Wow!!! Jason Davis is an author we all need to keep an eye on!!! This horror was really awesome. The characters are amazing and the plot is one the blew my mind!! I truly enjoyed this book! The only thing that kept this from being a 5 star for me was the length. To be perfectly honest I feel like the story would have just as effective and impactful if it was shorter by 100 to maybe even 150 pages. This may be a me thing so, don’t let my opinion sway you. You may enjoy it just as it is!!!

I could not stop reading!! You get very into this book very quickly. It is a horror masterpiece!!!! I loved the characters and got very into them! The story is phenomenal!

This was my first horror book, and it was good. I do recommend it, it was a little drawn out for me, but it was good. I didn’t know what to expect especially since it’s a bigger big chunker lol. It didnt frighten me, like I thought it wld, it followed Lizzie who had inherited her uncles house, that was way in the middle of the woods, nothing and no one around. Her and her friend Sarah went to check the house out and see what needed to be done to clean it out and fix it up. They have a feeling that something isn’t right, but instead of leaving, they stay to do more investigating. Then Sarah gets killed by a demon, and Lizzie, unable to help her friend tries to run away and ends up in the hosp, unsure of how she escaped. Then the story follows her journey of the demon tormenting her and as more people die, they immediately become ghosts, following Lizzie everywhere she goes. So many twists and turns in this book. It kept me engaged and wanting mores

I would categorize this more as a paranormal horror. This is the first book I’ve read that was ever in this category. I was hooked into this story from the very first page. After about 20-30% I thought I was much farther into this story, and was a little let down realizing I was not as far as I thought I was. In my opinion I felt like this story could have been cut down by 100-200 pages. Some parts were repeated over & over with a slight change, and I didn’t really enjoy those parts.

If you really like paranormal books then you’ll really enjoy this book! This was a super unique story to me, I’ve never read another story like this. Also, the synopsis had me super intrigued & I wanted to find out wth was going to happen next! If you like paranormal or horrors or both then give this book a try because you’ll probably love this!

It is a fantastic paranormal horror. This story is full of ghosts and bad dreams. Great character development throughout the book. Lizzie lost her best friend... but is she really dead. Is the cabin hiding secrets? I did find the book was a little longer than it needed to be. But overall, it's a great story.

This is a wild ride of a story!! This book has lots of deaths, haunting and secrets! Lizzie feels she’s stuck in a bad dream world, where she sees her friend die and return. Lizzie is trying to figure out what is going on before too many of her friends end up dead.
There’s a lot that takes place in this story, so there’s never a dull point!
This story is very well written and very entertaining. This is my first book from this author, and I’m super excited to read more!

Very well written! About a girl and her friend who moved into a house that she inherited and she didn't even know about it. It's a horror and I absolutely loved it. It has creatures and monsters and keeps you on your toes.

While reading this book, my imagination was on hyper speed. From the opening chapter to the last page; I was completely immersed within this novel. I am a reader who enjoys long books and this one fit the bill at almost 600 pages. I know that seems like a lot of work but it really was not. Before I knew it I had read 200 pages. The descriptions of the zombie characters devouring the person was truly horrifying. A couple of times I needed to look away from the book to clear my mind screen. When Lizzie was stuck in her ‘dreams’ I really wished I could climb into the book and help her. Then there was the fact that two evil parties were fighting over Lizzie. She would win a battle with one side to only have to fight the other side. There was good thrown in but it seemed to be when all hope was lost. I like reading fiction and this book represents why; this is all fiction. I want it to be fiction for I do not believe I would last long if what happened at the cabin was real life. 👻👻👻👻👻

This book was very interesting and unique, however it was so long and drawn out. And then I just really didn’t get it. First there is a curse, all her friends get killed because of said curse. But by the end what was with the vampires, the were wolves, and the vortex? There was a lot going on here and while I did enjoy reading it for the most part I just wished it wasn’t quite so long and I also hated the ending sorry

This entire book is an absolute fever dream. It’s the first audiobook I’ve ever listened to and I had no idea I could both love and hate someone’s voice as much as I did the narrator. I enjoyed the storyline, but found the ending (and a couple parts throughout) to be a little confusing, and wasn’t sure if it was my attention span or the details that were to blame.

This Review will probably be all over the place, because that’s how I felt listening to it., This was an interesting horror fest that I listened to, twice. It would make a very good horror movie, because it gave me Evil Dead vibes. My thoughts on it was, it was super long and sometimes drawn out horror story, ( my ADD I think kept me from enjoying it because I felt lost while listening to this the first time. ) the second time I really enjoyed how the author made you feel as insane and hopeless as the MC Lizzie. The Secrets some of these undead held were insane. It really felt like I was cursed along with Lizzie. The whole story was an insane ride.
