Rate this book
Lalani had just found her birth mother in the secluded town of Wyvern when the change hit. Her joy quickly turned to tears when Lalani lost her to an accident before they could really get to know each other. A clash with a neighboring family makes her withdraw into the big, lonely house. She’s not coming out for anything.

Known for his ties with nature, Khadar has taken on the additional role of assisting the townspeople with growing food to sustain them. When he appears at the first gathering featuring some of the crops grown in the community garden, he discovers the most desirable treat of all—his mate.

Change has come to Wyvern. A centuries-old pact between the founders and their powerful allies could save the inhabitants of the city once again, but only a dragon Daddy can truly guard his mate from harm.

Loving these Dragon Series, Lalani was hiding in her mother’s she wanted no part of the party the town was having & thought the summon to attend was fake and another ploy for the next door neighbors to get her out of her house & lock her out. The Petersons’ have not only been harassing Lalani but everyone in the neighborhood. The heads of the council of Wyvern came to get Lalani & other single maidens that did not come to the ball freely. Lalani brings the party to a stop when the men bring her & she sense khadar before she sees him. They are mates once again he was the only dragon Lalani is number 4 Ciel & Aurora come to her aid until Khadar can get to her. Ciel & Aurora are happy for another friend but sad that Keres the black dragon did not find his mate. Lalani finds it perfect that khadar is a green dragon, for her best friend lettuce is green, who she needs to get from her mothers home before going with her mate. The dangers are getting closer to wyvern and the dragons & comes to light that the Peterson’s are behind developing a powder bomb that can do harm to the Dagons. Lalani finds out more history of her family by Elenore Battlefield. The story ends with Keres dropping into the harvest festival carrying 3 people who he found trying to sneak over the boarder saying they were from wyvern one was Lalani brother she found she from Elenor, the other was Elenor’s grandson & Sky the college girl who was already gone when the dragon went pick her up. We are left with Sky asking for paper she needs to draw the Dragons now; Lalani runs to get her tablet she brought to make rubbings of the mates from the past engraved on the steps in the square; she has a feeling that this is important and just maybe she was the mate Ardon or Oldrik’s. Sadly Keres shakes his head as ardon demand him to introduce him to Sky.
I look forward to this series being completed for I will read the stories together.

Lalani just wanted to know her birth mother and be left alone. When she was taken to be part of the claiming, she didn’t know what was going on. With the help of Ciel and Aurora’s help, she found friends and learned about the dragons or Wyvern. Khadar knew his mate when he saw her. She was a precious gift and needed to be cared for. But he had to protect her from her evil neighbor, Barbie Ann and her family. I can’t believe that they just figured to steal everything from her home. With help from other dragons, that stopped. But we still have other humans trying to harm the dragons and creating a new type of device. It’s sad that they can’t see the help the dragons are giving to those people. Lalani learns about having a daddy and being loved. I do love that her stuffy is called lettuce. That is so cute. Khadar is temptation for her and their chemistry just sparks. Their connection is hot and fun. We learn more about the tomes as well as Lalani’s past. There is a happy part at the end about finding other family members missing. But we still have other dragons that need to find their mate like Keres the black dragon. He brings a new female to the village, Skye. She is a gifted artist. With Ardon and Oldrik among the dragons present, who will be her mate?

Dragons what wonderful creatures. God, I wish sometimes that these fantasies could be real. I thought the first two were sweet, caring and hot ... I mean the silver (Argenis) and gold (Drake) dragons were demanding right out of the first few paragraphs. In walks Khadar, was the green knight focused on his damsel and swept Lalani off her feet and vowed to protect. It's a feel-good story of fate. My heart hurt and feared for Lalani, the neighbors she had were terrifying, to come home to your birth mother, not knowing the history of Wyvern and to be forcefully taking where you didn't want to go, to find out your part of the bigger picture. Will it work, will she except, will he be mean or to demanding? You'll just have to read and find out. Pepper pulls you in with all the feels, I couldn't put the book down read it within hours. Great word building, great character development. And let me say she left me wanting the next book, who's next, what will happen. Will it be Ardon, Oldrik or Keres ... maybe it will be two of them. Dragons and humans - creatures of their own devices, and when together WOW!

