ARC Review
I really like why choose/reverse harem romances so I was excited to read this plus vampires are always something I am drawn too but while I did enjoy it and thought Ava was such an interesting character with a lot of growth - it fell a bit flat for me. The men I just felt blended together a lot of the time and the different POVs got really confusing. I did however enjoy the relationship between Lysander and Ava that really stood out and kept me reading. Overall it is still a fun read but not my favorite why choose romance.

I received an eARC for my honest opinion.

In this book you will meet Avalon, who is a strong woman who was given a chance to leave her abusive boyfriend behind and start her own life. However, the night she escaped she did not do it alone, she had the help of two ominous men who helped her to her freedom. Now that she is finally living the life that wants, she finds that she is lonely at times until the two handsome men who saved her that one night come to the city she is living in and they run into each other. From there you will meet Lysander, Marcus and Varos. They become a safe haven for Avalon and from there they help her come out of her shell more and more.

I thought this book was done well. I loved how you see an amazing survivor out of Avalon. You will see her trauma, her death and how she comes back and learns to become stronger and fierce. She still keeps her humanity with her, but you will see the changes that she takes to become the woman that she is at the end of the book. I loved that Tanja always shows how her characters get to become the women they have always wanted to be but were just lost or in positions where they couldn’t be. I loved that in this book you have Avalon who is in control, but at the same time you have three males who would do anything for you.

Lysander, not going to lie at first, I really didn’t like him. However, he does open up more and I know I can’t picture a better protector/lover/friend for Avalon. He was more level headed, and took the time to think things through. I loved that when he finally opened up, he became the biggest supporter of Avalon and would do anything for her to make sure she was safe and happy. Marcus and Varos, they are more like family. They’re both Vampires who Lysander saved from his clan. They’re troublemakers but in a good way, they’re also huge softies when it comes to Avalon as well. Making sure that she has everything she has ever wanted in life and well…. Even in her afterlife as well... read the book and you will understand lol.

I couldn’t have pictured any other characters that would have been better for this book. I loved these characters that really shined on what love is, even if it's different from your views, I loved the friendships that developed throughout the book and all the revenge that Avalon got to take on her abuser and how she handled that. I thought the book was wrapped up nicely and didn’t leave things unanswered. There is spice in this book, but it was well done for being a reverse harem vampire romance book.

I want to thank Tanja and Booksirens for the opportunity to review this book.

lots of sweet and spicy

I was so excited for this one going in! It started off strong, I immediately loved all the main characters and it kept me on my toes over what was going to come next.

The downsides for me came after everything happened and the MCs started their relationship. I was so sad and angry for Ava with what she went through, and I feel like it was just kind of brushed aside other than a few small mentions. Marcus and Varos’ POVs were also a bit hard to follow at times because they felt very much like the same character, with only a few differences. I did enjoy seeing Lysander warm up to Ava, and his POV chapters were some of my favorite.

I am glad that Ava was given her revenge, in the way that she wanted. She grew a lot into her new self and I liked that she also had some of the parts of herself that made her happy. Their HEA was sweet and not complicated and I liked seeing some of the traveling they got to do.

At first, I was casually reading while gaming, but the story quickly drew me in, making it impossible to focus on anything else.

The narrative kicks off with an intriguing plot that steadily intensifies. The protagonist finds herself trapped in an abusive relationship, only to be led down an unexpected path where she discovers her "angels" and a new sense of purpose. Without giving away too much, the story eventually takes a more explicit turn.

The artwork is stunning and makes no effort to hide what’s happening in the book.

If I had to rate the beginning, it’s a solid 5/5. However, the spicy elements didn’t sit well with me—not because of the scenes themselves, but due to their context. After experiencing deep trauma, embracing these moments felt out of place. For that, I’d give it a 2/5.

Overall, I’m torn between a 3 and 4 out of 5.

【English review; Italiano ⬇️】
Tears of Revenge is a fantasy, found family, and why-choose romance set in the modern day, featuring captivating male main characters and an innocent yet strong female lead.

The narrative and writing were smooth and highly enjoyable. Even though I’m not usually a fan of third-person narratives, I found myself fully immersed in this world and its characters.

The book itself was fantastic. It’s filled with positive values and meaningful morals, which is not something you often find in dark romance, where the focus tends to be on exploring the more forbidden desires of the human mind.

In this story, though, consent, self-awareness, well-being, and personal growth come first. And I really want to take a moment to commend the author for that.

