Ana stumbled into the Bratva's web, now it's her prison and playground. Her quest for justice trapped her with the grumpy and irritatingly protective Dima. They're reluctant allies in this dangerous game, their banter a constant battle of wits. He's not a threat to her, but he's quickly becoming her biggest distraction.
As they dive deeper into her need for revenge, the lines between them begin to blur. And with each step closer to their target, their connection grows more forbidden.
She's torn between her thirst for vengeance and a desire that could ruin everything.
Dima sees her as a storm in human form, disrupting the order he's fought to maintain. He despises her, yet he's drawn to her violence like a moth to flame. Attachment is a liability in his world, but he craves to taste the danger on her arrogant lips. He never intended to see beyond her lethal facade. Now he glimpses vulnerabilities that mirror his own, and it's intoxicating. The urge to claim her, to intertwine their fates, grows stronger each day.
In a world where loyalty is currency and love is a death sentence, how much would you sacrifice for revenge?

I loved this book, could NOT put it down. The weird quirks Ana (Vanya) has mixed with Dimas love and obsession with her made such an interesting, mind blowing dynamic between the two. The plot had my mouth dropping and the bombs kept coming especially halfway through I didn’t think any more could happen. Vanya’s strength, resilience and determination to finding who she is was compelling and I truly felt as though I was witnessing her transformation. Could not recommend this book any more! Well done & thank you for allowing me to arc read this incredible book🖤

“You take after Vlad’s psychotic ass, makes sense.” His smile is warm too and Tali is like a kid on Christmas with Vlad being his usual dickhead self. “Get your things, you’re coming home, pipsqueak.”

As I said, after this book I will definitely need therapy because this is one of the most brutal and twisted books I've read.
I don't even know what to write because from beginning to end it was full of some unexpected events, it constantly held my attention and I didn't know what to expect when I move on to the next chapters. Ana, B, Vanya, whatever her name is, is psychotic, twisted, unpredictable, dangerous.
Dima is patient, understanding, he simply knows how her master mind works. She is the female version of her father and this series is a real refreshment for me. Each book is getting better and better and I will definitely have this on my shelf. It has all the best recommendations from me and I can't wait for the next installment about the Vartanov family.
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Thank you to AX Cole for giving me the opportunity to read your ARC. Oh boy was this book DARK. There are a lot of tough topics in this book. But, I feel like they were covered well. I appreciate that the gory details are saved for the revenge scenes. The character building and the relationship that is built between the FMC and MMC is so tender and sweet. Their relationship was so heartwarming amidst so much toment and evil.
Definitely make sure to read the TW. I thought I could handle it (I've so a lot of dark twisted shit so I'm like, I can do it... rightright? WRONG) It's pretty gnarly, and it was a bit hard for me to read it. Not in the author fault at all. They did exactly what they were doing.
The story was really interesting. My main concern was the time jumps/skips. It was a bit confusing at first because when Ana gets introduced, she's a lot younger. Once the romance happened, I was highly concerned because I thought she was still young. Uh, no, it turns out it's 10 years later.
Overall, it was a good read, and I enjoyed it. I did get upset towards the end because there was annoying self-sacrificing yelling at each, mainly because I didn't know where the plot was heading.
There were major writing structures that I felt it needed to be fixed. However, I'm not going to fault the author, nor does it really affect my ranking. I received an ARC from the author, and though my reviews are honest, I thank the author for allowing me to read their book and appreciate that even though I was late to review, they understood. I wish A.X Cole the best!
Voracious is the fourth installment in the East Coast Bratva Series of interconnected standalones that should be read in order, because the background gives purpose to the current state of affairs.
**Sensitive readers beware of the TRIGGER WARNINGS. Read at your own discretion.**
**FULL DISCLOSURE: You's probably going to ball you eyes out. The author admits being 20% responsible for the emotional damage. The remaining 80% is your own.**
I was expecting a lot of things in this book, but definitively not this. Dima and Ana' story is peculiarly special, raw and gritty and emotionally impacting. Ana, pipsqueak, hellion, psycho.....there are so many versions of the same person inside Ana. The child that never got to be an infant, the violent murderer hardned by life, the psychotic hellion with a purpose, the altruistic being giving her life to save those who treated her with care and respect, the dreamy B., that is good and normal.... Every piece of Ana' story is told in innocense, acceptance and normalization of trauma and conditioning.