I am seriously loving this new series that Pepper North has produced. I have always loved a dragon story, and this series is just brilliant. Lalani has just returned to Wyvern, a town that is protected by dragons, and now that all technology has stopped, the job is to protect the townspeople from outsiders, also to find their mates. Lalani came to meet her birth mother only for her to pass not long after meeting her.

There is a town meeting where every citizen must attend, only for her to meet Khadar who is her fated mate. The story gets very exciting and she grows to love her mate it’s not all sunshine and roses, there is danger involved but the most exciting is her learning that she has a half brother, Derek Lowe who shows up just at the end of the story. He is accompanied by Brooks Battlefield and a young lady Skye, who feels it is important to draw all the dragons she can find. Could she be another mate?

I was given an advanced copy of this book to read and I am reviewing with my honest and fair opinion.

This is the third book in the Fated Dragon Daddies series, and it is Khadar’s story. Once again Pepper North has penned an addictively entertaining read with wonderful characters. Like his predecessors, Khadar is seeking his mate. Lalani is a woman who has come to Wyvern to meet her biological mother. Unfortunately, she passed in a car accident shortly after her arrival. As is customary for the area, there are meetings held which everyone must attend. Not one to join in, Lalani is forcibly removed from her home and thrust into the meeting room. Fortunately, she meets two women who befriend her, and she meets Khadar, her mate. Through her relationship with Khadar, Lalani learns about being loved. The chemistry between them is hot like firecrackers that continuously spark. Overall, Khadar and Lalani are two peas in a pod that you just cannot get enough of. This book has all the feels, and I cannot wait for the next book!

Lettuce to the rescue

I love this third book in the Fated Dragon Daddies series.
Lalani came to Wyvern to meet her mother, and soon after looses her. Now she is alone, living in her mother's house and trying to be safe.
Forced attendance of a gathering sees her coming to the attention of Khadar, he sees her and knows she is his mate.
The mate bond is strong immediately, and this is a lovely tale of understanding, friendship, and love.
The wider story arc is expanding, and treats are starting to come to the fore, not just to Wyvern, but much further afield.
The story is carefully crafted, full of passion, heat, pain, and understanding.
I am loving this world and look forward to the next tale.
I highly recommend this book, series, and author.

Khadar the green dragon discovers his mate Lalani when she is dragged to a Wyvern event. She wasn't raised here and doesn't know the history and lore. All she knows is she found her birth mother, only to lose her and for the world to come to a stop. Lalani is immediately taken under the wings of the other mates. I liked how Khadar was willing to be slow, but still make sure she knew he was her mate and he was always going to be there to protect her. The jealous neighbor story was odd, but the discovery of the tunnels and the connections of the original families was cool. So was the return of the people at the end of the story. What's next? I can't wait to find out.

Dragon shifter stories are some of my favorites and especially when they are Daddy Dragons. Lalani and Khadar are mates and it's going to take her a bit to get use to that idea. I loved their connection and how patient Khadar was with her. The story is fairly short but has enough substance to keep the reader totally invested in it. There is some drama but it's not overwhelming. Also loved seeing characters from previous stories show up and more dragons who will be getting their stories in the future. This was just a fun read and if you like dragon shifter who are Daddies, then I highly recommend this book and the previous two books!

This book from the Fated Dragon Daddies series is by far my favorite. I really enjoyed how the story flowed between Lalani and Khadar, and how their romance blossomed. I'm also enjoying finding out more about the world after the loss of technology, and the steps taken in Wyvern to protect everyone by the dragons. I can't wait to read the rest of the dragons stories in finding their mates.

Please note that I did receive an ARC of this book and the opinions expressed in this review are my own.

Lalani and Khadar may just be my favorite couple so far. I loved Khadar's gentleness and humor, both things that Lalani needs. Not only is she having to deal with the end of technology like everyone else she is having to deal with the grief of losing both her adoptive parents and her birth mom. Not to mention horrible neighbors. Lalani has such a pure, sweet heart. The Dragon Daddy series is so good, just the right amount of action, heat and romance. I have fallen in love with the Dragons.

This is the newest addition to Pepper North's Dragon Daddies series. It features Khadar and Lalani. They might just be my favorite couple in the series so far. The book was well written and has that sorta distopian romance feel to it. The characters have alot of personality and don't fall flat as some quick reads tend to do. All in all it was a great addition to the series and I can't wait to see what comes next.

