Prosecution:
At times, the speech wasn't very natural and was a little stiff. I felt like the flow could get a little choppy while at other times it was flowing quite nicely.

Defense:
Omigod. Just, wait, give me a moment.
Okay, I'm back. Can I just say, I'm glad I read this book? Considering I'm not a huge fan of fantasy or paranormal, this was perfection. Holly acted like a teenage girl. Leo was a little creepy with his all "I NEED YOU NOW" marriage thing, but that could just be my inner fear of commitment. But yenno, Holly went along with it. The ending was just...mhmmm. c; I MUST FIND THE NEXT ONE, yO♥

Finished. OMG this book is so good. The story revolves around Holly and Leo, who unknowingly are from the same world. On first meeting there was an immediate connection, they just had to be together ....... although their life paths had been predetermined - and being together was not in plan!
I fell in love with Leo's character; strong, fit, confident and sexy. He will stop at nothing to keep Holly safe from those who want to keep them apart.
Can't wait for Book 2!

It's a good story I guess. I'll give it some points for being creative, but that is where the praise stops. I could pretty much see through the dialogue which was just too superficial, for want of a better word.
I was just shaking my head throughout the whole book. There are books that captivate you in their world space and this book just doesn't do that.

It seemed a bit childish in places and Leo's parents really annoyed me but I totally read into the story and have it all figured out. Can you say switched at birth? The second installment should be interesting.

3.5 Stars. I really enjoyed this story for New Adult/Older YA, it pulled me in and kept me engrossed up to the rather "mid story" ending. Yes the story was predictable, but it was well written, the characters were likeable and the editing good (have ploughed through too many illegible books lately, fortunately this wasn't one of them). The only down side to this book is that I want to read the rest of the series and even though GR says they are published I can't find them for sale anywhere. Guess it means more waiting for me :(

Who doesn't love a love story???Who doesn't love to see people who are meant to be together, stay together??Who doesn't like a little bit of adventure??

If you agree with all these then you must read this book...

I started this book and then I couldn't put it down..And when I finished I went straight to Lana Davison's page on goodreads to learn when the second one is coming out..I keep checking every week..I admit it..

Please don't keep me waiting too long!!

I liked the plot and background to this story, it was unique and entertaining. However, i felt the writing style somewhat lacked. The dialogue was dry and unconvincing at it's best and made me roll my eyes and skim at its worst. The narrative lacked description and had a tendency to gloss over large amounts of time and action. I feel that this could have been more engaging than it was if only the author had taken more time and the writer's golden rule to heart: show, don't tell.

The description of this book sucked me in, but I really wasn't sure what to expect from it. I loved what I read and I will definately pick up a sequel. I'm rooting for main characters and it would be nice if the story would come full circle and we could find out some more about the characters who weren't very big in this novel, but could be for the future of the story.

I couldn't put the book down. I just love the story line. I found myself rooting for Holly and Leo as they went through their ups and downs not realizing that they come from they same place with the same rules. I was happy with the ending but was left wanting more. Can't wait till I can purchase next two books in the series from the kindle store.

A 2.5 from me. The story was a bit predictable, but still quite a good story and had some really nice moments. However, it felt a bit too rushed. It would have been better if it had been fleshed out a bit more and if the characters had been a bit more developed.
