Happy and sad in equal measures

I felt at times I was reading my own teenage story. Vespers grasp on the world and her emotions are so raw at times. I could not put this book down and read it over 2 night shifts. Ambrose in his animosity and Vespers fear is tangible at first but when the lines start to blur and you know there will be no happy ending I was still unprepared. I picked this as a "filler" book while waiting for another to be released and I'm really glad I did.
