Fun read. Willie is a colorful character. As someone who puts himself through many outdoor adventures and ordeals, this was inspiring. Willie has impressive resolve and fortitude (but surprisingly worried about bears and fox feces in water!). This was a pleasure to read. I recommend "Tozan" by Willie Walks!

I really wanted to enjoy Tozan, and I did appreciate the author’s humour and the interesting glimpses into Japanese culture. However, by page 56 I found myself struggling to stay engaged with the story and ultimately decided not to continue. While the cultural observations and light humour were enjoyable, the narrative itself just didn’t hold my attention enough to keep going.
