I loved this before the author started mixing up the characters stories and mixing up names frequently. She would also repeat the chapter half way through the original chapter with slightly different moments added in to the point that it was frustrating and made no sense. Would have been a 4 star if none of it happened but the mistakes were so prominent that it made it 2 stars and that’s generous. I loved the other books and feel bad for rating low but felt I had to warn people. Hopefully she fixes this. She’s very talented but this was in the nicest way possible very sloppy and disappointing since I was looking forward to this one. 😭

Do not waste your time or money on this book. Pure rubbish

I don't know what the author was thinking when they wrote this book but it's rambling, so filled with unnecessary wording, chapters all over the place being duplicated, names being confused eye color being confused. It's just a confusing rambling mess. What a terrific waste of time and effort to get through this mess. If you get it anyway don't say I didn't warn you.

Could be better

2.5* So I've read a few books by this author, and i am normally a big fan. This book started of great, had a good premise, but just failed to deliver. The kids were supposed to be 2 but acted more like 4-5 years old, which I could overlook. The thing I found lacking here was the last, like 40% of this book lacked cohesion, it's like all the brainstorming ideas for certain scenes got stuck in the book. So you'd read a scene, then the next scene would be a repeat of that event just different. The potential for this book is there, but it could use more editing to make it great.

Ugh! Disjointed.

So disappointing, I couldn’t even finish the book. It had potential but the number of mistakes and oversights distracted from the story. I have no idea how this book got positive reviews. Right out the gate, mixing up the color of eyes for a character. Then it seemed like “samples” of various scenes were kept in the book. Incorrectly titling a chapter. Story lines/scenes that just didn’t flow (because of all the “samples” scattered through out the book). You need a proper proofreader.

I thought the story was okay. But I needed more spice with a why choose this long. It may have been the wrong time for this book.. I don't know! There was so much worry and being scared for herself and her children that I didn't understand why she wouldn't trust the MMCs to protect them. They are their flesh and blood. It just took forever for the relationships to kick in and the trust to form. From all the other books I've read in this series... this seemed like the least spicy so far. These guys were real Alphaholes that were fighting everything in them to NOT trust our FMC at the beginning, but I just, I don't know. I needed more, and I don't know what more there could be.

…. what happened?

Around 60/70% through the writing went off the rails. What the heck happened? Repetition and changing POV. I was so confused. The book started off so strong though!!

Confusing

I’m not sure if it was just the kindle edition but there was so many times throughout the story that I just didn’t understand. There were story advances and then I’m not sure if they were actually dreams or if they actually happened. Like did Lily actually get harmed by Arlo or was this a dream? Did Damian find her, they said Cassius was injured looking for info but he was present to help Lily. Ultimately, I wanted to like the story but it felt disjointed and awkward. There were so many loose ends like Lily gets the job and then works a total of one shift then goes back only once and her job is never mentioned again. Like did she quit?

I’m still very confused overall but I can appreciate the hard work that went into the story and respect this authors craft.

Depending on your lifestyle, I would read the trigger warnings. This book hooks you from the start from the masquerade ball to the bonus epilogue. I love each of the 4 characters and seeing them come together in the end. Spice is amazing and so good. I wasn't sure if Damian and Annalise relationship would work out, but I'm happy it did. I would love to know just exactly who won at the end of that poker game!.

I usually love all of Liz Archer's stories however not this one. It was like it was never edited at all and lots of repetitive paragraphs and chapters. Names kept getting confused and created bafflement. The children talked and acted more like 6 - 7 years old then 2 years old. This book needs to go back and be edited again, too many typos, grammatical errors and just plain confusion everywhere. The first half of book was great and then came the not so great.

This book is a terrible waste of time and money!

I don’t know if this was written by AI or what happened with the story: the plot has holes, the storyline is a chaotic nightmare of mixed up spliced sections that have no cohesion, the characters are boring and lack development and depth.
Anyone who edited it or proofread this should not be allowed to do so in the future! It is a terrible conflicting storyline that makes no sense whatsoever. The twin girls are supposed to be two years old but are written behaving and talking like they are 6 or 7…. The writing is disjointed and all over the place sometimes almost repeating itself. The way the main characters are interacting goes from nothing to talking about a shared history and references things that never occurred in the book…

This book, Bratva Daddies, evolves around Annalise and her guys, Nikhil, Cassius and Dominic. After crashing a private masquerade ball, she meets Nikhil and his brothers after being caught eavesdropping; when accused of being a spy, she manages to convince them only to turn around a sleep with two of three brothers; the other refraining because she looks like the woman he once love; her sister. The story jumps, 5 years and we see she is the mother of twins; one of the brothers, their father. After disappearing for five years she returns and upon accepting a new job, after her interview, she realizes she was working for her children's father and uncle and then your typical drama unfolds.

