The plot was amazing, and the writing style held up well throughout the story! Luci and Allesandro were such solid main characters, each thoughtfully crafted with layers of emotion and complexity. Their chemistry and banter were on point—definitely gave those true enemies-to-lovers vibes, lol! 🔥
The depth in their personalities and their journey from enemies to something so much more kept me hooked. I’d absolutely love to see books on some of the side characters too!

I simply loved this book! i read it in one sitting, I enjoyed the story, and definitely through out the book I kept wanting to know more about the other characters aswell! i will DEFINITELY be reading the next book ❤️

I love Mafia Romance!!! Alessandro and Luci's story kept me in my toes!!! The twist were so perfect and I really didn't expect them to come. Which I loved. It kept me reading and read this 500 page bad boy or ( girl) in 2 days. I am so over the moon. This book was so so good.

this book was amazing. had me in a chokehold the whole time. i loved the enemies to lovers mafia romance story. The way Alessandro would burn the world for Luci is beautiful. i never wanted to put this book down and loved reading about all the different characters. I love El , everyone needs an El in their lives. I can’t wait to continue reading this series and see if the other characters get stories too. I wish they were already out so I could keep reading.
i do feel like there was a few details in some chapters that could have been added like when luci was back with her family and all of the sudden her and elio were married. and then elio disappearing, like what happened with him? what did alessandro threaten him with? these are all little things so they don’t change my rating just things i questioned!

EDEN FANNING MISS MAAM! I absolutely loved the book. Im not going to lie I’ve never really been into an enemies to lovers trope, but i just devoured this book. The plot of this story puts you into the world of Alessandro and Luci. And the banter between all the characters are amazing and funny. I know this is the first book but maam i need more. Does Marco, El and Andrea get there own story because that would be a hell of a why choose. I sorta want to know more about Enzo as well!
I cannot describe the way i was sobbing at the end of Gia journal entries. I Also really started to feel some type of way towards Aldo at the end. It would have been nice for him to meet his great granddaughter but i guess I’ll be happy enough for the little head nod her gave at the restaurant. All and all I can’t wait too see what’s next!

To all my Mafia Romance lovers hold on to your panties there’s another morally grey book boyfriend getting ready to steal your heart and destroy your panties . Eden Fanning did a fantastic job on her first installment into this universe she has revealed there will be 5 books and a novella and I cannot wait to devour this series . I love all the characters and the relationships they have with each other. This forced marriage enemies to lovers was everything I had hoped for when starting this. Eden did an excellent job with the emotional turmoil and the guilt associated being raised a certain way. I felt emotionally connected to the characters. The ending of this book has me waiting to see what is instore for the next chapter of these characters lives.

This was a very enjoyable steamy and sexy Mafia Romance. The kind that pulls you in and maintains its hold on you.
I absolutely loved how fiercely protective the MMC was for Luci. Both of them became very easy to like in this novel as an enemies to lovers relationship. The author did a great job on the chemistry build up between the two of them.
I definitely recommend this book to all the Mafia Lovers out there like myself. Be sure to check your trigger warnings though.
Also, a huge Thank You to the author for allowing me the arc opportunity I was given.

Smoulderingly hot
A debt to pay is brilliantly written and hard to put down. Alessandro and Luci start as a business arrangement/ kidnapping but turn into a true love story.
Luci is a good girl and a people pleaser who comes into her own when faced with adversity. Alessandro is a mafia style Italian debt collector who is hard and ruthless but has a softer side waiting to be brought out.
There is plenty of drama and plenty of heat to keep you going.
Loved this story and I hope there is more in the same universe. I want to hear Marco’s story

You get really good tropes in the book from obsessed MMC to a cheeky little enemies to lovers. I was really sat when reading this book and I was consumed when reading it. The book was really easy to like because the characters were well written and the plot was just too good and the spice was the there! I can’t wait from more from Eden so I’ll be sat here on my couch waiting for the next book that gets thrown our way.

Enemies to lovers. An old family debt to pay. A young, innocent woman unaware of her family's history. This book was well written and the development of the characters was fantastic! Plus those spicy scenes! This is one of the few Mafia books I have read, not usually my thing, but it was definitely worth the read! And I cannot wait for more in the series if some of the storyline is going where I think it is!

A Debt To Pay is a spicy mafia romance with an enemies to lovers trope. This story follows Alessandro and luci. Alessandro kidnaps Luci because she is the heir that should settle the family contract. However, Luci and her family have no plans to allow this to happen. There's plenty of plot and twist with just the right amount of spice!

I’m a total Mafia book junkie, and let me tell you, this one is a gem! I devoured it in one go—seriously, I couldn't put it down! The plot had my jaw hitting the floor, and those twists? They had me perched on the edge of my seat like I was about to dive into a pool! You can bet I’ll be racing to grab the next book in this series. Oh, and fun fact: this is my first taste of Eden Fanning’s work, and I’m hooked!

This was a fun quick read! Lots of spice, a lot of twists and turns, enemies to lovers, pregnancy trope, Italian mafia of sorts. The story line was good, however, I did find the writing kind of choppy at times which is the reason it got 3.5 rather than 4 stars. Looking forward to the second book of the series ARC!

Well first off, the chemistry and banter between these 2 mc’s was A*!! Enemies to lovers at its best.
The story kept me hooked and the side characters added a extra intrigue. I can’t wait to find out more!!

Solid Enemies to lover book
This book had me captivated and hooked after the first chapter. The portrayals of characters was fantastic especially the fmc and the religious guilt she faced through the book. The banter didn’t feel forced and gave true enemies to lovers.

i’ve never hated and loved a man more than Alessandro, he gave me so many mixed emotions. Luci is AMAZING. i loved her development throughout the book, but also staying so true to herself, and her heart. i do hope that they get their little boy✨

This book was amazing. It was full of action, love, and spice. Luci and Alessandro were perfect. But El was my favorite. I can't wait to read more. This book was nothing short of perfection.
