What if you could make your own pet in a jar, using the magic of alchemy? When Vinni discovers that her Grandmother’s plotting drove her mother insane, she flees to the streets of Sangrila. Hunted by the other families, Vinni collects a group of her sorceress cousins and street urchins to become the opposition to her Grandmother's monstrous plans. Can they save the Red House, the only home Vinni has ever known?

About the author

Lawrence Kapture has been involved with books all his life, as an avid reader and then a librarian. Eleven years with the New York Public Library included time on the influential Books to Remember committee, and ended with him moving to the sticks to take a gig as the Head of Adult and Reference services at a library near Kalamazoo. He started publishing in the early nineties with role playing game supplements.