Okay, with that being said, this book is filled with so many problems; grammatical errors, Inconsistency and horrible editing. It is hard to follow along due to bad structuring and transitions. One moment she's across the room standing only to be getting up from the bed the next. It makes it hard to see the scene unfold when you are constantly having to re-read a passage to figure out what is going on. Another example; one page states she left town for five years only for the next passage, or a few pages further, it states 3 years since she was with the brothers. One moment, Nikhil's eyes are blue and then suddenly, they are green? Does this author not keep track of her characters; which we have no idea what they look like because she has never described them.

Furthermore, they are supposedly part of the Bratva and yet no one in their city, which has never been mentioned, knows who they are. How is that even possible?

I'm not convinced this author did research on the Mob nor character development because this story is all over the place. I gave it a three star because its not a bad book but it needs flushed out and edited better than it was. I plan on finishing it, unless it takes a nose dive.
Update:
If I was on a plane, an alarm would blaring because this book is getting worse. After trying to leave with her children, she is captured and held captive by the brothers; for seven days she hasn't ate or drank anything, yet we are to believe she has the strength to take a shower without aid. The body can't survive that long without water and yet she's went a week?

Update: DNF @ 53%
I have had enough of this book; it is so frustrating. Other than them calling themselves Bratva, there is nothing Bratva about them. What Dom or Bratva member, high in the organization, goes around without security or without a driver; they have a rival family after them and yet, no security and their leaving her alone in a boutique, but that's not what caused me to quit. What caused me to quit was the strip poker they began playing; so childish and immature. I can not bring myself to read 200+ pages more of this unresearched, poorly crafted and badly edited book.

Plot is OK but book is not

Spoilers- Ok. I enjoyed the plot as a mindless read after the story started moving along. And I’ll admit I got about 70% completed before I jsut wanted to throw my kindle at the wall.
It was chapter 33 that did it. I have stopped reading the book to write this review. All of sudden A is hiding from C and then tells C she slept with D. All of a sudden out of nowhere C is insanely in love with her.shes his soulmate. And he attacks D because of it. So nowhere up to now does it give ANY indication that C is ‘in love with A’. Up until now he’s been only interested in her when he was trying to get some. Except for the zoo. And then A is talking about how D screwed over his brother (still not sure what about. Nothing this far has indicated what it was) and her somehow cause D is engaged. Pretty much most of this book has little interaction between A&D. One steamy time in the hot tub and she’s still not even sure if she likes him. But she’s all butt hurt about him being engaged when she’s screwing the brothers and doesn’t even like D. There’s so much more that’ makes no sense. Apparently everything has happened off stage so to speak.
This book is like it started out as 1000 pages and was brutally cut down to 300…idk how Many pages it is, but you get the gist.
Most of the stuff that is happening is not being relayed. You just have to infer it from chapter to chapter. Characters personalities are all of the place. And not in a good way.
I just couldn’t continue this book.
Chapter 33 just psised me off so much, I didn’t even finish chapter 33.
I read all the time. A lot of books. I rarely if ever give less than 3 stars- and I still gave this one 2 stars cause it was interesting enough to read, but I’ve reached my DNF point.
If you are high and and want a mindless read you will never think about again or have to really pay any attention to…this is the book.

The Volkov brothers are powerful, dangerous, filthy rich and gorgeous. But not every woman is ready to be in the presence of these men without falling to their knees.
Damian the eldest and head of the family, all responsibilities fall on his shoulders, than we have the second son and spare to the family, Nikhil. Always in his brothers’ shadows because he was only born to take over if something happened to Damian. We than have the youngest of all the son’s Cassius, he knows there is no responsibility put on him because he is the 3rd born and there is no need for him because neither one of his brothers would lay down and die. So Cassius is the ultimate party, ladies man and everyone just loves him because he is so happy and charming and often in trouble by his brother’s for slacking off and not staying on task. So that is what happens when the past blows into the Volkov’s offices and becomes an employee. Annalise is a woman they met 3 years ago at a party, but there are secrets in her life and about her that she doesn’t even know about. The story takes off, Anna is hiding something from the brothers and they are hiding truths about her and her family that she doesn’t know about. We have family drama, secrets and lies, betrayal and death, mafia wars and kidnapping, torturing, and hot steamy connections and that can’t be ignored. Liz Archer does it again by delivering us a heroine that will do anything and everything to protect her family and 3 dominate, possessive, powerful men who will tear down the earth and walk straight into hell to get what belongs to them back.