Everyone gave Avalon the time and space she needed to adjust, constantly reminding her that she had full control over herself and how they interacted with her.

Coming from an abusive environment, I think Avalon found that to be the most remarkable—and almost fantastical—part of her experience, even more so than her companions' supernatural traits.

Honestly, if people—both men and women—treated others with the same respect that Varos, Marcus, and Lysander showed Avalon, the world would be a much better place.

I absolutely loved how they all worked together without any jealousy, united by a common goal: to care for her, support her, and make her feel good.

There’s just one tiny thing I felt was missing: a bit more action after the big shift in Avalon’s life.

Don’t get me wrong, we definitely don’t lack action... in the bedroom *wink wink*, which I totally adored! But maybe the main plot could’ve used a few more thrilling, roller-coaster moments.

Now, back to what I loved about this book: the vampires have unique traits, like the fact that they don’t need to breathe *wink wink*. No spoilers, but I think the author did a fantastic job of giving them a fresh, original spin.

I also really appreciated the focus on the healing process. Healing takes time, energy, and determination. But with the right support, it becomes easier to accept things and move forward.

So, if you're looking for a vampire reverse harem romance filled with steamy scenes, starring a little dove, a gentleman, a hothead, and a monster in disguise, you’re in the right place.

Tears of Revenge and its characters will keep you company, help you appreciate the little things, and remind you to spend time nurturing your passions and hobbies while giving your mind a break from your worries.

Distractions aren’t always a bad thing. Sometimes, they help you clear your mind, reflect on situations with a cooler head, and find better solutions.

Above all, what this book teaches is that you should always accept yourself—especially your new self, no matter what.

【Recensione italiana】

"Revenge must ripe like a good wine to be enjoyed to the fullest."

Avalon (Ava) is trapped in an abusive relationship with her boyfriend and loses hope that she can't find her way out of it. One night at the club, two mysterious men, Marcus and Varos, save her from her situation and give her the push to find her freedom. Four years later, she still finds herself dreaming of her "guardian angels" and wishes she could properly thank them for what they had done.

Until… She comes across them in her new office and is beyond the moon to see them. Their relationship quickly turns into a friendship, with deeper feelings lurking below the surface. Although the threat of Ava's ex still lingers in the back of her mind, she finds herself falling for these mysterious men. To add onto her crazy life, Varos and Marcus have another companion, Lysander, who also curiously eyes Ava from a distance. Lysander is more standoffish than his two counterparts… and seems to have a dark secret he never wishes to share.

As their relationship tangles and intertwines, they learn that they can't live without Ava. Even if it means changing her life… forever.

Without further ado, my review:

Admittedly, dark romance (and reverse harem) is not particularly my go-to genre for books. However, I find myself intrigued and drawn to some of them, especially when the supernatural is involved. So seeing that this one was a vampire one? Sign me up!

From the get go, I loved the cover of the book. Definitely gives off dark romance vibes and I think sets the tone of what we're getting into. The quote in the beginning stuck with me throughout reading it and I desperately hoped that Ava would get revenge from how her (ex) boyfriend treated her. Do note, there is a list of trigger warnings for this novel. While they did not bother me, I'm sure it will be important for a lot of other readers.

As for the characters, I think their complexity fell a little flat. Other than descriptions, which were only truly given in the beginning, they become simple, faceless characters in my mind that I only know by name. I honestly do not remember what Lysander is described to look like. Now, their actions did show who they were: Varos is quieter, more reserved; Marcus is outspoken, not afraid to share what he thinks; Lysander is a mix between the two, stuck between seeing himself as a monster, but is also the sweetest of the three men.

However, despite the lack of depth, I found myself enjoying the relationship between Lysander and Ava, finding it more fulfilling than with the other two. They had great heart-to-heart conversations that really helped develop Ava's character. As the book continued on, I noticed that Varos' character kind of fades into the background, lost behind Lysander and Marcus. I nearly forgot about him at times until he'd pop up again. Some of the conversations, specifically between Marcus and Lysander, did make me laugh out loud and I found myself smiling like a fool with the interactions between all four characters.

On a more critique level I found the writing a little choppy and abrupt, especially with the conversations. It was a little hard to differentiate who was speaking when at times. Third person can be a challenge when there are several "hes" and you're not 100% sure which he is speaking. Another thing to note, there was a lot of telling rather than describing, along with repetitive action words that made some parts of the novel very repetitive. I wish there was a little more depth to the whole book, like more about the clan stuff and all that jazz. Other than that, I thought the writing was fairly easy to follow and found this a fast paced read.

