As the tech head and security specialist for Devil’s Rose MC, Wire has one keep his brothers safe. His military past and PTSD make him fiercely protective and intensely focused. When an allied club requests help training a hacker, Wire finds himself with a beautiful, shy student, her presence stirring something in him, challenging his disciplined existence.
Growing up in the chaotic world of the Death Riders MC, Remy has perfected the art of invisibility. As her fractured club looks to rebuild, she’s sent to learn from Wire at Devil’s Rose MC. Timid and uncertain, Remy realizes she must step out of the shadows and find her voice to be the person she’s always wanted to be.
With an old friend gunning for them, and unknown enemies in the shadows, Wire and Remy must join forces to keep their families safe, all while trying to navigate their insecurities and growing attraction to each other. Thankfully, they have two MCs, a vertically challenged, murder-y woman, a badass momma, and a cast of characters at their backs.
Sit back and enjoy Wire and Remy’s ride, featuring slightly unhinged girl’s nights, expanding foam, and strippers.
Wire - Devil’s Rose MC Book Two is a 200+page blend of humor, romance, and a touch of chaos. For 18+ audiences due to spice, violence, and torture, with a shy heroine, an alphamallow male, and a guaranteed HEA. No cheating.
If you’re brave enough, you could read as a standalone, however, due to recurring characters and story arcs that carry on throughout, it is recommended that Rhodie - Devil’s Rose MC Book One, and August - Tombs Security + Devil’s Rose MC Crossover are read first, for the ultimate Devil’s Rose MC reading experience.
This one was as good maybe even better then the first book. All I know is I'm so going to binge read this series over the next couple of days. I love it so much.
This is the third book in Cleo Browne's Devil's Rose MC series. This book overlaps and follows the prior book and is Wire and Remy's story. Wire is a hacker and part of the security team for the DRMC with PTSD due to his military past. As the daughter of Death Riders MC member, Remy spent her childhood staying out of the way and her adulthood working as a librarian. After the two MC form an alliance, Remy is sent to the DRMC compound to learn computer and security skills from Wire and Tuesday.
This book is part of a series about the DRMC and Tomb Security and while there is an overarching story, there is a resolution to the immediate situation in this book and of course the standard HEA ending since it's a romance novel. This book wasn't as instant love/lust as the prior books, but things do still move fairly quickly and there was no third act breakup. Wire is disciplined, protective, and super security conscious of those he cares about. Remy is quiet and timid at first due to a childhood of staying in the shadows, but realizes she needs to speak up and step forward to help protect not only the MC members, but herself.
This is a book/series I'll read again for sure which puts it at 5/5 and I've already downloaded the next in the series. There was a good mix of plot to spice with open door scenes that were pretty detailed, so I'd put it at about 3/5 on my spicy scale.
Book of the Week: Wire by Cleo Browne I’m always excited to read a new Cleo Browne. Her books are funny, romantic, and twisted in just the right way. What I liked- this book was hilarious! The author blends humor, action, and romance with a deft hand. I love how the humor leavens more serious topics without cheapening them. More difficult subjects include trafficking and PTSD. These are treated with respect because the author knows when to turn on the funny and when to back off from it. The characters are straight up wonderful, without a dull one in the book. Remy is a nice addition to the series, and she and Wire truly enhance each other’s lives. Chewy, of course, is my favorite. She’s a neurologically spicy tech genius and torture artist. I’m glad I’m not the only person who thinks that torture would be more exquisitely performed with a good classic soundtrack like Dirty Dancing. If you think that violence can’t be funny, then you will be proved wrong by this book. Yes, laughing during violence is on the list of Reasons I’m Probably Headed to Hell, but at least I can comfort myself with the knowledge that I won’t be lonely after people read this book. Pops is, as always, a pistol and the Tombs family dinners must be a sought-after event. I love the Childhood Text Pal storyline. Childhood Friends to Lovers is always a fun trope, and it’s done really well here. I can’t think of anything that I don’t like about this book, which is rare because I can usually at least find something. But I enjoyed this book from word one. Highly recommended.