This is an awesome book and another great addition to this kink, PNR series. I loved Khadar and Lalani story. Intense feelings and emotions are skillfully combined with drama, twists, danger, action, sweetness and steam to create an engaging and fast paced read that definitely has you happily getting your read on and getting the swoon you crave while leaving you excited to continue the series so you can see what comes next.

I'm really enjoying this series, and as of today this one is my favorite. I loved the way Khadar cherishes and cares for Lalani. I loved the sweet progression of their romance mixed with the danger surrounding them. The world building is fantastic, and the friendships that are building between the characters as a group were amazing. I love the feeling of the community and the way they're fighting to protect their world. I can't wait for the next one.

Who is Lalani, and why was she drug out of her home one night? Who are the Petersons? I could not stand them. What is the colorful smoke, and what is it meant to do? This was a sweet read. I enjoyed reading Khadar's story with Lalani. Who are Brooks, Lowe, and Skye? How does their showing up change things? What things do we learn about the Wyvern town this time in this story? I was surprised at some of what we learned and how Lalani was able to be kidnapped. Read and see!

I absolutely adored this book. Khadar and Lalani had a very special connection and while that was addressed, there wasn't any more talk of it. I feel like that will be a huge thing in a later book. It was so easy to start, continue, and finish this book in just a few hours. I love it when stories flow so easily, you don't even notice what little time passes. I am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another magical story by Pepper North. Each book in this series only gets better. Get ready for an amazing tale about dragons, but not just dragons, dragon Daddies. Prepare as they find their mates and fight to keep them safe in a world now turned upside down. You will love the characters as much as they love each other.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, Dragon Daddies are the best Daddies! Khadar is the the third dragon to find his mate and what a mate she is! I adored Lalani and her knack for getting into (good) trouble. She certainly enjoyed keeping her mate on his toes and he loved every second of it! This book is a keeper. I’m giving KHADAR the judy.ann.loves.books stamp of approval, TBR and Enjoy!

This is book three of The Fated Dragon Daddies. Lalani returned to Wyvern before the upheaval to meet her birth mother, who is a resident of Wyvern. Her mother is killed in a car accident before she can explain much about the city and their dragon protectors. Lalani is dragged to the gathering and Khadar, the green dragon, meets his Little. I liked the story and look forward to the next book.

Khardar is the green dragon looking for his fated mate. He's lucky all the coincidences align for him to find Lalani. But there are always surprises along the way.
This was my favorite story so far and I look forward to the other dragons stories.
If you've ever read a Pepper North book than you know it's a Daddy/Little story and always a HEA.

Khadar

This could be a post apocalyptic tale, full of danger and strife. Pepper decided to concentrate on the power of love and dragons instead. Lalani came to Wyvern to find her birth mother but lost her to an accident. Kissed saves her from nasty neighbors and here we go! Such a good fantasy book!

Pepper North is seriously one author that helps me feel like is okay to be protective by someone. This book has a daddy who isn't afraid to get a little dirty to protect his little. Also protective daddy to a little is a weakness of mine. A fiery daddy protecting his little is a biggest weakness of mine.

I'm really enjoying the Fated Dragon Daddies series! I have to admit that it's getting easier regarding their past mates each time.

Lalani & Khadar are so good together! I loved how sweet and gentle Khadar was at the beginning with Lalani. Lalani was new to Wyvern, and the explanations were great.

I can't wait to see the other dragons get their fated mates!

Khadar and Lalani were both interesting to read about. I am glad that Lalani was able to find a place to belong and Khadar was the right dragon for her. I loved that we get to find out new things about different colored dragons and they all do everything in their power to keep mates safe. I also love that the end of the book leads into the next dragons story and can't wait to grab and devour it.

Lalani knows nothing about the history of her town or that she is a potential mate for a dragon, so is a bit surprised when he finds her. The story, a standalone in a series, is well written, love the characters, and already look forward to the next!

I received an ARC and freely offer this review.

This is a great addition to this relatively new series. Khadar and Lalani are perfect. This is emotional, in places, dangerous and exciting, in others. Fated mates, powerful connections and dragons make this a winner, for me.

Khadar brings us into the new reality of a tech free existence. The dragons have hope as two of their number have found their mates and now Khadar has found his as well. This installment has us wondering just who is at the top of the food chain. I look forward to the next installment.
