This is my first BDSM series and I'm in love!!

Master lives on an island with his beloved "pets". Visitors come to the island for a sexually, liberating vacation. Jessica is sent on this vacation unknowingly by her cheating husband in an effort to "teach" her so he can "stop" cheating on her.

Despite her husband's betrayals, Jessica does not expcet to fall in love with Master and take on the role of Mistress, developing her sexual freedom.

3.75 out of 5. Erotica, pure and simple. The story is layered among the many erotic scenes which take place on Master Drake's island. Jessica is hurting and discouraged, beaten down and unsure if her marriage can survive the repeated infidelities of her husband. He sends her to Master's island in order to free her up sexually, but the tables are turned on him. Master falls in love with Jessica and she with him, along with realizing her own sexual freedom and acceptance of all kinds of expression between men and women. The story moved along well, and the author certainly kept a balance between the primary and secondary characters. However, I was terribly disappointed in some of the editing and in the many grammatical errors I found in the narrative. Not really trying to be picky, but they were very distracting and some were so elementary that I was surprised that an author of Ms Roux's experience would countenance such misuse of tenses and good sentence construction. Yes, the story is most certainly the thing. But a good use of the language can enhance the story while misuse and poor grammar take away from what could be a really, really good story. I will continue to enjoy this author, but I do wish her books were edited more vigorously.

Loved the intro into this series. It maybe a little overboard with the use of Master, yet it is written in a tasteful manner. A lot of M/F, M/F/M, F/F and yes some M/M. What else can you expect from an island of Master and his pets. Looking forward to bk 2 in series.
