Ten Kisses: A Romance

Rate this book
Molly had a casual kissing agreement with Salem. She had never done anything like that before, but Salem was a gorgeous specimen of a man who wasn’t looking for a relationship, so she settled for the occasional meaningless kiss.

There was never any promise of a future with him. They simply shared a casual kiss every now and then when they found themselves alone. She was positive she could continue that relationship with him and not develop any feelings.

She was so very wrong.

I always get Brooke's books as soon as they come out and usually can read them in a day. They are light-hearted and fun and feel-good. I love her characters and the way their relationships develop. Ten Kisses did not disappoint. I enjoyed Salem & Molly's story and the friends-to-more nature of it. It was as though they were blindsided and then had to deal with adjusting their minds to this new discovery that they did, in fact, have feelings for each other. I like the way Brooke weaves in faith in her stories in a way that is relatable to your daily life. I can't wait to see what happens with Sara. I hope she's next!

Better than the last book in the series, definitely didn't give me "written by AI". I really appreciated Salem's character, I loved him praying for guidance, being thoughtful and level headed, just a sound good guy.I thought for sure I would give this at least a 3.5 when I was halfway through but it took a few turns that really got on my nerves. Firstly, Molly's sister Sara, who I believe would be the main character of the next book, was insanely annoying and selfish about Molly and Salem being together. I mean it was really outrageous and actually made me nearly hate Sara, she wasn't mean about it but very pitiful and complained about it too much. Then there was a bit more opposition about them being together from another family member; it just took away from the book. I also didn't like the whole "situation" with Molly's landlord and how that turned out. The ending did feel rushed to me as well.

So cute!

Ten Kisses was such a cute book! My only complaint is it sort of ended--not including the epilogue--with no resolution. Molly is completely adorable, and I really wish her Molly's Chocolates was a real business to buy from. Salem is a total stand-up guy, and I loved how he cared for Molly. I loved those scorching kisses all while keeping it clean. Thanks for another great book, Brooke!!

The worst part about reading this book is waiting for the next one. Seriously! lol.

I loved Molly and Salem's story. There were many swoon-worthy moments, and that's what I love about Brooke's books in general. They are an auto-read for me. Her characters always have the chemistry/ tension I love in a book.

Oh how I love Molly and Salem. What a perfect pair. I'm not sure I can ever pick a favorite BSJ couple because every story as just as good as the previous ones. I love how Salem came to realize his love for Molly all the while Molly quietly loved him all along. Love her writing style, another 5 star!

I liked this book even though there were a few weird impediments to their being together and then a really odd neighbor. Molly and Salem are good together and it's good to see the rest of the family and how they're doing. Clean romance, Christian themes, lots of fun moments.

Very enjoyable book!

Molly is trying to start a Chocolate candy store from her apartment. Salem is a construction worker and is asked from Molly to give her an estimate for a display counter. Thus starts an interesting relationship and exciting story.

Christian Romance

Salem has spiritual experiences that he is to marry one girl but ends up with a different girl. They have a non-commital kissing pact. Eventually it becomes more.

3* I’m a big fan of BSJ. This book was not my favorite. To me, the plot was lacking in romance.
