So I'm in withdrawal mode from the last book I read. There's never the right book to read after my pirates. I'm pining and pouting and bewildered...ugh. I miss them already.

Review is for whole series.
So all five books were vastly overpriced. I just paid $17 for basically one novella, because I'm an idiot who couldn't stop reading. One-handed reading. Forceful, unwise, hot; full of brutal fucks, no lube (or condoms), and aggressive ramming. I liked this a whole bunch, despite the occasional typo.

Another serial, where it's obvious one book was just chopped up and sold separately to extort money from readers. I'm really putting my foot down and refusing to support any more of these. Having said that, I did enjoy the story and the characters and will read more about them when the complete book is inevitably sold for a single price. There are a few spelling errors (payed vs paid and crouch vs crotch), but for the most part editing is good.
This is pretty straightforward erotica, with the huge hairy bear / slim, boyish younger bottom trope. Peter and Alejandro meet at a bar and, after staring and daydreaming about Peter, whom Alex thinks he has zero chance with, Alex get the shock of his life when Peter comes over and buys him a beer. Things get hot and heavy in a dark corner real quick. I like that Peter wasn't an ass after the act and that, even though it sounded fairy tale-ish, it appears that things will work out in Alex's favor. Of course I don't know because 'Book 1' ended after the quickie sex (not in the bar, but the same night). Still, I like the author's clear writing style and enjoyed the read. The story actually ends at 64% and then you get an excerpt of 'Book 2' so, needless to say, this is very short.
One niggle - I really, really wish authors would pay attention when they use these massive height differences with their characters. If Alejandro is almost a foot shorter than Peter, who is 6'4 (which would make him 5'4), then his head cannot possibly come to Alejandro's shoulders, while they're both standing. This is basic and it always annoys me.

The title pretty much says it all ... Twink meets bear & is screwed by bear ... was smexy right up until they neglected to use a condom ... then I started feeling like the twink was being exploited & stopped enjoying the story ... I bought book 1 and 2 of this series at the same time so I'll read the next installment but I hate stories that just don't even attempt to address the issue of safe sex.

I really enjoyed this story. Although the progression was faster and not quite realistic for a virgin, it was well written, with a nice plot. Also part of a series, so I'd be interested to see where it leads.
I really liked Alex; he came across as a loveable character and Peter was a refreshing surprise.

I had trouble with Peter taking Alex's virginity in a jeep on the side of the road, and I'm pretty sure he was wearing a condom when they started, but by the end of the sex scene, he was bare?! But I enjoyed it, so I'm continuing with the series.

Hi everyone, Its Christopher the reader here and the we are here to talk about tonight is Bent Over. This book is the first in the series. I read this book for the first time in February and it took me a day to finish reading. I am now going to talk about some of the books details. It was rated for readers aged as mature for readers 18 and up, and was first published on the 1st of November in 2012. It was told using 1st person with it being in Alex's point of view. All together the book had 28 kindle reading pages.
-I thought the book was written well. I loved how the book started and that we didn't have to wait until a long time for the book to dive into the story. It didn't feel like I was just meeting the characters for the first time, it had a quite a bit of detail about the main character without it getting too infor dumpy. The characters just felt realistic, I also thought that it had some good character detail which I love in books. I liked in this book that it included safe sex while doing a bit of research I discovered that doesn't continue on for much longer. It sounds like a whole conversation is going to happen on explaining why safe sex is so important and I as a reader feel that its important for books to discuss this as well.
When reading I did notice a few mistakes, like with spelling, missing words in some sentences and where the book accidentally repeated the same word again. There was also a few mistakes with people talking with them only having the ending quote mark and not at the start as well. I do find short read series books a bit annoying as the books are not all together so you have to open and close books every few pages in to read next one. With this one I was happy, I like that with this short read series that a buddle was made when the series was first published which am really happy about. Its under the name: A Boy and His Bear.
- I really liked Alex's friends, they seemed really caring. I hope that they are also in the other books so that we get to met them again and also for us to maybe get to know them a little more.
- After reading this book i do think that I will probably will be carrying on with the other books in the series. I would like it if this book gets turned into an audible book as personally when I listen and read along I find that I gain a deeper experience with the book

PWP, which was fine, except that it made me a bit uncomfortable with how the top behaved. These are novellas, nothing too much for development:

I kept skipping over this spicy short because of that awful cover, but am glad to have finally given it a chance. Alex's narrative voice is perfect, he sounds just like a geeky 18 year old. Like any hardened adult there were times where I was thinking "what the heck are you doing/thinking!". It's all new for Alex, the magic of being wanted by a man who seems beyond his league. Alex's young insecurities are sweet and his yearning palpable. Peter has pretty words and sexy touches for him but gets a little rough (much to Alex's delight) when thinks really get going. Alex is a virgin but is swept up in the moment. Is Peter only interested in a quickie? The story is very short quite hot--perfect for a breaktime read or before bed thrill. This is a freebie leading into a whole series about Alex and Peter (looks like a little dominance comes later on).

Alex is a sweet 18 year old twink who has the hots for an older bad boy twink. Once he finally gets what he wants the story basically ends. There is a crap ton of grammatical errors in this book. I got this book free so I won't complain about that, but I won't be reading on to the other books because they are ridiculously priced for such few pages.

It was good.
There were a few inconsistencies in the storyline and some of the sentences didn't flow when read, but I still thought it was worth the effort to see it through.
