Rate this book
Event riders Hattie Kimble and Daniel Templeton-Smith are falling for each other, but Hattie is hiding a secret from Daniel and as the weeks pass telling him the truth seems to get harder than ever. As the eventing season throws them challenge after challenge, will Hattie and Daniel’s relationship grow stronger or is it going to break apart?

Farrier Wayne Jefferies is living the dream. Fresh from his appearance in the Rural Pleasures charity calendar, he’s had more one-night stands than he can count, but when he meets aspiring dressage rider Megan Taylor he starts to experience something he’s never felt before – love. If only she felt the same way.

Megan Taylor can barely make ends meet, so when her tack is stolen and she can’t afford to replace it, she starts a side-hustle on OnlyFans. The money starts pouring in, but it’s not long before she’s attracting unwanted attention that threatens to destroy her job, her friendships and her budding equestrian career. The one man she’s interested in seems to have friend-zoned her. Can she get him to change his mind?

Dressage diva Jem Baulman-Carter becomes an Instagram sensation when she posts a video of herself crying after her tack room is burgled. But when Daniel Templeton-Smith turns down her romantic advances, she vows to get her revenge on him.

ENVY & ELEGANCE is a spicy, adrenaline-fuelled equestrian sports romance set in the rural idyll of Leightonshire county and the interconnected worlds of eventing and dressage.

This is kinda a 2 for one

There are two romances brewing... But they are sorta background to the story of qualifying for various horsey competitions, dressage, and eventing there are 3 competitors you get to follow in this story as they progress and of course their riders interactions. There is a crime spree too that needs solved and lots of secrets to share. Its actually a good horsey story but again the romance is very tame the horses and their riders are kinda the stories.

It was pretty good. To be honest I’ve had so much going on in my personal life this month with moving house that I struggled to focus on it fully, and some bits were a bit too stressful in my already stressed situation. But I think it was pretty good overall, just maybe not as good as the first one.
