I love this book because it has such unrelated and random words on each page. It's really good for babies to hear different words. This is fun to talk through with an infant and to use as they get older and can identify things as well. It's fun to be able to share this book with my son that I had when I was the kid.
An adorable picture book featuring an animal on each page engaging in an activity. Each scene has different parts labeled that correlate with the designated letter. This is one of the parts about this particular book I like most; modern books tend to list only one item with the correlating letter of the alphabet. A great selection for children to learn their alphabet and expand their vocabulary.
I keep buying these Cyndy Szekeres books because they are so familiar to me, but I really can't pinpoint which of these my family had when we were younger. There's always at least one image that seems familiar, but surely we didn't have this many! Many of her books seem like clear Richard Scarry rip-offs, but to be honest, I kind of prefer her illustrations. They're really cute.
This book reminds me of a simplistic toddler version of "Animalia." It has simple pictures with labels for all the things on each page that start with each corresponding letter.