There was one thing I was confused about in the book, being the classic "Well, if they're vampires… how do they.. y'know?" Because there are several instances where Marcus would mention how he'd blush if he were able to, but he could also still have a tent pop up (like my SFW euphemism?) no issue. I'm trying not to think too deeply into it because I know this is supposed to be a fun, non serious read that is just good to consume when you're looking to escape, but this bothered me the whole book. Also… RED TEARS? That would have been so frightening! Goodness.

Last but not least, I loved the art sketches in the book! That was such a fun surprise during my Kindle reading! :)

This is a vampire reverse harem erotic romance with trigger warnings such as but not limited to blood play, graphic violence, torture, rape, and death.

Avalon is trapped in the hands of her abusive boyfriend and can’t see a way out until one night two ominous men save her life changing its course when they give her a way to escape the nightmare she’s been living in. Four years later, Avalon steps into the elevator to her new job and comes face to face with her saviors.

Marcus and Varos never in their wildest dream thought they’d see the woman they saved that night, but fate she’s a fickle lady because Avalon is right here. This enchanting human has them both wrapped around her little finger. They would do anything for her except tell her what they are, that she can never find out.

Lysander hides the beast within, the wolf in sheep’s skin, he’s forced to watch his friends grow closer to the human, taking her out on dates and having her come have lunch in their shared office space, ridiculous and dangerous. When Marcus and Varos must rescue Avalon a second time and Varos does the unthinkable and turns her into a vampire to ensure she lives Lysander can’t help but get close to her, this perfect creature who helps tame the beast within when the moon rises. How could he not fall for her as well when she’s got him wrapped around her dainty little finger?

Adjusting to her new life as a vampire is difficult, yet with her men around her Avalon finds a way to come to terms with her new self, trust is so easy between the four of them, she always feels safe, cherished, and she enjoys the control they say she has although she doesn’t always feel it and oh my the sex, and the blood, both are enough to render Avalon high. Maybe they claimed her, or perhaps she claimed them, one thing Longoria makes very clear they belong to her and her to them. For all eternity.

In this spicy novel, Longoria broached hard, even ugly subject matters without glossing over details or making them degrading but turned the focus to survival and strength and support and a reclaiming of self, even though Avalon had been transformed, she still had to come terms with everything that happened to her before becoming a vampire. Accept why being turned was her only option to survive. An entertaining, steamy 3 star-read.

🩸

Tears of Revenge is a fast-paced reverse harem romance with sweet and swoon-worthy vampires who rescued a human named Avalon from a seriously abusive relationship with Troy. While the premise is enough to pull readers into the story, there are a few things that fall flat.

First being that there aren’t a lot of details about the characters and their paranormal world—which isn’t to say that their background isn’t interesting, it’s just lacking depth. As for the characters, we aren only given details about what they looked like when Avalon meets them, however, they become somewhat “faceless” as the book progressed and we are only able to see their personalities in their actions and words

For the most part, there seemed to be a more of an in-depth relationship between Avalon and Lysander than Avalon with the other two men. I think we would’ve enjoyed the four of them if there was a little something more from the characters.

Second, while the writing style is easy enough to be pulled into the story and ensure the flow of the story is smooth, it was hard to read the dialogue with so many he’s and it’s hard to tell which of the three men are talking.

HOWEVER.

If I could ignore these just two little things, the story is good, though I must say to mind the content warnings before diving in as there are some pretty dark themes revolving around Avalon’s relationship with Troy. I really admired Avalon’s immense strength and growth as she learns to move on from her horrible relationship and what had led her to be with the three men who are willing to do anything for her, even if it meant burning the world down to ensure she’s safe.

It really does have the potential to become a five star read, and I hope that in the future the author will create a story with a little be more depth in her characters and the background of the story. Which is why I will be continuing to support her as she continues to put out more books.