Cat’s Stats MMC/FMC- Wire and Remy Genre- MC Romance Length- novel Heat- 🌋🌋🌋🌋 with a virgin heroine and use of the P word. Series? Y Safety? Y, although trafficking is discussed. Triggers- graphic violence, explicit erotic content, more graphic violence, language, still graphic violence, drug and human trafficking, torture. Tropes- Former Military, Computer Geek, Children’s Librarian, Club Princess, You’ve Got Mail, Friends to Lovers, Girls’ Night, Chewy (she is a trope in and of herself), Adorable Moppet, Childhood Text Pals, Badass Grandpa, Don’t Eat The Brownies.
Wire is the tech expert for the DRMC, after leaving military service he found a place to belong. He has a compulsion to watch out for the people he cares about, it helps him to manage his PTSD.
Life has been interesting recently the Tombs family came crashing into the lives of the DRMC first it was Tuesday or ‘Chewy’ as the M.C. quickly named her but the rest soon followed. After that the MC from the next town over asked the DRMC if they could send someone over for tech training. That brought in a very unlikely looking woman, shy, timid and of course she’s a librarian. How did an MC Princess turn out like this?
Both women were working closely with wire, thankfully he had his oldest friend around to help, ok so they’ve never actually met each other yet. That’s often the case with online friends but she’s the kind of friend that you talk to about anything and everything.
Jump right in and find some new friends, easily the best light reads of the year even though it has some graphic violence and the occasional spicy adult encounters.
Remy grew up as a MC kid. Mom was a club girl. Dad is the VP of the Death Riders Mc. She came to live with her dad and her older sister when she was 4. Started gaming at the library when she would have to leave the clubhouse for hours due to club business. Works as a children’s librarian. Shy and demure. Wire is the Devils Rose MC tech guru. A military veteran who suffers from PTSD from a mission gone wrong. Wire agrees to take on a tech apprentice from a friendly MC so he can teach her all of his cyber skills.
Remy transfers to the library in Devils Rose so she can work while also training with Wire and she feels extremely protective of one of her little students Jovie whose dad is a loser. There are a lot of moving pieces in this story and connections from the previous 2 books that would make reading them helpful but not necessary. Do Wire & Remy get their HEA? Does Remy grow a backbone and find her strong voice? Does Wire finally go after what he wants?
This is the second or third book in the series and some part of it's timeline it's the same as "August" so it's better if you read all 3 books in order so you get a better experience.
In this book we get Wire and Remy's story. He is a former intelligence military and now he is the tech guy at the MC with the help of Chewy our "special" FMC from book 1. Remy is a shy MC princess from a friendly MC who comes to learn from Wire and Chewy and finds an alphamallow hot nerd, a MC who helps her become a stronger woman and a group of females friends without much experience with female friends so it's total chaos.
I love how the author can make me laugh in dark scenes as well as make all of the manly brothers of the MC just teddy bears who wants love, drive their bikes in peace, baked pastries and friend bracelets.
Lawd, Wire and Remy's story was sweet and romantic with a liberal dose of grit! Remy really comes into her own, finds out who she is and who she wants to be. She might have started out as a cute, quiet librarian but she turns in the biker babe she always had hidden inside. Wire discovered the much needed peace he so desperately deserved with her. He was finally able to enjoy life with her by his side. The laughs were just as plentiful as they have been in the previous two books. Chewy is a hoot, as always; I love the way her mind works! The MC keeps growing and its absolutely amazing. Everything played out the way I hoped it would. I have no doubt this book and the entire series will be a comfort read for years to come!!
If I could Rate this book more than 5 stars I would. This second book in the Devil's Rose series has everything I love in a series; protective males with hearts of gold, found family, humor, action, badass women, cute kids, and lots of spice. And as an added bonus, Chewy! If you have not read Rhodie and August do so now as it will help you learn to love these characters and the main plot line continues throughout the series. I instantly fell in love with this author and the wonderful, crazy world she allows us to live in!
This book was AMAZING!!!! I always have a soft spot for the hot nerds so, of course, Wire had my attention but oh man, this book! I absolutely love Remy and Wire! How they are individually and together. I love how this story moved along and the connection to the books before as well as what is to come. Getting more information was great but this book was sooo funny. I swear I almost messed myself on several occasions from laughing so hard. I can tell this series will be one of those that I read over and over. I say, bring on more hot bikers and hardcore women!!
