I’m obsessed with her. She’s mine … she just doesn’t know it yet. They say I’m a sociopath, but Ivy makes me feel like I’m worth something. She’s the only one to see past the fake smile that hides how dead I am inside. Ivy is an incredible nurse to my sister and a loving single mom. Which is exactly why she should fear me, because while she saves lives, I end them. And she would, if she discovered I’ve been stalking her, like a man possessed. Because as the club’s Enforcer, I protect what’s mine. Ivy needs to take sanctuary at the club with her daughter, and I vow to keep them safe. In return, she thinks she can save my tortured soul and heal what’s broken inside me. But I know better. I’ve already sinned too much to be saved. She can’t change my violent past. My dangerous life. Or the fact that I’m damaged beyond repair. But if she wants my heart, I’ll carve it out for her, because I’m not afraid of pain or death. There’s only one thing left in life that scares me … Losing Ivy.

Demon/Jett who is an enforcer for the War Brothers MC meets a bright cheerful nurse at his vegetative sister’s bedside in the hospital. Demon is complete darkness and the demon in him oozes everything nightmares are made of. Not many get close to him because of his mental state but when it comes to children, he’s a different man.
This author did a fantastic job writing Jett and Ivy’s story which brought so much heartache along with so much perseverance. Ivy wasn’t giving up on Jett and her daughter Sammy loved Jett. When Ivy’s ex puts her and her daughter in danger Jett will do anything to protect them.
I absolutely loved this book with how Ivy never gave up on the man she loved and how Jett was able to finally open his heart. I recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
This was a sweet, short, and quick read for me. The author gave enough backstory for the characters to have some sense of self. While the romance part was alright, I wouldn't say it is a romantic book. Imo, this was just a story of two people struggling with their problems, helping each other, and finding a safe place in each other. The synopsis makes it sound like it's a dark, possessive, extremely steamy kind of book, but not really (for me at least. OR maybe I've read too many trashy/ smexy books that this didn't do much for me.) The last chap was my favorite, though.
While I found it odd that a woman trying to put the danger surrounding her ex in the rear view mirror would be actively pursuing a self-proclaimed dangerous man, I like Ivy Clarke and the impact she has on Jett "Demon" Miller. Of course, his determination to protect her and her daughter, Sammy, goes a long way in all that. He may not be explicit about what he does for the club and tries to physically shield her from it, I like that he doesn't hide it.
He must be part of a motorcycle club. He’s radiating don’t-fuck-with-me vibes and screams red flags, but he’s sexy nonetheless. -- Ivy Clarke
The steamy times are hot, dirty, and raw, but it is the tender moments that really sell this couple. Add in Jett's general fondness for children, and I'm a goner.
I haven't read anything in this series or from this author before now. I really like it and expect to be back for more for this MC and maybe more. 😍
I received an author's copy of the audio book. The narrators, Lance Isley and Mikaela Del Rey, are good choices. I like them and look forward to more of their work. 🎧🩷🎧
The men of War Brothers MC may roar like lions when it comes to protecting their own but around their women and children they are pussycats. No one hurts those that are precious to them.
Demon, who doesn't like adults, but then again, they tend to give him a wide berth anyway, gets on better with children, they don't judge, they just accept. He'll protect those who are innocent, something he couldn't do for his sister.
Ivy is starting a new job, in a new hospital, in a new town because she had to get away from her no-good gambling ex. This is where she meets Demon. Demon doesn't want to like this ray of sunshine, but there is something about her that draws him in, she keeps his darkness at bay. When loan sharks come after Ivy because of her ex's gambling debt, Demon will protect Ivy and her daughter Sammy with his life.
Ivy can't believe she is falling for this hardened biker when all those around her tell her to be wary, but she sees what's beneath the surface, his pure heart, that puts others before himself, willing to step up and be the father that Sammy never had.
I enjoy this series of books, I can't wait for the next one to be released, so I'm counting down the days!