I received an Advanced Reader Copy and am voluntarily reviewing it. Ms. Archer definitely knows how to write a reverse harem book. This one was a little different. Annalise Tryst's curiosity got her into a little trouble. The good kind of trouble that included two brothers. Cassius and Nikhil Volkov fulfill all of Annalise's fantasies that night. So well that she walked away with a souvenir.

Three years later. Annalise finds a job and guess who the owners are? You are correct. The Volkov brothers. Maybe they won't remember her. She cannot let her daughters become pawns in their life. These men are Bratva. She and her family cannot be associated with them, right? Cassius and Nikhil make the decision easy for her. She and the girls are theirs to protect. There is a lot of push and pull from all parties, especially Damian. Damian is the oldest, and the head of the family.

As always you can't just have a perfect scenario without some drama. Where is the fun in that? Damian has some demons to overcome. He can see himself falling for Annalise, but can he do that as the head of a bratva syndicate? This book gives readers a lot. You get to know each one of these guys individually with Annalise. That will make you fall in love with each one of them. They each love Annalise very differently, but also in a way that she needs at the time. There is some action so hang on to your hats and enjoy the ride.

It was such a fight to read this as far as I did and I still couldn’t find it in myself to finish it. I’d provide a negative rating if I could. If you don’t want general spoilers, don’t read.

This whole thing is basically multiple drafts the writer smashed together without editing.

You are reading a chapter, the heroine decides to go for a run. Somehow she can do so without guards, even though she was kidnapped and placed in the “heroes” home against her will. There is no progression into their relationships or any background or how circumstances are changing.

In another chapter, we find the heroine is in a dress and being taken to the bath and disrobed. Then she enters the bath and is joined by a second brother. Once the third brother comes in, she’s magically not in the tub and dressed again.

What happened with her sister???? And the situation at the warehouse when she was abducted and beaten? And the wedding?

The heroine talks about all the dangers of the bratva and being scared. Aside from the word bratva, nothing dangerous in this book (other than poor writing).

The lame repetition of “shivers” and “swelling with pride” are just contrived.

There is no real plot or themes and no depth at all (keeping in mind I know what I’m reading and don’t expect Tolstoy, but come on!). This should have been about 100 pages and no where near 400 pages.
So frustrating!

Sienna who is part of the catering team catering for a masquerade ball, sneaks herself and her best friend Annalise into it. But Annalise ends up having a more private party with the brothers who hosted the party, and they give her a parting 'gift'.

The next few years Annalise has stayed away from the area but an opportunity arises for a job with good pay and prospects which pulls her back. But she gets a surprise the first day on the job! From there her life changes in a big way.

Annalise is navigatng her new 'reality' within the Volkov family. The brothers and their sister Isabella are trying to keep her and her family safe. At the same time, Annalise is fighting her attraction to the men.

A steamy, passionate story with a strong female lead. Annalise may be at the mercy of the 3 brothers but she will fight her corner for what she believes in. Her compassion, kindness and devotion to her children draw the men to her. But there is more that connects her to the brothers but will she uncover that secret? Will the men trust her enough to let her in, can she prove to them she is worthy? That she is a 'Volkov Princess'.

Absolutely loved this book. If you are looking for a why choose RH, this is perfect!

Annalise has a one night stand with 2 of the bratva brothers. She ends up pregnant and runs away to hide. When she moves back home she lands a job with the brothers. The oldest brother is not a fan of her for awhile, however, he does come around at some point. The brothers eventually come to the conclusion that they can share her. Of course Annalise gets her happily ever after, with all three men.

The spice was amazing! Absolutely loved the scenes, especially the first one. It jumps straight into a MMF scene within the first few chapters. We don’t get a full MMFM until the end of the book. I wish there would’ve been more building around Damian. I know he was the mysterious/quiet brother, but I feel like we could’ve gotten more from him. The other 2 male characters, Cassius and Nikhil, were very present and a lot more active in the book.