"(...)If all I know are horrible things that you think are disgusting or sad, that doesn’t mean it's like that to me. To you it’s sad, to me it’s my life.(....)"
And Dima....Dima, Dima, Dima is the man you want on your side! Quiet, reserved, with an air of grumpiness surronding him, doesn't talk much, but observes deep and after their initial animosity, "(.....) I could shoot Ana in the back of the head right now and make it look like an accident (.....)", he just wants to crack the enigma. And what made me admire him even more, is that at a very early time we see him wanting to bear her burdens and fight the monsters alongside his sweet hellion, doing it with so much care, sensitivity and tenderness, working on her trust, noticing the simple details that mean the world to her, showing there's a lot more out there, namely the place where she belongs, with him, with them....
"(....)I want to see the world through her eyes, all the little things she gives importance to. But they only shine so brightly because of how dark her memories are.(......)"
I loved that Dima's efforts got reciprocated and they became a team inside a team, "(...) I’d happily go to war for Dima, he’s my favorite person and he always smiles at me.(...)" and as soul-wrecking and heartbeaking as this tale is, it's also so full of hope and retribution "(....) Promise to keep me? Forever, lisichka, I’ll be reincarnated with you. (...)" and once somebody in the Vartonov's vicinity is set on something, they all are, as a united front, as a family....
And as if it weren't heartfelt and so magnificiently superb the way our protagonists love bloomed, in such chaos, mayhem and bl00d thirst, the author presents us with the plot twist of all plot twists, ingeniously done in simple coincidences, details and despair, realistic and unfortunate as the event that made it happen...... Once more, I broke for Vlad, Inessa, Val, Tali.... for another nail in the Vartanov' shattered innocense, the pain of impotence, the years of grief and mourning....
Upon settled dust, there is another battle to contend with, the overbearing Vartanovs, their rules of protection and supremacy, but Ana is no princess and Dima is man for the job!
“Don’t pity me. I’m not dumb, I know my life is weird and I’m weird, but to me it’s normal because I didn’t have anything else.”
They will never look too closely in your dead eyes. They’ll never know the truth behind your scars. They say your smile is crazy…if only they knew the truth behind your mask.
A girl forced to do the deeds of the wicked…is it any wonder your carefree mind turned unhinged and has a thirst for a bloody revenge?
Maybe the Grim Reaper keeps letting me escape because it likes what I’m doing, it agrees with me.
To protect your little sister you will do anything to fight back. Even if that means shaking hands with the sociopath who has the same morals as you. Together you will both create a messed up family.
A boy quickly turns into a man to become someone that can provide for his newfound family…someone deadly who shouldn’t be crossed as he will do anything to protect the ones he loves…
“I’m not going to survive you, am I, lisichka?” “I won’t kill you.”
So, what will happen when two grey souls see the darkness within? When you wash away the blood that coats their skin…what are they really hiding? Some would say broken…but they say beautiful…
She’s a psycho, a hellion. But she is mine.
Well I am absolutely wrecked, my emotions are still in a trail spin and I blame A.X Cole for putting me through this…Yet at the same time you should totally read this!
Ana is unlike any other female character that I have read before, her uniqueness and her whole story really does make sense for the character she has turned into. It was very surprising how much depth she really has, you slowly start to uncover her, with things clicking into place and how brutal Ana’s life has been. Nothing was held back so you really do get the gritty side of events, even seeing behind the lines of what happened in her past.
I love how different she was, her personality was spot on, very tender in places and then rage-to wicked laughter with what was happening in that moment. Dima was attentive to her every need, she needed that someone in her life and he was there when no one has ever been.
