Do not recommend for anyone who has a soul or humanity.
It is all completely insane and totally unacceptable in an America that separates church and state. Only ignorant, money grubbing, racists, misogynist, uneducated, homophobic, sheep would believe this rhetoric will secure a safe America.

Furthermore, if you think any of this “project” is suitable loose my account, number, or handle. Disagreeing over gin over vodka is fine but there is no disagreement in the “isms.” If you want to work toward a better humanity you know how to reach me.

A little too nonpartisan. The book mentioned consolidating power to the executive branch could help stopping misinformation. When last this administration had power, weather forecast maps for hurricanes were scribbled over and people were told to inject bleach during the pandemic. It is obvious when power is granted these kinds of things will happen again.

Project 2025 has many different challenges. Some aspects are necessary, particularly modernizing national defense systems and capabilities. But I couldn’t help the feeling that some parts of Project 2025 border on, suspiciously, attempts in gaining, and bringing America close to a type of dictatorship, such as streamlining government and placing so much power in the executive branch. Checks and balances in our system to preserve our democracy would be greatly diminished.
I was also very uncomfortable with many of the proposed reforms, especially dismantling the Department of Education and Homeland Defense. I could keep going on about the shocking aspects of Project 2025 that I think could potentially set America back 50 years or more and put our rights, liberties and safety at risk. However, the best thing I can do is encourage others to read this book. It is very well written. The author delivered an excellent understanding of what Project 2025 proposes giving both the pros and cons of each component.
I give this book a five star because it is very informative.

This book was good at naming several Project 2025 policies and giving the pros and cons for each. I enjoyed hearing both perspectives, but I only found myself agreeing with one policy. The author did seem to cite the same examples over and over and was a little redundant. Overall, it was informative!

Informative enough… it was definitely nonpartisan but so repetitive. I’m not sure if the “in-depth analysis” part was really here. Overall, I know more about it than I did before, and I’m concerned…

Project 2025 Concise Overview

This is a great book for those who don’t have the time or attention span to read the 900+ pages of the actual document. It breaks down the plan and gives the pros and cons to allow you to think and draw your own conclusions. I would definitely recommend this book as a starting point to understanding Project 2025. As with anything, Project 2025 has good points as well as more concerning aspects. Everyone needs to do their own due diligence to determine if the pros out weigh the cons. That’s an individual decision which this book provides food for thought to get you thinking about what truly matters and what is important to you.

Reagan 2.0 for 2025. A department by department (and the key regulatory agencies) overview of what each one's mission is and usually how it has gone way off track and needs to get back to basics. Each section written by an expert in the area - often ex-cabinat secretaries who experienced the departmnt first hand. Created in response to prior conservative administrations' realizations that when you take over, cabinet positions can be little more than figureheads as the deep bureaucracy of the Federal Govt. maintains the status quo.

I would not call this bipartisan. It frequently calls out the "radical leftist agenda" and is selective in its outrage - China, DEI, abortion, climate change policy - but silent on areas such as broken healthcare, chronic gun massacres, Russia's influence and climate change for example.

Defers to congressional oversight when it suits then executive order as well. Key targets - DEI, climate change, China, anything related to abortion.

No question Federal governemnt needs streamlining, returning to basics, modernizing and accountability. It's just overlaid with a good amount of partisan language and a mostly (not always) critical view of much of what these departments do or achieve.

Don’t waste your time

I read a lot…across many genres and many themes.

I picked up this “book” because I decided I didn’t want to commit to reading the entire 900+ pages of the actual Project 2025 report, and this synopsis appeared to have some good reviews.

OMG is this book bad. It is worse than a sophomoric attempt to provide a summarized “balanced view” of the issues in the report. I never DNF a book, but I was sorely tempted to with this one. It’s not a synopsis, it’s a middle-school composition, poorly written…opening statement, obvious point and obvious counterpoint, both undeveloped…then constant repeating and redundancy, followed by a further redundant summary of the “chapter.” Sheesh this is bad.

You will learn nothing by reading this. You’d be much better off just reading 156 pages of the actual report…at least you’d be reading from the source material.

I seldom write reviews like this, and believe that being an author is hard work. I hope this “book” was simply a case of actually being “written” by a lazy person who used AI and who hasn’t learned how to write good prompts yet.

Wow, what a bad book.