🩸Vampire MMCs
🩸A Lycan MMC
🩸Human FMC
🩸Praise
🩸Multi POV

I mean you had me at why choose where there are vampires involved 🤤😆 but this book sucked (haha yeah it's a pun GET IT?) Me in from the first page, you have the human FMC Avalon a.k.a Ava or the swoonworthy nickname given to her by her dropdead (okay okay I'll stop 😆) gorgeous men "little dove" later in the book, and her then scummy boyfriend Troy.
Troy is a piece of manipulative 💩  but have no fear because that is where the revenge comes into play 😉
Anyway as I was saying, Ava gets saved by these two hotties 🔥 (okay remember the two puns I used? Yes that's where these come in because the two hotties Varos and Marcus are the two vampire MMCs 🤤) who then set her up with some cash and get her on her way telling her to set up somewhere Troy would never think to look and start fresh. So she does, she finds herself a little hole in the wall place to call home, a brand spanking new job and starts to feel like she is finally free to actually be herself, now anyone that has been through a rough relationship knows this takes TIME. So it's been 4 years and low and behold the hotties turn up out of nowhere 🥵
And well that's only the very very start of the book! !!! And only two out of the three hotties might I add 🫠

I mean what more could you really want in a book? You have why choose between 3 guys who all worship the group you walk on, have all the patience in the world with you wanting literally nothing but to help you heal your trauma, they would literally do anything for you and I mean anything 😘

It's maybe not as spicy as I would have thought it should have been? But I would definitely recommend to New Adult readers, maybe even people just starting their spice journey, and definitely check your warnings as it does have a scene thanks to Troy 🙄 that may affect some readers 😘🖤

Releases on Amazon and KU on the 16th of September 😘🌹🖤

Tears of Revenge by Tanja Longoria tells the story of Avalon (Ava), who is saved from an abusive relationship by two mysterious strangers. Fast forward two years later, and Ava runs into the mystery men while on her way to work one morning. This chance encounter sees the start of a blossoming friendship that evolves into a relationship between Ava, the two men (Marcus and Varos) and their friend (Lysander) before an event that will chance her life forever.

With two vampires, a lycan and a human - this book contains a number of my favourite tropes including dark romance, reverse harem, and revenge, so I was excited to read it. The story starts strong, however it fell a little flat with the lack of backstory and character development. While you can see Ava's growth throughout the book, the characters felt a little one-dimensional. I also would have loved more conflict and tension.

The story is told from the POV from all characters, and while I love a book with multiple POV, at times this one could be confusing and seemed to swap between third person and first person.

There are some things I really liked about this book, including
- the distinct personalities of each MMC
- the banter between the characters
- Ava and Lysander's relationship
- the importance placed on consent and boundaries
- the artwork (NSFW but a nice little surprise)

Some scenes are quite dark and will not be for every reader, so make sure to read the trigger warnings before starting.

If you are looking for a quick, entertaining read that is character driven and isn't too complex, check out Tears of Revenge when it releases on 16 September.

'Revenge must ripe like a good wine to be enjoyed to the fullest.'

This book has the potential to be a 4 or 5 star for some readers just not for me. This book may include triggers for some people so check the trigger warnings prior to reading. It is also a reverse harem which I love. There were also vampires and Lycans so that helped to grab my attention!

Multiple POV can work well for some books but I found myself constantly getting confused by Marcus’ and Varos’ POVs they both seemed too similar to me. Lysander was definitely a man of his own and was easy to tell apart from the other two. I enjoyed watching the relationship between Ava and Lysander grow, this relationship felt more organic than the relationship she developed with the other two men.

"if I walk out, the only one I'm turning my back on is your lycan..""It is not because of you."
I felt Ava’s character developed nicely throughout the book especially through her conversations with Lysander and her choices towards the end of the book. The other men seemed a little flat and other then falling in love with Ava didn’t show much progression but their love for Ava was definitely shown off.

The book does strive to show the importance of consent and boundaries and does this wonderfully, which is great to see in a book especially ones that cover the topics that this one does.

This book would be super for someone who loves reverse harem why choose books that are easy to read and not overly complex.

I have read 3 of Tanja's wolf shifter books and overall, I have really enjoyed her books, including this one. Like those, i finished this book in like 5ish hours I think. But this one is definitely different because there are not 1, not 2, but 3 main male love interests. So let's get into it!

Avalon finally escapes the clutches of her abusive boyfriend thanks to these two mysterious handsome men. Now, a few years later, those two men come back into her life. Everything is going really well, Avalon is at peace, Marcus and Varos are excited to be in her presence, and Lysander may seem grumpy, but he slowly starts looking forward to spending time with her. But when Troy (the abusive ex) comes back, the men must make a dangerous decision.