Dima comes into his own now with this story, you can see his reluctance at the start and as the story goes on however, you see his feelings start to change towards Ana. I loved their story, it is a slow burn but you can understand why and when it does hit that point then, well sit back and enjoy because it is amazing reading how two characters connect how they did.
Of course, this family has a way of hiding secrets and they love to bomb drop us with very unexpected surprises. The storyline takes some interesting turns that may leave you shouting out loud.
So be warned, it’s brutal, heart wrenching and beyond a galaxy of sexyness…but will leave you with a smile-possibly tears at the end.
Voracious by A.X. Cole is one of those dark romances that grabs you by the throat from the start and refuses to let go. If you're a fan of morally gray characters and tension that practically crackles on the page, this book is going to feel like a wild ride you won’t want to end. It's got that edge-of-your-seat intensity similar to Ruthless People by J.J. McAvoy, but with a grittier, more emotionally raw twist.
The chemistry between Ana and Dima? It's electric. A moment that really stood out for me was their first confrontation. Ana’s defiance in the face of Dima’s cold, calculated demeanor immediately set the tone. There’s this one scene where she sarcastically mocks his authority, and the way he clenches his fists in silent frustration—pure gold. You feel like you're right there, standing between them, heart pounding, waiting for who’s going to give in first.
What I loved most about this book is the way it doesn’t shy away from exploring the messiness of their relationship. Dima is broody and borderline infuriating at times, but when he starts revealing these cracks in his armor—those fleeting moments where his protective side surfaces—it hits hard. Think Twisted Loyalties by Cora Reilly but with a deeper emotional punch. I found myself rooting for him, despite knowing he’s walking a razor-thin line between loyalty to his Bratva family and this uncontrollable attraction to Ana.
The emotional rollercoaster Ana goes through is equally compelling. She’s not your average revenge-seeking heroine. There’s this brilliant balance of strength and vulnerability in her character. One moment she’s fierce and laser-focused on her mission, and the next, she’s wrestling with emotions she never expected—especially when it comes to Dima. The internal conflict makes her feel so real, like a friend you’d want to sit down with and say, “Girl, what are you doing?” The slow burn between them is infuriating in the best way.
The banter between Ana and Dima is sharp and biting—if you love that kind of tension, you’ll eat this up. At one point, Ana’s throwing out jabs, and Dima’s just standing there, trying (and failing) to act unaffected. The shift in their dynamic feels so authentic, especially as they start to realize they need each other more than they’re willing to admit.
In terms of pacing, the story takes its time building up the tension between the leads while weaving in a complex plot involving the Bratva, betrayal, and the high stakes of revenge. It's the kind of slow burn that had me simultaneously frustrated and obsessed, much like Sparrow by L.J. Shen—another book where the love story feels equally dangerous and seductive.
This book had me feeling everything: the thrill of the chase, the unbearable tension of their growing connection, and the gut-punch moments when their vulnerabilities seep through. It’s not just about their attraction—it’s about how their fates are tangled in a way that feels inevitable yet dangerous. You can’t help but wonder: Will they destroy each other before they can admit what’s between them?
Voracious isn’t just a romance, it’s a deep dive into what it means to love someone when love itself could be your undoing. If you're into dark, brooding heroes and heroines with a sharp tongue, this one’s for you. Definitely adding this to my list of top mafia romance reads!
Voracious is an intensely written story about the abuse some people go through and the aftermath of it, which are often as destructive and violent as the abuse was. While it was well-written and the scenes are handled nicely enough it doesn’t leave a bad taste in the mouth, Voracious is an extremely dark romance book so please take care of your mental health and check the trigger warnings before proceeding with the story.
The story begins with Ana, a seemingly lunatic and violent young woman with a hauntingly desire to become the grim reaper herself, as she is placed under the care of Dima. She continuously resists and makes multiple attempts to escape at first, but as Dima slowly tries to become a safe place for Ana, she starts to open up.
And that’s when we’re given the darkness that has embedded itself into Ana’s world. Within her story alone, there is a lot of twists and turns I have never seen coming and it certainly does keep me on my toes. There are a lot of scenes that are very dark and again, I must remind you to check the trigger warnings.
