In the middle of this book I was very bored and somehow had a hard time understanding the sentences, I had to read them twice, so I decided that maybe the writing style of the author as well as the plot isn’t interesting to me anymore . But after a break from this book the story got so exciting (as always towards the end) and it was very easy to read. After Zhemin finally discovered that this disgusting bastard Gu Yushen is stealing his Qi and got it back I was all ears! Even though Zhemin has a bit a sadistic tendency, I found it extremely satisfying how he threatened Gu Yushen. The final fight against the two serpent demonds in the water was exciting af, my pulse eccelerated! The main villain of this volume Cho Junzi revealing his feeling towards Xiao Wen so publically out of fear for Wen’s life was so surprising and got my feet kicking. The politics of the world are also finally getting clearer and thrilling and am I smelling romantic feelings blossoming between Zhemin and his Yifu? I love hints the author gives us about their feelings. I expected less considering this book is produced in Russia.