Another crazy time for the Devil's Rose MC by Cleo Browne! Remy and Wire fit like a good puzzle. The road getting these two characters to realize that is such a good ride. The ride is filled with angst, scary moments, laughter, love. This author has a way of creating whole characters and in each book, they continue growing. This series is a must read! I received this ARC copy and this is an honest review.
There are some authors who could make you laugh when describing a funeral. And they do it in the most natural way. Cleo Browne is one of those authors.
Don't misunderstand me though. Her books have a complete plot that will have you wondering what's going on -- the full who, what, why and where -- and then turning the pages as quickly as possible to find out the answers.
There's nothing I didn't love about this book. Easy Five Star rating!
Absolutley love Wire and Remy! They have been best friends unknowingly for years, messaging under gamer names, so when they actually meet, sparks fly. Once they find out whom the other is, all bets are off. Between the two MCs, the mafia and the bad guys, it's game on. Such a great balance of laughter and drama. Just read it!

Love these stories - Book 2 of the Devil's Rose MC series and this just gets better and better. I love the way Cleo Browne writes. Her characters are quirky, real and extremely relatable. Wire and Remy are awesome together. It is a sweet start with lots of unknown history and a smattering of mystery and intrigue. Can't wait for more
Loved this. More alpha men, strong women and awesome shenanigans. If I wasn't laughing out loud then I had a soppy smile on my face whilst reading. Also cringing in a few places but the characters got what they deserved. I don't know where the author gets her ideas from. Looking forward to more from this author.
Absolutely loved this one. Each book just keeps getting better than the last one. I can’t stop reading these. Cleo I hope you’re writing a lot. I’m going to be at the end of this series before you know it. Then what am I suppose to read? My TBR list? Yours have been hitting above it at the moment. 😃
Whoo wee, Cleo knows how to weave a story. Loved Wire and Remy. Thoroughly enjoyed seeing the rest of the MC and their ladies and what they are up to. I'm hoping that Tav is next.
I just can't get enough of Cleo's books & Wire's story was no exception! The banter & shenanigans with her characters has me laughing, the drama has me captivated & just this world sucks me right in!
I love Cleo’s writing and Wire and Remy’s story was phenomenal. I love seeing a woman find her fierceness. I can’t wait for the next book. Fantastic storytelling along with parts that made me laugh out loud!
Love the strong women characters. Our main H this time went from shy to owning it amongst alpha men who supported her. Lots of laughs... some very imaginative use of filler and another continuation of the DRMC family.
I love the kooky chaos these books are. I love that Remy and Wire have known each other since age 13, but didn't know the connection and it took chewy to figure it out and save the day.
I loved this book. It is filled with thrills and fun times. These characters are just hilarious. This Book is full of laughs, love and family. The group of bikers and the sassy strong women are a joy to read!
Remy and wire have a share unknown pass and find each other working together as the rhodie and August book story lines continue again well written with humour fun action mystery and chewy and pops test continue
I didn't expect the back story to be interesting and so sweet. Wire and Remy have more in common than him trainer her to be a hacker. Chewy is still creepy and oddly friendly. I wish they could get the bad guy.
I didn't want the book to end. I love Chewy in Rhodie but in this book she was the best. Loved Remy and Wire and the rest of the characters as well. I can't wait to read Marx's book!
I love this series and can’t recommend it highly enough. There’s so much action and shenanigans you will not be bored and so many outrageously funny parts. Do yourself a favour, read the series.
Another amazing story from Cleo! Honestly for me her books are the perfect storm. Alpha men, quirky characters, action and taking out the bad guys. I can’t wait for the rest of this series!
I highly recommend this book for anyone looking for action broken up by moments of laugh-out-loud conversation. Chewy is a fantastic character I look forward to seeing again in future books.
The storyline is awesome it's about a friendship that's been going on for15 years between a shy girl and a young man! It's back story has bikers, drugs, kidnapping, and girl power to the mix to make a awesome story. A must read if you like bikers mc.
Remy and Wire are adorably geeky! I love how this story unfolded. Suspense, transformation, acceptance and drama. Remy and her library kids were so sweet. Another great book in the series!
Remy is moving to the DRMC to learn from the best hackers in the business. But what she finds is a connection and person that has always been hers. It is crazy how small the world really is.
This series is great. I love how different the female characters are.