Dima, at first hating Ana for being a lunatic and a “hellion”, later becomes the first person to fall and he fell hard. In spite of his own twisted past and the sinister things that are playing in the background, in which has brought them together in the first place, Dima has proven time and time again he would have done everything he could to make Ana herself again.
Voracious is the epitome of a dark mafia romance, and A.X. Cole has successfully managed to write a sweet romance with the background of something dark and sinister. This is book four of the East Coast Bratva series and it is a must read for dark romance readers.
Let me start off with saying CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!! This book is dark and it deals with a lot of traumatic things. Secondly if you have not read the previous books go back and read them first. If you haven't survived CH 26 you cannot truly understand how monumental this book is. I cried like an absolute baby! I am not afraid to admit I ugly cried so hard. AX Cole truly knows how to write a story that is truly unpredictable but also a rollercoaster of emotions. If you have never picked up one of her books you need too. She is so amazing and her stories are truly a work of art. She has this uncanny way of world building and character building. She makes you fall in love with the most unlovable, red flag waving, and morally grey men. I truly enjoyed Dima and Ana's story. I love how their story unfolded. It started out as a hatred of each other but slowly morphed into a relationship that was worthy of some of the great romances in dark romance literature. Ana is a character that is so psychotic that you cannot help but love her. The more you read about her the more you understand her and her behavior. Dima, Dima, Dima oh how I love you. If anyone can give Daddy Vlad a run for his money it would be Dima. Daddy Vlad will always be my favorite but Dima is definitely a close second. Even though this book was not about Daddy Vlad the scenes you get with him in it, is just the icing on top of the cake. The twists and turns in this book have officially sealed his place in my heart. Get your tissues ready for the most wild and potentially soul crushing ride of your life. You will be made new after the soul crushing. You just have to survive the ride to get to the happiest of moments.
From start to finish I absolutely enjoyed this book! It had twists that I didn’t see coming and I am all for a men support his feminine rage!
The banter between Ana and Dima in the beginning of their relationship had me laughing and during the harder parts had me close to tears. The banter that Ana had with everyone made me laugh and made her relatable as well with her sarcasm.
Dima had his childhood taken due to the actions of the people that were supposed to protect him. But he protected his sister and that’s all that mattered. Ana barged into his life unexpectedly and he wanted nothing more to kill her and leave her in a ditch. When Vlad tasks him with letting her stay at his house he wants nothing more than to do the opposite.
Ana had no childhood and when she was finally free from her prison she was set on revenge. But her journey to revenge took her on an unexpected path leading her towards a life she didn’t expect. Watching Ana grow into the person she was meant to be was amazing to watch. Her growth from when she’s introduced to when the book ends had me in tears. She’s experienced so much heart ache she deserves some happiness.
Despite what Vlad has to say Dima & Vanya (Ana) are perfect for each other. He’s just sweet enough to balance out her crazy. And most importantly she trusts him when she’s went through life trusting no one. A.X. Cole did an amazing job writing these characters I can’t want to go back and read the first three so I can properly meet the rest of the Vartanovas. 😊
Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to read Ana & Dimas story before it was released. I can’t wait to see what happens next!
This is the 4th story in the East Coast Bratva Series. This is one of the most intensely and exquisitely written stories about the sensitive contents involved - slavery, submission, abuse of the most deprived kind involving children, destruction of lives unfathomed by most with an extreme DARKNESS we all hope to never be a part of. This unique story is written with RESPECT above all and provides ways for Ana, B and Vanya to leave her past behind with a family who takes her jaded life into something special where she’s given the chance to find friends and love with a beautiful man, Dima. These two are involved in a dark romance many may never understand but to never have walked in their shoes you can only respect their choices. My heart goes out to each and every character in this heartbreaking series and finding any lightness is a win for them. There are secrets revealed from the previous stories with the Vartanov family and how they rally to even the score on those who have wronged their family and those they protect and care for. My heart goes out to Val and all he endured by the hands who should have protected Val and Vanya and chose not to. Getting justice to those who wronged so many innocent lives with the twisted punishments seemed to be exactly what the Vartanov deemed necessary. This is definitely a story to be read again and I can only imagine the roller coaster conclusion A.X. will give us in the 5th story in this series.