It would be ideal if all American voters read some form of Project 2025 before the election to understand what the talk is all about when it comes to what the MAGA's wish list is for our government. I actually would have appreciated if the 900 pages of the original playbook was available, or if it was, it would be more easier to locate. However, be that as it may this is a general analysis of the plan. It does read more like making over the US into a government run by one person, the President and no guard rails, the elimination of very important departments and doesn't seem like it would benefit the majority of people. We must decide if we want to move forward in a democratic society or live under a dictatorship. If your future is important to you I could only suggest you read and be informed.

Should be required reading

The Project 2025 document is 900 some pages. Very few have the patience to read it or the ability to understand the jargon used. So we limit ourselves to what we hear in the media or even worse social media.

This book seems to be a very good and impartial summary. Although I find Project 2025 quite scary, there are actually a few ideas I would basically agree with; it's the potential execution that worries me.

I know it can be dangerous to take one version of something and just run with it, but I do feel that I have a better understanding now. I am also curious and ready to look at other books on the subject so I can get a good idea of what this is all about.

Make no mistake, Project 2025 worries me a lot. Now, I have a better understanding of why.

(Print edition) If readers really are reluctant to view the Heritage Foundation's comprehensively detailed plan to deconstruct the US democracy because it's "so long", then you may find this very brief and superficial (partial) summary helpful to understand some very basic intentions and ideals that the trump administration has adopted. It may be a useful teaching tool, as well, for a middle or senior high school civics class, as it presents some of the major goals of the GOP from both pro and con positions. It is hardly in-depth as marketed, and the breezy tone undermines the seriousness of this movement, decades in the making and powered by various bad actors. One would be better off reading some impartial analyses by government watchdog groups IMO. I suppose I'll go ahead and download the actual plan in full - IF it is still posted online for all to see!

Only God is perfect, so I can give an E for effort

I got the feeling that the author was trying to be balanced, but it seemed like it was hard work. The only consistent comment in Project 2025 that I read regarding the Legislative Branch was that it needs to do its job. Nothing in those 900+ pages discuss efforts to strip either of the other two branches of authority. The progressives want to destroy America. They won’t be satisfied until we are a subsidiary of Moscow and Beijing.

Project 2025

This is a rather different book than I normally read. But I think it’s important to understand what is in it, for better or worse. This book provides a balanced view of Project 2025, allowing you to draw your own conclusions. I think the warning that rings true in this book is that for Project 2025 to succeed in its vision, it will require careful and thoughtful implementation. I can’t imagine Trump having the intelligence to do that. Certainly his cabinet picks indicate that disaster awaits us.

This was definitely nonpartisan in a way I much appreciated... however, in-depth.... not so much...

Overall, I guess when they say, "Make America Great Again," they mean take us back to puritan times where we mistreated of other races, made Christianity the forefront of all thought of government and policy, and treated women and people different as though they were evil...

Sounds super!

If you’re hoping to really learn what’s in Project 2025, this isn’t going tell you very much. It completely glosses over most of the disturbing aspects, and tends to be very repetitive throughout. On a couple of occasions, I thought I had tapped the left side of my kindle and was rereading the same page…I wasn’t. It ends up over-summarizing and giving watered down pros and cons.

Quick, easy read. Each chapter reads like an essay - author makes a few points then keeps reiterating them. Balances between the pros/cons and rewards/risks of Project 2025, but very limited justification or expansion on their points. Author provides historical examples or mentions studies but very limited elaboration or expansion on those ideas and points.

A very good book for anyone wanting an overview of this project. Written in plain down to earth English. Covers the good, the bad, and the ugly of all of the aspects of 2025. It further discusses the potential results of any actions put in to effect. It is nonpartisan and freely looks at all potential out comes

Worth the read

My favorite feature of this book was just how simple it was for the average reader to understand. It answered a lot of questions and misconception i had prior to reading.

Facing the"truth "

I found a lot to agree with in this study and disagreed with some of it. I think both sides could say the same. However, I believe it is extremely important to study it carefully before the election in November.

I don’t want to be around anymore.

In all seriousness - this book felt PRETTY unbiased and gave me a deeper look into the mess we call home. It was a bit redundant throughout

The Project 2025 paper has approximately 900 pages. Few possess the patience to read it or the capacity to comprehend the terminology employed. Thus, we confine ourselves to the information disseminated by the media, or, more detrimentally, by social media.

This book appears to be an excellent and unbiased summary. While I perceive Project 2025 as rather alarming, it is the prospective implementation that concerns me.

I recognize the potential hazards of adopting a singular perspective, although I believe my comprehension has significantly improved. I am eager to explore additional literature on the issue to gain a comprehensive understanding of it.

Project 2025 causes me significant concern. I now possess a clearer comprehension of the reasons.