I did like this book, but some things didn't really make sense to me. There wasn't much depth to the characters and Varos specifically kind of slid to the background. For example, there is a lot of blood play, but bloody tears and ___? Sounds super messy. Also, by the end of the book, it was focused on mostly Avalon and Lysander's relationship. He definitely got more page time, not that I'm complaining haha. I felt like their relationship was more in depth. I with Varos was more present and assertive. Marcus was like a golden retriever lol.

Overall, I really enjoyed it, I like that it's a quick read, and it was definitely different from her other books I've read.

This book has:
- Multiple POV
- 2 Vampire MMCs
- Lycan shifter MMC
- Human FMC
- Why Choose
- Blood Play
- Praise
- Found Family
- Revenge/Torture

It was a good book, read it in one day. Couldn’t put it down and definitely recommend if you love these tropes. I rated it a 3.9 out of 5 stars. They also call her “little dove” 🕊️🥹😫🫠

There may be Spoilers so ‼️BEWARE‼️

- Why Choose
- Reverse Harem Romance
- Strong FMC
- Found Family
- Open Door
- HEA
- Multiple POVs
- TW/ CW

Avalon just wants to be free and careless. She goes through hell but comes out stronger and fierce. She is true to herself and doesn’t change. She is sweet, kind, caring, considerate, affectionate, and genuine. I’m happy she got her happy ending, a safe home, and a new family. She deserves the best in the world. 🫶🏻🥹😊😫

Varos, Marcus, and Lysander: they are all caring, kind, thoughtful, generous, affectionate, compassionate, and especially patient. I love them all for how they treated Avalon and cared for her. They understood her and didn’t push her to do anything she didn’t want to do. They were patient throughout the whole book. Also literally would do anything just to see her happy, safe, healthy and content. Again they call her “little dove”. I literally love them so much. 🥹🫶🏻😫🙌🏼🫠

Favorite quotes:
“No one believes you’re stupid. You are strong for surviving so long but surviving isn’t living, Avalon.”

“I thought you were angels. My angels. You saved me, then you came back and made me happy.”

“I’m not saying that they are wrong, but when you’ve bought everything that money can buy, you cherish the things you can’t: friendship, love, happiness.”

This book was a different take on vampires and one that I thoroughly enjoyed. I really enjoyed seeing Avalon evolve as a character along with Varos, Marcus and Lysander. I really felt for Avalon especially the second half of the book when she trying to figure out her new self. It definitely kept me engrossed in the book and I would recommend it to anyone.

I felt like the scene with Troy when he takes her kind of came out of nowhere but then again thinking about it, I could see that it may happen. I do feel like it was a little hard for me to wrap my head around the third person point of view just because I'm more used to first person. I didn't realize it would be told from different points of view until like chapter 3 or 4 when it started switching to the multiple POV. I know this was an ARC copy so that could also just be editing. Also, maybe I missed it but I wish there was a better description of what the characters looked like. Like I said I may have missed it. I also did feel like Avalon finding herself as a vampire was a little drawn out and sometimes it was hard to figure out who was talking. I wish there was more with Varos, I felt like Marcus was trying to take over a lot of the time and it was hard to really get a read on the individual relationship with Varos and Ava. I did enjoy the banter between the characters especially Marcus and Lysander and Marcus and Varos. Overall it was a really good read and I really enjoyed it.

This was a fun, fast-paced read. It does have darker elements, so make sure you read the trigger warnings.

The storyline itself was fairly simple, but it was a good read. I think it could benefit from another round of editing, but it’s not bad. The writing is a bit choppy, and there were times I’d have to reread passages to remember who was talking (but that could be because I’m just not a huge fan of third person POV).

Avalon was an interesting character. She had a lot of growing to do throughout this book, and a lot to come to terms with. I feel like she definitely struggled with certain aspects of her new life, but that’s completely understandable.

I felt like Lysander was the most developed character. He and Ava seemed to have the most depth to their relationship. Not that she didn’t have meaningful relationships with the other two, but I felt like she and Lysander just had a deeper one. Lysander and Marcus definitely stole the show a bit, and their conversations were pretty funny when they would go back and forth. Varos was the strong, quiet type, and he does kind of fade into the background in a lot of scenes, but I suppose that kind of fits his character.

I do wish all of the characters had a little more depth. Avalon had the most growth, but even she was kind of still a flat character to me.

Overall, worth a read if you’re into why choose and vampires! 3/5 stars and 3/5 spice.