Let this go down as one of the most twisted and INSANE mafia reads I've read this year. A.X Cole might truly be the reason that I need therapy because of this book. Voracious was NOT what I was expecting and I willingly went through it not knowing that it was so demented. first, don't take the trigger warnings lightly with this one. I read some DARKKKKK stuff and even Voracious had me questioning my sanity at a few points. It's not for the weak and your mental health is important.
Now, A.X Cole. You are a literal twisted genius and I was so worried with the thickness of this book that maybe it will lose it's traction in the storyline or make me lose interest. But the absolute chokehold you had on me to see it through til the end was 1000% worth it. The emotional damage though was brutalllllll. I still can't put into words what your book did to me, but I can tell you it was one of the most heart wrenching mafia romances I've ever read. The trauma, the angst, the sheer emotions was written so good and in such a raw way that will literally break you to pieces. Yu told Ana & dima's story so beautifully. The storyline was perfect, each little detail was written at the right time, adding a new look into a beautifully twisted story. Voracious will be going on my indie author trophy shelf to be reread a million more times. You have a new fan and I can not wait to see what your mind conjures up next.
Possessive, Obsessive, and So Good You Can’t Put It Down!
Voracious by AX Cole is the kind of dark romance that pulls you in from the start and doesn’t let go. Ana’s character is written so well it’s like chef kiss writing —you can’t help but feel everything she’s going through. The way the author brings you into Ana’s mind is just amazing. You get to see her struggles, her reasoning, and why she’s like she is, but at the same time, with Dima perspective you understand how others see her too, which gives the story such depth.
Ana and Dima’s story is intense—there’s no denying that. They’re doing bad things for justice, no question, and you find yourself rooting for them, hoping they’ll get their happy ending. The plot is packed with twists and turns, and while it’s a long read, it’s totally worth it for all those on-the-edge-of-your-seat moments!
Just a quick warning—this one’s got a lot of heavy content, so make sure to check the trigger warnings. But if you’re into dark romance, this is a must-read!
Tropes:
• Possessive & Obsessed MMC • He falls first • Strong FMC • Morally Gray Characters • Survival & Found family • Twisted Love • Murder for Justice
Spice : 🌶️🌶️🌶️
I received an ARC of this book, and this review is my honest and voluntary opinion.
This was one of the hardest books I have ever read. Please listen to the trigger warnings. The things that are listed aren't just simply mentioned, they go into detail quite a bit. The torture of all is pretty detailed. I almost didn't finish because of the descriptions regarding what happened to the children. However, it is done in a way that is matter of fact to let you know that it happened and how it affects our main characters.
If you can get through the first half of the book, the rest is a piece of cake in comparison. While it took days to get through the first half, I devoured the second half in about a day. I loved the different dynamics amongst the characters and seeing how these relationships changed with time and information. Every detail was so thought out in this book and even the slightest detail ended up being important. The way the relationship changed between the FMC and MMC was beautiful. Dima is absolutrly amazing in the understanding and care that he provides our tormented FMC. I'm so glad that I pushed through to finish the book because I ended up loving it. It is definitely one of the hardest reads ever but it was worth it and I could see myself potentially reading this again in the future. I'll even be adding the next book to my TBR.
“People are fucked up, the more normal they seem the worse their insides are.”
The story follows Ana, a troubled young woman with a dark desire to become the grim reaper. She fights against Dima, the guy meant to help her, and tries to escape several times. But as Dima starts to become a safe space for her, Ana begins to open up. As they get closer to their common goal, their relationship turns into a risky temptation that could bring them both down.
The book dives into the darkness of Ana’s life, packed with surprising twists! Dima, who initially can’t stand Ana’s wild ways, finds himself unexpectedly drawn to her. Even with their tough pasts, he’s determined to help her find herself again.