I have been so fortunate to read this series of books as ARC's, and they have just gotten better with each story. This book came to me from the author, through Book sirens, and I thank them both. Demon, also known as Jet, to those who need to know his real name, has had it tough. He's a completely heartless, stone cold, unfeeling , killing machine, and he loves what he does. Ivy on the other hand, despite being treated badly by her ex, is sweet, kind, caring and loving, everything Demon isn't. Ivy and her daughter Sammy are new in town, hiding from the ex and his ever present troubles. But when he finds out where Ivy is, he comes looking for her, wanting her to get him out of trouble. When things get nasty, Demon and the boys step in. I really enjoyed this installment in the War Brothers MC, and owww looking forward to Twitch's story! Keep up the good work, these books are just getting better all the time.
I am beyond happy for Demon/Jett and his story with Ivy!! It’s like watching a sunflower turn its head towards the sun: she’s his light, his damaged soul’s purpose, and his heart’s desire in the flesh! I love the emotional connection between them and it’s such a turn on when a sexy ‘scary’ man is a magnet for kids! Bianca Lee Ward is one of my favorite authors and the War Brothers MC is a fantastic series.
Ivy sees him and uses her innate goodness to include him into her life. Their attraction is much more than skin deep, he’s protective of her and her daughter, and his relationship with his brothers and their women becomes even stronger as they see him open up to Ivy. It’s truly inspiring that someone they thought they knew is capable of showing their true self!! Loved it and being back in the MC!!I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I fell in love with these men and their women are just a bunch of sweethearts! So of course I was looking forward to Demon's story, perhaps because he has been the most mysterious of the bunch or maybe because his dark soul spoke up, but I must admit I loved the romantic part of the storyline. Ivy was an odd match, sweet, naïve but a great human overall.
Demon and Ivy are a totally unpredictable couple, but it works. I loved Sammy and "hanging out" with the gang.
The story seemed familiar because it's somehow similar to the previous books in this series, but to me it was shorter and weaker, since the story about Ivy's ex made little sense to me.
However I love these series so I'm totally ready for Twitch story now!
This was such a great book to read, just wow comes to mind. What I love about these men is that they usually don't think they are worthy of having any women to love them. Then that special women comes along and that spark inside them is ignited.
In this case its Demon who has his own personal demons and uses that rage as Enforcer for his club. His sister is in hospital in a vegetative state, and this is where he meets Ivy. Ivy is a mother of one a cute little 5 year old, but they are always on the run from her ex as he is always trying to find her, to pay off his gambling debts.
Demon and Ivys story is just so good, Demon is so good with little kids, they just love him, however its Ivy who gets to him, she is his light to his darkness and he will be there to protect her at any cost!
I love a good MC romance and Bianca did not disappoint! This is book 5 in the War Brothers MC Series.
Ivy is a single mom to her adorable daughter Sammy...She works as a ICU nurse and that's how she meets Jett "Demon" while she is caring for his sister. Ivy is running from trouble her ex drew her into😳
Jett "Demon" is a psychopath who is an enforcer for the MC. He does not feel things like others so it's a surprise to him and his brothers when he gets so attached to Ivy and Sammy. It's actually funny seeing Jett trying to process these feelings😂
Jett is determined to keep them safe! Will Ivy's trouble prove to be to much for him or will he get his own little family out of this!
I would definitely recommend this if you like MC romance. There is no cheating or other woman drama.
This is my first book by this author and I really enjoyed it. I found the writing flowed easily, the storyline was interesting, the characters were great, and the emotional drama and suspense kept me flipping through the pages. Demon/Jett was a great character - I love a tortured male who falls quickly and will do anything to protect what is his. Ivy was a wonderful mother and I loved that she was educated and had a good soul. Overall, I enjoyed this read! I was sent a copy and these are my thoughts about this book.
Ivy moved away from an ex that had a gambling problem with loan sharks and when they couldn’t get the money from him, he sent them to get it from her. She gave them the money and moved away to Crown Village. She only told her BFF so she wouldn’t worry and advised her not to tell anyone. Her first day on the job, she sees a handsome tattooed broody looking man on the elevator and while everyone else keeps their distance from him, for some reason, she is not afraid.
The next time they see one another is in the ICU when Ivy walks into his sister’s room as her nurse, right way they introduce themselves and Jett/Demon remembers her from the elevator. Ivy is immediately attracted to him and senses that underneath the rough demeanor he wants people to see, she feels he is so much more. Both have suffered things, Jett more than Ivy, but he wants to protect her and her young daughter and that is what he does, even when she is not aware of him doing so. Jett was a protector when it came to the MC and especially to his sister, it was very heartwarming and although he thought of himself as a monster, underneath it all was a kind heart. While his upbringing was not ideal, he carried a lot of guilt that he was not there to protect his mother and sister when they needed him most.
Trouble finds Ivy when said BFF tells her husband who in turn tells the gambling ex and when trouble comes to town… Demon is ready for them and will do whatever it takes to protect the mother & daughter. This story was told at a great pace, and I loved how Ivy slowly crept into Jett’s heart and while he still stayed in his “monster character”, he slowly let Ivy and Sammy into his heart, and it was perfect!
Bianca is one author you don’t want to sleep on; this series just keeps getting better and I hope when the series is finished, we get a final book to wrap up all the characters and their families as I really would like to see where this couple and all the rest end up in the present day!
Thank you to Bianca Lee Ward and NetGalley for giving me the opportunity to read this ARC!
In all transparency, this book is my first book that is completely focused on a motorcycle club. I wasn’t sure what to expect aside from stereotypes about bikers.
This book surprised me. I enjoyed the dynamic between Jett and Ivy. It had all the vibes - especially touch her and die and he’s only soft for her. I also loved Jett’s interactions with children. The parts with Jett and Sammy were SO cute.
I like the world Bianca Lee Ward built in the motorcycle club. The good they do. I realize several stories have already been told in the club (I’m interested in checking them out!). And I will definitely check out Twitch’s story (LOVE a smart MC).
If you enjoy the following, you’ll enjoy this book: -motorcycle romance -dark romance -mental health rep -touch her and die -single mom nurse FMC x sociopath biker MMC -found family -he’s only soft for her (and hard too I guess? Haha)
The story of Jett Miller aka Demon and Ivy and her daughter Sammy. Ivy who is in a relationship where she is used and abused. Her husband is a gambler and has ruined her life and that of their child. Ivy runs away and tries to start a new life. And then she meets Jett aka Demon. Demon is the enforcer of the MC club, but he turns out to be more. Jett believes he is not worthy of being loved for the things he has had to do to survive. But Ivy tries to show him that he is worth it, that she trusts him and wants to go for their love. I thought it was beautifully written and it certainly made me curious about the stories of the other club members.
“Sometimes even the devil wants a taste of heaven.”
This is my first book by this author, but damn was it good. It’s a short one but I’m glad the author resisted the urge to pad the pages and draw it out like a bad soap opera. The story flowed well and had lots of action. The only thing I deducted on this one is something about Demon/Jett irked me a little. I can’t quite put my finger on it… almost like he was not a sociopath trying to force himself to act like a sociopath. I don’t know….. but other than whatever that weird brain itch was, I loved it.
"Forever won't be long enough with you" I was hooked from the start and Ivy and Demon's story was quite a wild ride. Were they truly opposite's or had Demon just closed everyone off for so long? It's a great read to find out. I am so enjoying this series and how it is family above all else with the MC. The secondary characters are wonderful and Sammy just stole the show throughout the book with her sassy little self. I am very much looking forward to the next book in this series. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
I truly loved reading Jett’s story. He was such an odd character and now with his story we get to see who he really is. I loved every second of this book and, as always, I loved the continuation of the previous couples being in the story. I am so excited to finally get Twitch and Millie’s story next.
Another fantastic read. This time we get to explore Demon, the psycho with no qualms about killing or torturing someone. Somehow Ivy and her daughter manage to get through the thick outter and make their way into his heart. Ivy is obviously the right woman for Demon as she shows no fear of him, just desire.
Ivy and Demon are total opposites who come meet and come together when they meet at hospital, where Ivy works and Demon visits his sister.
Even though they are total opposites the chemistry is off the charts. When Ivy’s past comes back for her Demon will stop at nothing to protect Ivy and her daughter.