I did receive this as an advance copy, and this is my honest review.

I received the ARC from the author and reviewing this voluntarily🤍

“Nothing constricts you, little dove. Just as the world lies at your feet, I lie as well.”

This book was so addicting, I couldn’t put it down and it got me put of one of my worst reading slumps. The book gave me twilight vibes if Bella went for Edward and Jacob AND another vampire.

I love the main characters, they were all so different and unique but each of them loved Avalon the way she deserved to be loved. No spoilers but I also loved how the author described her past abusive relationship and what it was like. It really gave an insight on what these people are going through. And I loved how the guys went about showing her what her worth is and seeing her growth throughout the book. Her strength and her ability to remain who she was despite everything was just inspiring.

The spicy scenes were also giving. They were chef’s kiss🤌🏻. The little illustrations we got as well was a nice touch.

I gave it a three stars because there were some areas in the book where i felt it was a bit dragging but then it picked up again. There also was not a lot of time for the leading up to the climax or the main twist. It was about one or two chapter then it resolved. I feel like it would have been better if there was a bit of suspense before it happened so that the readers also felt anxious and excited while reading.

A spicy why choose vampire romance? That sounded exactly like my cup of tea. The first half of the book is a great mix of romance between Ava and her boys and working through traumatic events from the past. I loved how Marcus and Varos set up nice dates for Ava while trying to keep her safe. After another very traumatic event for Ava everything changes. The second half of the book therefore shifts towards a different vibe. It’s all about adapting to the new situation. Ava slowly learns how to live her new life with the support of her three boys as Lysander also opens up to her. All three boys have had a hard past, have lived a long life and also have a hard time opening up to Ava. But together they work through it all. For me personally, the spice in the second half was a bit over present. I enjoyed the spicy scenes a lot and it did work as a means to adapt to the new relationship for the four. Still, I would have loved a bit more focus on the changes in their lives and how that is influenced by their different backgrounds. On the other hand, I really enjoyed the revenge plot. Without spoiling I think this was done nicely and fit perfectly to the dark atmosphere of the book.
All in all I enjoyed the book with its dark topics and spicy focus, but wished for a little more depth for all characters.

👸 You know that common saying "Every little girl wants to be a princess"? Well.... After reading this book, I think every romance reader will want to be Avalon. Surviving trauma and her death, Avalon becomes this fierce and strong FMC. Step by step she conquers the world. With the majority of movies and novels once a change in one's being, they suddenly become this powerful being but with Tanja's writing we see the steps being taken one by one, her character built as moments, days and years pass.

🐺 Lysander, oh sweet Lysander you should have known you can't stay away. A protector but a friend. A fierce shield and supporter but a "puppy" just for her. I know I shouldn't play favourites between the 3 men but he really stole my heart!

🦇 Marcus and Varos. The vampires who are like brothers. They fit together like 2 puzzle pieces and when around her, it feels electrifying. What a combination!

💎 With detailed and intricate backstories these 4 characters make up a fabulous story and book. I cannot recommend it enough. It has romance, unique revenge, the perfect amount of spice and it leaves you feeling accomplished. It's a true gem between other PNR books!

“Her words weren’t only a promise to Lysander—they were a threat to the lycan.” 🐺

This was a super cute read! I would definitely add this to my re read list. I love a story with some good banter and some of these parts had me rolling. And the cover? STUNNING

I loved the story! The characters personalities, storyline, etc. all had a great place. However towards the middle/end I think for me personally 1. The POVs and scenes, hopped around a bit too quickly and made things a bit unclear. And 2. The important scenes felt a bit short/rushed.

I loveeeee a good tragic and dark backstory, but felt like we could have had a bit more in the sense of really feeling it. I want to feel my heart being ripped from my chest but maybe that’s just me LOL

I will say I loved Lysander and how their relationship bloomed. I would have liked to see a bit more depth between them, but I feel he needs his own storyline!

Overall, I really enjoyed this! It was a cute read with a great plot and good direction!!

I will absolutely be reading more from this author and look forward to a potential sequel!

I received an advanced review copy of Tears of Revenge for free and am leaving an honest, voluntary review. I had high hopes for this book based on the synopsis provided. Tears of Revenge is a quick, fun read without too much plot.

It hit the mark with spiciness and its reverse harem theme. There were parts of the story that really drew me in with the characters. Specifically, I would enjoy a spin off of each of the male characters back stories. I really wanted more about the main female character as well. The author made a point to demonstrate the importance of consent and establishing boundaries. I also appreciate the emphasis placed on choice and honesty.