VORACIOUS is a powerful read that explores the effects of abuse and the tough aftermath that follows. Just a heads up—make sure to check the trigger warnings before diving in. This book is NOT for the faint-hearted; it’s one of the most intense mafia romances I’ve come across! The heavy themes are handled with care, and the love between the main characters is both sweet and tender, balancing out the chaos around them. I’m seriously impressed by the author’s writing!
A big thanks to A.X. Cole for sending me a digital ARC of this book!
ARC READ (No Spoilers) Spice: 3.5/5 Plot: 4/5 Please check all the TW's as this book is a DARK MAFIA romance with all the twists and turns!
This is my first ARC read, and I can truly say that reading this book was a ride. It had a really good plot and story line, and I really enjoyed the fact that the FMC had a backbone and that she focused on her quest for vengeance! My heart absolutely broke for her and her story, but I do feel like it makes up for it in the end. The MMC in this book is definitely a morally grey character with sprinkles of cinnamon roll but only for the FMC. I also really enjoyed the fact that the hate to love aspect of this book took time. He really hated her in the beginning, and it took quite some time for the love to come. But boy when it did, the MMC was absolutely obsessed. I'd definitely recommend this book to anyone looking for a good DARK mafia romance read.
Reading this book has definitely got me curious about the first three books that was released as I enjoyed all the other characters as well. Grammatically, the writing was a little chaotic in some parts but overall, this book was still a really good read!!
Lastly, thank you to the author (A.X. Cole) for providing me with my very first ARC read ever.
I was so surprised by this book in such a good way! I am not a fan of slow-burn, not saying I don’t like slow burn, I just prefer my men completely psycho and unhinged for the FMC. Let me tell you something: if every slow burn was like THIS, my god I would be drooling over so many more books!
Dima is such a cold-hearted psychopath EXCEPT for Ana. He so badly wants to hate her until one day he’s just don’t fighting it and instead of secretly protecting her while keeping the guise, he flat out just claims her and immediately starts murdering without question. He even threatens her family 😮💨
Ana, when I first read the synopsis I wasn’t sure how it was going to go. Due to her trauma she has a “child-like” mentality at times, but even her child-like moments really show her true strength and determination, even if she is the most unhinged FMC I think I’ve ever read (and I’ve read about some psychos😂)
If you like enemies to lovers where the MMC just gives up trying to hate her and starts burning the world for her while she also unalives those that hurt nice people, this book will be the best wild ride for you!
4.5/5 ⭐️ Spice? 🌶️🌶️🌶️🌶️/5
PS — the alien scene had me looking up some abscond things 😂🫡

I actually really liked this story❤️ As I said a few times before - straight stories bore me to death lately because it's always the same. A.X. Cole succeeded in giving me a fmc who had character and was exciting to read. Also Dima was such a cutie. Loved him and his relationship with Ana so much. The story was very interesting and I liked how it was structured. Normally I'm a fan of more slow burn books but in this case I would have wished that the spice started a bit sooner because of their great chemistry. There were also many characters involved in this story which I personally appreciated because it doesn't feel so one dimensional.
I have to admit that it was a bit hard for me to get into this story and at some points it could've been a bit more fast paced but overall this was a great read. I haven't read anything before from this author but I'm gonna read the other books from this series soon and also in the future I could imagine me reading more from her. Big probs to A. X. Cole for writing a better story than some well known / hyped authors❣️
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC!
Voracious - 5 stars. Spice - 4/5 Full TW on the authors site. Tropes- - Mafia - Enemies to lovers - Age gap
Contains heavy topics: - C. S. Trafficking
I went into this partially blind. I read the blurb and skimmed the TW's. I still haven't found anything that I won't read, BTW. I've not read a lot of Mafia Dark Romance novels, but I want to. I haven't read any of the previous books in this series either, but I most definitely will be now!