We don’t read a lot about the children throughout the book, they just pop up here and there. BUT overall, I think the plot was good. I read the entire book in one sitting.
10/10!!!.

The story draws the reader in.

While the story was good, some of it was unrealistic ansd a bit choppy. I liked the plot of the story. But , Anna was only gone three years before returning. That would have made the twins around two years old. Maybe a bit older. The author has written their dialogue quite a bit further advanced of the capabilities of an average toddler. She gave the fictional twins more abilities, such as a perfect handstand at the pool, or the twins getting her to the family doctor when she fainted. I realize the author was trying to include the children in the script. I imagine that was a bit difficult. Some of the continuity of the scenes was hard to follow. Things as Anna going out to run at night to the cemetery. It jumped from her trying to find solace at her sister's grave right into her getting ready to run and talking to one of the servants of the home. All idiosyncrasies aside, the book was very good. I was left curious about the father of the last baby. If it was mentioned, I did not catch it. I may have to read it again to see what I missed. It is worth a second read.

Good story needs editing

I really hope Liz Archer goes back to this book and does some major editing. The story line is sweet and I really do like Annalise and all of the brothers but there were times in the book when I felt I was reading two different stories and both stories were rushed through. A few things I'd love to have fixed is the nickname. When she's refered to as Lily it came from out of no where and the first few times I thought it was a typo, it wasn't until later when it was mentioned that Lily was her nickname. The villian of the story was another aspect of the book that was confusing. 'Timothy', came out of no where and who he was or why he was targeting and the one scene he was in felt like the scene was added in as an afterthought.

I want to add that the twin daughters are supposed to be 2 years but they way they are written they are a few years older.

The last thing is that I'm not sure if its because my digital copy was buggy or if its again an editing issue but a few of the scenes repeated themselves.

I finished this book, but it was almost a hate-read situation with lots of skimming. Right off the bat, like from one page to the next a main character's eyes changed color. I still have no idea how old the children are because the chapter after the initial sexual encounter begins with "5 years later." The children mostly act like children, however they talk like teenagers at times. "Don't be jealous of our culinary skills," is a bit much even for a precocious child. However shortly after this, the FMC indicates that the encounter was only 3 years ago. And how long ago did the incident with the sister happen? And how old is anyone? The only think I know for sure is that I guess Cassius is the youngest brother by 10 years.

Honestly the romance didn't hit for me either. I could get behind the idea that mobsters might kidnap her and her children "for safety." But why keep her away from her children for so long? That seemed needlessly cruel and they never truly seemed sorry for that.

Pretty much nothing about Damian really made sense to me.

proof reading & editing lacking

As much as i liked the overall story, it was hard to read due to frequent errors throughout the story. At frequent points, I would read about one point in the story and the next page it would be that same point but edited while both portions were left in the book. Also at multiple points the story would confuse the characters names, for instance the twin daughters names were accidentally switched with main characters SIL Isabella. At another point, one love interest, Cassius, was shot in the chest while rescuing Anna and then on subsequent pages they reference him being shot while attempting to get information about their nemesis. And finally throughout the entire book they frequently call the main character by different names, sometimes Annalise, Anna or Lily, which Anna and Annalise make since but Lily?? Idk…would be better to remove the book and have it proofread and edited before releasing

This was an absolutely amazing book to read it sucked me in until the very end, the story was well developed and the characters were sensational. This book was about Nikhil, Cassius, Damien and Annalise. Annalise decide to sneak into an elite party to pick up a man for a night, that was the biggest dirtiest night ever, one massive kink fest, after that night she left town only to come back two years later. The Volkov brothers, Nikhil, Damien, and Cassius they were hosting a party when Nikhil caught a female somewhere they shouldn't have been. Now she is back and she has something they want. All the emotions throughout this story was epic.

Tropes: age gap, RH, mafia MMCs, HEA, secret pregnancy.

The Bratva Daddies consists of 3 Volkov brothers. The eldest, Damien, the middle, Nikhil, and the youngest, Cassius. Annalise is snuck into a party by her friend who is working the event. This is where she meets the 3 Volkov brothers, the hosts of the part, where they go off to have their own smaller private party, giving her the sexual experiences she's wanted. One that leaves Annalise with an unexpected present, a pregnancy with twin girls.