This was the first book of this series that I read. Ivy upending her life because of her ex threw me off in the beginning. The story line was rushed earlier on yet started evening out midway through. Demon with his unfortunate past makes him mysterious and he definitely came across as hot and sexy! I only wanted more spice These two characters were a unexpected mismatch that really worked!! I will be going back to read the previous books.
What a great HEA book. It is a quick read with a good plot and great character build. I love how Ivy was able to break through Demon so that he learned he could be loved and love in return. The characters are so loveable. I can't wait to read the next one about Millie.
Demon/Jett and Ivy’s story has them meeting at the hospital where is sister is, and where she just started working as a nurse at. She had to move from her prior location due to her ex’s gambling and having the loan sharks come after her for the money he owes. When her ex finds out by her BFF’s husband where she is at, the ex comes to get money from her but instead get a dose of Demon and the War Bro MC. Demon is stalking Ivy to keep her safe and when the ex comes to town he put her up at the Clubhouse. She sees past his outer core to the man beneath and likes what she sees. And he can go thru anything but losing her and her daughter, Sammy. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.
This is a great story. I absolutely loved how Ivy never gave up on the man she loved and how Jett was able to finally open his heart. I recommend this book and I can’t wait for the next book in this series.
Loved it!! Loved reading Demon. Once I started reading Ivy and Jett’s (Demon) story I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. Their story was action packed and the chemistry between them was steamy HOT. I love this series and each book gets better and better. I can’t wait for the next book Twitch which is Milly and Twitch’s story!!
This is the 5th book in this series and it didn’t disappoint. Ivy and Demon are opposite ends of the personality spectrum but their relationship works well. A gripping, well written storyline .

This is a dark, intense MC romances with obsessive antiheroes and emotional stakes. It’s twisted, raw, and a bit unhinged, but with just enough emotion to hook you.
Ivy moves to crown village with her little girl to get away from her ex and his gambling, she gave him the last of her savings to pay his debts and keep his life but she’s done . Demons sister is moved to the icu in the hospital she works in and she’s her nurse, they strike up a kind of friendship. Demon is obsessed with Ivy and is stalking her but it’s a good job he is as he saves her when heavy’s come for their money that her ex has told them she has. Demon becomes the good guy
Wow! Demon’s story was so deep. I adored both Ivy and Demon/Jett. Their connection was instant and developed so naturally. Hot passion and intense chemistry. Add in a cute little one and it’s a winner.

Holy tears. I will say I might have ugly cried a time or two with Demon and Ivy’s story. There was so much to this story and couple. I this story was a complex and emotional. I absolutely need more.