Ana has my whole heart. This girls life has been the worst kind of hell, and she still has so much good inside her. She is so complex. I love her character development. I am a survivor of CSA and could understand and relate to a lot of her internal thoughts. Super well done. Her quarks and self soothing methods were so endearing to me.
Dima is a special guy. This was an extreme enemies to lovers situation for sure. He is so good and patient and supportive. We love to see it. Vlad needs to calm his t*ts and leave our man alone.
The plot for this book is what really held my attention. Yes, the smut was hot but I actually cared about these characters. I wanted them to be okay, and I wanted them to reach their goals. I don't think things were drawn out too much. There was the right amount of detail without going overboard. Definitely one of my top favorite reads of the year.
*I don't think I'll ever look at a smiley face sticker and NOT think of Ana*
If you love mafia and enemies to lovers tropes with a lovable yet unhinged FMC, please read this book! You won't regret it!

Like all the other books in this series this one messed with my mind and emotions big time. Do not go into this thinking it's going to be all hearts and flowers and a HEA because it's not. It is extremely heavy and I sat their during some of the scene thinking about just how dark and twisted AX Cole is. But at that the same time I absolutely loved it.
I did hate the way Vlad treated Dima. He's the one that told him to take her home when she was homeless he could have taken her in his house was plenty big enough so it's not Dima's fault that the more he got to know her the more he fell in love with her and wanted to protect her.
I suspected early on who Ana was but then I thought I was being stupid as I couldn't figure out how it would work and then I just kept thinking about what would have happened if Vlad had completed his mission and got the end result that he had wanted. I get why he wanted it but I'm totally relieved that Inessa and Verena came into his life and stopped him.
I loved this one and I'm said that their is only one left in the series but at the same time Tali is my favourite so I can't wait for what's going to happen in his book.
ARC REVIEW: Voracious by @axcole_writing . Ana is on a mission for revenge when she gets placed in the care of Dima, even though he can’t stand her smart mouth and erratic behavior. But as time goes on, Dima begins to understand why Ana is the way that she is. While uncovering pieces of her past, Dima can’t help but fall in love with her. But can he keep her safe or will her quest for revenge cause him to lose the only thing he’s ever been afraid to be without?
This book was the definition of DARK romance. There are a number of trigger warnings that NEED to be taken seriously because some of the content of this story is terrifyingly disturbing. But Dima and Ana’s dynamic and the way that it grows is so gorgeous. And talk about morally grey MMC! Might be my new favorite genre because I loved loved loved Dima! But again— take those trigger warnings seriously!!!!
I just did not enjoy this book. I love a good dark romance, and there were elements of this book I enjoyed but the overall flow of this was just disorienting. And there didn’t really seem to be one specific overall plot/issue being solved, just a bunch of little ones. Once one thing got taken care of it just jumped onto something else immediately. Like, we spent the whole beginning of the book worried about her goal to find Nina, and once she finds her and does what she does, it’s just fine and over, very little internal struggle over the whole thing. I get that she asked for what happened but Ana spent so long to get her and she’s just okay with how it ended? And the family dynamics had me so confused. Just as soon as I get used to who Vlad, Tali, etc. are, boom there’s another switch up.

I had the pleasure of receiving this book as an ARC and I am so grateful i did. This book surprised me in the best way and I enjoyed every second of it. I am always down to read about a strong/bada** fmc and this did not disappoint. It was exciting to read about an fmc who can beat literally any man. I also thought she was hilarious in the way that she handled affection and care because her thoughts were funny. She wasn't used to it and her thoughts were just funny but it's also sad at the same time when you get to know her character. Dima was so into her and I was not expecting him to fall first but I'm glad he did!! He cared and loved her so much and I am glad we were able to see the caring and loving side of him. I loved both of them and their relationship. The plot twists were crazy and so unexpected but I enjoyed every second of it!
