Tim's book is extraordinarily readable. The kind of read that will warm the hearts of any sports fan, Hoosier, down-to-earth person. TJ Murphy is the type of person who makes mistakes (he's not a fan of "entitlement" thinking about raises like COLA, he's sometimes blunt about others' health, and he's a fan of work comes first), but his ability to create a sense of ownership and agency in languishing people make this a good turnaround story. Better yet, Tim doesn't shy away from co-leaders who can't be won over or fully understood, which is one of life's basic leadership realities.
I could turn this to a five in the future, as I did bookmark several places, but fives are reserved for the stuff that sticks with me for years.
