Ok, this was FANTASTIC! The entire series has been one I couldn’t put down and the end is absolutely no exception. Lucian is at the end of his journey and NOTHING is stopping him. He and his crew have been through test after test, struggle after struggle, and while there is nothing that will stop him it doesn’t mean that people don’t try.

The action was fantastic, I was on the edge of my seat reading the entire time. Up to the last moments you wonder if things might turn around and go south, even as you as the reader are encouraged by Lucian’s own confidence in himself. Anyone who has been on this journey knew how things were going to end in a basic sense.

But Kyle West keeps the twists and turns coming, keeps the tension and danger coming, and gives us a conclusion worthy of the hero Lucian Abrantes has become. Can’t wait to see what the writes next.

Fantastic series

Great character development to the point where I felt like these people were my friends. Especially with their character flaws as all people have. Their doubts and insecurities made them more real.

I bought this whole series on a whim based on a Facebook ad. I’ve done this before and been disappointed but the description and reviews were good enough to give it a go. I wasn’t disappointed! The whole series is amazing and gripping. Lots of twists and turns and heartache and celebration without being too hard on your emotions. Everything kept getting bigger and bigger until book 9 when I thought it couldn’t get any bigger. Yet in this final book it continued to escalate to a huge crescendo. It was lovely at the end to have the "normal life" follow up.

I think I’ll need to look into Kyle's other series (hopefully his writing skills were as good for them).

It all started when I saw an ad on Facebook, before I even bought an e-reader. I saw all of Kyle West's books on sale and well... I bought them all.

Do I regret it? Hell no! I have thoroughly enjoyed The Starsea Cycle and it was definitely worth the read-through. I was very invested in wanting to know how it all ended. Thank you for the wonderful story you have brought us.

Now... What's next for me? Well, there's still The Wasteland Chronicles and The Xenoworld Saga to get through! I have read that they are semi-connected, so I am curious about their stories!

Excellent Finale to an Excellent Series

I read this series the way people myself included binge watch Marvel, Star Wars, Outlander and Bridgerton. The series blends fantasy, science fiction, romance, and coming of age genres in a perfect combination.

Loved, loved, LOVED, this series. It is such a beautiful mix of futuristic sci-fi and fantasy. I loved the magic system, and the protagonist goes through a ton of character development.