Years later, Annalise accepts a job offer, not realising that her new bosses are the same men she had a hot night with. She tries to fight both the attraction she still has to the brothers while also trying to keep her secret. However, the brothers are also keeping secrets from her. What happens when both their secrets come out in the open? An interesting fast-paced mafia read.

This book started off really amazing! I loved all the guys (Nikhil, Damian and Cassius), and their relationship with each other. The way Annalise ended up embroiled with them was also intriguing and hooked me pretty much right away.

The story progressed well (other than the twins acting about 5yo, instead of the quoted 3yo), until about 60% into the book. And then the plot and writing just about fell apart. Repeated text, and changed story lines for two of the characters being the worst issues.

It still ends fairly well, hence my 3-star rating, instead of lower.

Having loved previous books by Liz Archer, this was a bit disappointing. Also, being part of the ARC Team, I did try to reach out to Liz to clarify the problems, but over a month later and I've had no response.

Aggressive

While I expected some aggression being that it is a mafia story, the level of aggression and just plain meanness is off- putting. I forced myself to keep reading, telling myself it has to have some softness, or kindness, or romance---something besides cruelty. I made it to 65percent and had to quit. My meter for caring about the main characters went from 2 out of 10 starting this book, to 0. This book did have some sex scenes, several of which were so disrespectful of her, I skipped over the scenes (and I love reading some sexy times in books). Then add on kidnapping, isolation, forced abandonment of children, etc, and this book's characters are so aggressively mean. Maybe the book got better the last 35percent, I don't know or care, but anyone who likes cruel dominant stories, you may like this one.

I love everything about this book. It peaked my interest from the beginning. I loved Annalise and her strong will. Nikhil, Cassius, and Damian were everything I didn't know I needed. I love Sienna as well she is a great best friend. Cassius is my favorite I feel guilty admitting that. They were all great but Cassius was the sweet. I was so involved in this book, I couldn't put it down. I currently reading the book suggested at the end of this book. The plot was great and it kept me entertained from start to finish. Liz Archer has become one of my new favorite author. I can't wait to read more. I loved the plot and the story it definitely is one of those dark sightly twisted romance but now to twisted. I can't wait for what comes next sign me up!!!!!.

I received this book with the understanding that I could leave a voluntary and honest review.

In this book we meet Annalise Tryst, Damian, Cassius, and Nikhil Volkov. Annalise just wanted to spend a night seeing how the other half lived. It is a masquerade ball after all so no one should question her. Nikhil knew from the moment he laid eyes on Annalise she wasn't like the other women at this ball and he had to know more. What he thought though was she was a spy for one of the other families. Though he just can't seem to be completely hardened against her he finds both him and his brothers want more. Will they all find a HEA or when they all meet again will the secrets between them be too much to overcome?

Another amazing hit by this author. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

This book was a roller coaster of feelings. After crashing an elite party with a friend. Annalise overheard a conversation that altered her life forever. She was give.n two offers live or die. After which she left town. But when she returns for work offer. The B choice also brought along a couple beautiful gifts. Terrified her secret will get out she tries to be as small as can be but when the company you work for is owned by the three hot men that changed her life. It is not as simple as can be. Three brooding hot mafia brothers all attracted to the same woman doe one reason or another. Will they be able to work things out and find a happy ending. Read and find out

I enjoy this series a lot and this book was a bit different yet similar to the previous books in this series.
I like the characters a lot and I love the chemistry and attraction between them. I love the twins but they feel a bit too mature for two year olds. That's annoyed me a bit. But if you ignore that, it's a good storyline.
I have a bit of a love hate relationship with mafia book and mafia men. There's a lot of violence always involved, and a lot of darkness. But they make a good protective characters.
All in all, a pretty good book with good characters. The plot is not my favourite but it's interesting and doesn't get boring.

Story was ok, felt a bit rushed. Everything just happening so quickly seemed unrealistic.
They assume she is a spy and within seconds are seducing her without question, then when they reunite they are angry at her and then all of a sudden they love her and want forever . . . With nothing really occuring to build or create these feelings.
The editing issues were annoying, there was supposed to be a 5 year gap, then suddenly they go a chapter saying it's only 3 years.
It's multiple POV and there is a chapter for one character but once you get past the second paragraph it suddenly switched to someone else, you realize when they are addressed by name. Those type of issues tend to take me out of the story.
