The Lost Witness is the ninth book in the Darcy Hunt FBI Mystery Series by Eva Sparks - I binged the entire collection which proved to be quite gripping reading. FBI Agent Darcy Hunt is not your typical crime-fiction lead ... she’s layered, haunted by past traumas, and yet still fiercely determined to seek justice. Each book plunges readers into intricate cases involving missing persons, political intrigue, and chilling criminal minds - all while weaving in Darcy’s personal struggles and evolving relationships.
Ms. Sparks’ writing shines with taut and dynamic storytelling that kept me turning pages late into the night, and yet still rich enough with emotion that made me care about the people behind the crimes. The investigative details felt authentic without bogging down the storyline/s, and the twists are clever enough to have kept me guessing.
A binge-worthy FBI thriller series that delivers both heart-pounding suspense and a heroine you’ll want to root for from book one to the latest release.

Recommend if you like mysteries. I recommend the whole series to be honest. First series I’ve actually wanted to keep reading.
Darcy is called to help find a witness that went missing. The witness Nola Walker was going to testify against someone who is a really bad person.
The characters fell easily in this book. I love the friendship Darcy and Skylar have with each other. Now Darcy and Todd just need to start dating 😉 and then I’ll be happy. Jk but really I love this series.
The way Darcy and all of the other FBI agents who went through Nola’s journal to help what was going on save 9 girls from *** trafficking.
I’m excited to read the next book to find out what happens with Toby.

The Lost Witness(Darcy Hunt FBI Mystery Suspense Thriller Book 9)
OMG!!!!!!!! This book was so fascinating and kind of scary, only if the FBI could take down an entire mafia criminal and his operation this easily. That would be amazing, I know that the book made it seem easy, but in real life it probably would take months or even years, and they would need an entire team devoted to only this, and a whole lot of luck. I can't wait to read the next book.

This book was so disappointing. Tons of plot holes, unbelievable scenarios and interviews with suspects happening in a way that would never, ever occur in real life. (Sure, guy is gonna spill his guts just because you ask him in a bathroom.) And issues from before that are NEVER brought up again (Wouldn't Lila be, um, in trouble for killing people in the past even if she was brainwashed when she did it? Patty Hearst, anyone?)

Crazy how, when I read a series, its really the characters that keep me interested. This of course a good story. Makes me want to be an FBI agent lol. I look forward to the next book. Eva Sparks is great

The characters are amazing. Her writing is fantastic, the plots are engaging, and she’s always got a big twist you never see coming.

Love Darcy Hunt & all the characters. I read this book pretty fast, now I have to wait till August for final book. I hope Darcy gets a happy ending.

Wow, Wow....
Unbelievably a very smart read. More twists and turns than any roller-coaster ride in America. Still great character's with storylines to keep you flipping pages.
