelings for each other, neither dared to confess, and eventually, Callie began a relationship with another boy, leaving Nick to wonder what might have been.

Seven years later, Callie finds herself heartbroken and single again. Seizing the opportunity, Nick decides to finally make his move, but the question looms: is their friendship worth the risk?

The narrative begins on a light note with Callie breaking up with her unsupportive boyfriend and moving in with Nick. As she adjusts to her new routine, the story captures various fun and heartwarming moments between the two. However, the plot takes a dramatic turn that nearly broke my heart. Fortunately, the story concludes with a sweet and satisfying happy ending.

The characters are generally well-developed. While Callie can be a bit annoying at times, it didn't detract from the overall enjoyment of the story. One of the most memorable and touching scenes was their first time making love, which was portrayed with great sensitivity and emotion.

If you enjoy romantic stories that explore the dynamics of friendship evolving into love, this book is a must-read.