The story is fast paced and I did not feel a sense of time while reading. The main storyline could have taken place over months or years. The story is written with multiple points of view and can be confusing to follow in some scenes, specifically surrounding dialogue. I reread some sections a few times to ensure I was following along.

Ultimately, if you’re looking for some vampire-lycan, why choose spicy romance with a happy ending, definitely pick this book up!!

4.5 /5 ⭐️

I want to get this little disclaimer out before I get into my actual review:

Overall, it was captivating and I read it from start to finish without stopping. I’ll definitely be reading more from Tanja so this is in no way meant to be negative whatsoever. 🖤

4.5 /5⭐️

This was a quick read; in length and also by being fast-paced in general.

I loved the storyline and the details put into giving us Avalon’s backstory and her developing relationships with each of her guys were great but I felt like the spicy scenes were maybe rushed - I had to go back and reread to determine which character was which and in what position they were subsequently in because it all became “blurred” for lack of a better word. And just to add that I am by no means a stranger to a good RH so it’s not that my imagination just isn’t up to par 😆

I also LOVED the fact that there was a blooper section at the end of the book! It gave me quite a laugh and I appreciated that tiny peek into the “in progress” aspect of the book 🖤

I want to thank Tanja and BookSirens for giving me the opportunity to read and review this book 🖤

Tears of Revenge follows Avalon, the FMC, who is saved from an abusive relationship by 2 mystifying vampires, Marcus & Varos. They give Avalon the money and ability to free herself from this life and start a new.
Avalon is getting settled into her new life and job while also being mindful of her surroundings and actions.
4 years later and her path crosses with Marcus & Varcos again. Spiraling into a twisty romance. And also getting close with their stubborn friend Lysander.

I’m not going to spoil any details for you.
Overall, I think this is a great read. I’m not really someone that’s into vampires and fantasy type subjects, but this is an enjoyable book. Especially if that’s just the kind of things you look for in a book.
It’s also got some great spice 🌶️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
The chapters aren’t too long and dragged out as well. Which I think most of us can agree that long chapters can sometimes be the worst.
I recommend this book if you’re in a TBR overwhelmed state. This book could easily be read in a day if you have free time ✨

*** Please Read Trigger Warnings ***

I overall really enjoyed this book. I will admit the first couple chapters were a bit under whelming in holding my attention. However once I got to reading this book it was nothing but amazing. I love strong willed main female characters who stick true to their true selves no matter what life throws at them. I love that Avalon is very relatable and sadly goes through something that regrettably most woman go through . I love that Marcus, Varos and Lysander were nothing but patient and understanding with Avalon. The spice level in this book is well leveled with a good understanding plot line, that flows really well.

The only that really kept me from giving this book 5 stars was honestly just the fact that the first few chapter didn’t seem as memorizing / compelling as the rest of the book was for me.

I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily. Thank You Tanja for this opportunity to read & review this 💕💕

Tears of Revenge follows Avalon, our FMC, who flees an abusive relationship after being given a second chance by the mysterious Marcus and Varos. 4 years later, Avalon is settled into her new life and slowly healing, but still watching her back, waiting for her past to come back. Surprisingly, she reunites with Marcus and Varos when she starts a new job, and has the chance to get to know them better, along with their broody friend, Lysander. As they grow closer, Avalon’s past isn’t ready to let her go, and our 3 MMCs carry secrets of their own that just might change everything.

I really enjoyed this book. It’s fairly medium-paced to me, and has a lot of sweet moments, but also moments that highlight the trauma that Avalon has gone through. There are a lot of dark scenes in this book, so make sure to check trigger warnings! I loved the surprise NSFW artwork sprinkled throughout! Overall, this was a good read and I look forward to seeing what this author comes up with next!

Consent is so sexy.

Right out of the gate you’re into the meat of the story. The relationships between characters blossomed quickly, and it also felt natural. There is an air of genuine care and respect as they learn each other and explore the changes in their lives. This book is HEAVY on the spice - lots of detail, many different scenarios - if you’re in it for the steam this is definitely for you.

I would have liked more of a backstory - what led up to the FMC getting chosen? I think that would have added a little more depth and context. I would have also enjoyed more conflict. This was a pleasant read, and gives strong positive feelings. Sometimes I like to get a little stressed or angry during a story, and that would have mixed things up a bit.

