In this sequel to A Thief's Bargain, the Court of Ashes saga continues on a journey fraught with mistrust, harrowing adventures, and deadly consequences as Ira and the Ironwhals discover the the lines they are willing to cross and the deeds they are unwilling to forgive.
The second book of this fantasy series is so good! I enjoyed Ira’s journey to finding her new self and Aden trying to cope and figure out how to love the new Ira. So many twists and turns at the end of this book makes me wanting book 3 asap!
Wow! I loved this book from the very beginning all the way to the end. It jumped right in where it left off and it stayed fast paced and moving through. There were two major twists for me. The first twist caught me completely by surprise and the second one had me gasping out loud as I read. I cannot wait for the third book to see where the story goes!
What a ride! The continuation of Ira’s story it’s so good. Loved the usual characters and started to like ones I didn’t in the first book. And then there’s the cliffhanger—what an absolutely brutal way to end a book! Just as the tension reached its peak, the story pulled the rug out from under me, leaving me staring at the final page in shock. This series is truly a hidden gem, and I’m so glad I stumbled upon it. It deserves way more recognition because the storytelling, world-building are amazing! Can’t wait to read the third!!!