Every book in this series is a gift. I love each amd every one of them, ALWAYS loving Vlad & Inessa the most. But boy does Voraxious pack a punch, this is dark dark, i don't really have any triggers but be mindful of the warnings, they are there for a reason!! Dima and Ana, well where to start with this couple of hellions. They banter and spar ike no other, have a unique relationship that becomes more. More of craziness, more of wit, more of bloodthirst and vengeance. Dima likes his control and order, Ana doesnt have any at all. She is crazy, loving the violence that drives her to seek retribution and vengeance. Together they are Vlad's trusted, part of his family. These books are so gripping, I can't put them down, life gets in the way. I need more, mot wantimg it to end. Get reading this freakimg amazing Bratva series, you will not regret it.....
This is an incredible romance that has you feelings all of feels. The range of emotions is overwhelming in all the best ways; from love to hate, thirsty for revenge and then hopeful for redemption.
Through out the darkness and evil that is deeply embedded in this story, there is so much hope and love in the relationship forged between Ana & Dima. Dima would do absolutely anything for Ana; he offers her a safe space to be herself and feel protected.
This is a must read for dark romance readers — be aware it is DARK with many triggers (be sure to check those out before jumping in) that create an addictively emotional story. There are so many twists and turns that keep you guessing! I could not put this down once I started.
Thank you so much to A.X. Cole for the early copy!
When I first started reading this book, I wasn’t feeling it, but since I received an ARC copy, I wanted to give the author a chance. Thank you, AX Cole, for the opportunity to read this wonderful story! I have to say, I absolutely love the characters. The banter, protectiveness, and overall love they have for each other are truly wonderful.
This is a very intense story, so please check the trigger warnings before reading.
Ana experienced a turbulent childhood, but she managed to overcome her struggles with Dima's support. Their love story unfolds in a magical way, showcasing how Dima understands her needs and is always ready to protect her at all costs. Despite their rocky start, Dima is the one who falls for Ana, his "Hellion," first.
This was an ARC review, so thank you to the author for letting me read it. The book starts out with lots of trigger warnings….so beware. And although there was a lot of warnings, a lot of it was just mentions….i didn’t feel uncomfortable with a lot of the triggers. But the violence was a little more than I usually can tolerate. There was quite a few scenes with torture, and I felt I had to skip over some of it cause it was difficult to read. The relationship between the two main characters was part of the book I enjoyed. The spicy scenes were great. As well, all of the other characters in the book were really interesting. I will probably go back and start the series, as I’d love to know why some of those people end up where they are. As well, I’m always a sucker for a happy ending!
I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
Wow, I was astounded reading this book I couldn't put this book down until the very end, this story was written well and with depth and the characters were sensational. This book was about Dima and Ana and the roller-coaster ride of emotions throughout, Dima would do anything to keep Ana happy, but that wasn't always the case. It stated their friendship with revenge they delved into it together. Trigger Warnings are a must read before you continue with reading the book. There was action, danger, twist and turns, suspense, trauma, vengeance, dark romance, child abuse, intense, turmoil, electrified and more emotions throughout including love.
The fourth release for the East Coast Bratva series does not disappoint. I do think I need to negotiate that 20% though because my soul was ripped apart and I was on the edge of destruction with every twist and turn.
Ana is a force to be reckoned with and Dima is just what she needs. Ana is the messy friend with the dark backstory that can handle her own; Dima is broody and unrelenting in his ways. From their first interactions you knew their chemistry was going to be off the charts once they got there. And the twists, turns, loops, and everything in between are what really builds the relationship between Ana and Dima.
As always, check your trigger warnings. Once you’re ready to dive in, Voracious will not let you go.
Oh my gosh, I was not expecting that TWIST AT ALL!!! There are so many that I'm like twisting my neck to make sure I'm getting them all. But woah woah woah!!!!!! I was not expecting that big one but it makes so much sense!!! Now this one is a lot darker than the other books. So read trigger warnings. But man, I feel like it was perfect. Because you get to learn more about Dima past and then Ana too. But man is Ana past so sad!
This is the fourth book in the series and I will say you need to read all the books to understand this one and feel the emotions more in this one. Because I was sure crying at parts. This book is super emotional and will get you pausing more than you think. I still think it was perfected and I can't wait to read the last book in this series!!!