Overall, a cute and sexy vampire/lycan/human love story with lots of delicious RH action.

Thank you Tanja for the arc!!! 🤩🤩🤩

A reverse harem Vampire romance?! PUH-LEASE, sign me up!! 🥵😭 this was such a fun time - the way they meet 😭🫶🏻 the guys stepping in when Avalon’s pos boyfriend is manhandling her in the parking lot - they decide to take matters into their hands, and boyyyyyyy I’m sweating. They don’t even know her and are protective and possessive, setting her up to leave him behind and start anew.

The coincidence of them ending up in the same place, 4 years later *chefs kiss* some call it fate, I call it also fate 😂😂 Varos and Marcus definitely know how to court a woman, I meannnnnn I would sign up to get spoiled by them, ANY DAY!! And sweet Lysander, he never stood a chance. I just love them all. The bond they all have, and the care they take with each other, the patience they all have with teaching her to love and in her new identity. SO GOOD!!

What to expect:
💋 Reverse Harem MFMM
❤️‍🔥 Open Door (and it’s spicyyyy)
🧛 Vampires
🐺 Lycan (werewolf)
❤️‍🩹 Abuse Survivor
😇 No 3rd Act Breakup

ARC Review

Overall, I enjoyed this book! It is a quick, spicy, character-driven story, without a lot of plot. It is written in third person with multiple POVs. The vampire and lycan lore felt classic (in a good way) with some interesting and unique elements. The FMC and MMCs are all likeable characters. I loved how our FMC really came into her own power throughout the course of the book. The MMCs are, generally, swoon-worthy in the care they show for Ava. There is a priority on consent, which I always love to see in spicy books. I also loved the NSFW art featured in the e-copy I received!

My primary negative note is that, while the three MMCs do have unique personalities, they felt a bit flat at times, and it occasionally took me a second look to identify the correct "he."

Please be sure to mind the content warnings. Our FMC endures (and overcomes) a lot of trauma.

Thank you so much to Tanja for providing me a free copy of the book; I am leaving a voluntary and honest review!

Oh my goodness… I don’t know where to start. I loved the character development throughout the book. The banter between Varos, Marcus, and Lysander was priceless. I found myself giggling along while reading several times. I loved how you were able to see Avalon’s growth throughout the book. This is a spicy book and does have some triggers, so be sure to check trigger warnings before you dive into this book. If you love RH, vampires, Lycans, and tons of spice… I highly recommend. This would have been a 5 star read for me if it was a little longer. Personally, I felt like the story wasn’t over or could have been ended a little differently to provide a little more of a completed feel, it just seemed like the ending was a little rushed to me. Overall, I absolutely loved it, as I have with every Tanja book I have read.

Tears Of Revenge
By: Tanja Longoria
Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Spice Level: 🖤🖤🖤

This was a short and engaging story with a "vamped" up spice level. It follows a straightforward plotline where a broken human, Avalon, is turned into a vampire and needs protection, patience, and love to become the strong woman she was always meant to be, supported by her two vampire mates, Marcus and Varos, and lycan bloodbag, Lysander.

It served as a pleasant afternoon read with a considerable amount of intimate scenes, though I wished there had been more substance beyond that. The story had the potential to evolve into a revenge-driven, spicy supernatural romance but unfortunately fell short in its execution. Despite the fast pace, the writing did not flow smoothly for me, and there were moments of confusion regarding the point of view and the characters being focused on. The three male characters were not distinct enough from each other, making it difficult to follow at times. However, I did appreciate the world-building and backstories.

Absolutely loved this book!

Avalon went through so much and Varos & Marcus gave her a new start in Houston. She starts working as an accountant and meets 4 years later them again.

I loved their little dates with each other, they were adorable! Especially painting together 🥹

How Lysander tried to remain grumpy but crumbled to her anyway. Loved how he became so soft for her

Absolutely loathe Troy how dare he return and get “revenge” on Avalon after 4 years of her escape of him. I was so happy when Marcus and Varos found her.

They struggled so much with her change, their guilt eating away at them. But Avalon came to terms with it and so did they.

Badass moment where she took her earned revenge on Troy carving into his skin and remain to control her blood thirst.

I’m so happy for them all after what they all went through that they found each other 🥹💜

Spice level: 🌶️🌶️🌶️

Recommended this to everyone who love vampire/shifter romance 🤗
