Co-authored books are often difficult for me to get through, especially when the book feels like a conversation between the authors, who are both trying to get out of the other one's way. Overall, I loved the message. I really appreciate a note in one of the last chapters about easing up on your own expectations to rid yourself of expectations. It's an important note to add in a book about stripping your own and other people's misguided expectations of your life.
This was a book that exceeded my expectations. I thought it would be a dry read but it was surprisingly filled with incite. I have to admit, I didn't like the 2 authors having a back & forth at first but I adapted to this writing style. I plan on going back to reread this in the future. I received my copy via Goodreads.
