Zachy doesn't mean to be naughty, and with Christmas coming up, he's doubling his efforts to be good, despite nagging feelings that it's much too late for his efforts. Will this overly excitable little finally find the Daddy of his dreams beneath the tree, or will Santa skip Zachy's house again this year, and leave him with nothing to celebrate.
This book is part of A Little Season Three multi-author series. Each book in A Little Christmas is a standalone where every little is silly, unique, lovable, and downright adorable, so why not read them all?
LAYLA DORINE lives among the sprawling prairies of Midwestern America, in a house with more cats than people. She loves hiking, fishing, swimming, martial arts, camping out, photography, cooking, and dabbling with several artistic mediums. In addition, she loves to travel and visit museums, historic, and haunted places.
Layla got hooked on writing as a child, starting with poetry and then branching out, and she hasn’t stopped writing since. Hard times, troubled times, the lives of her characters are never easy, but then what life is? The story is in the struggle, the journey, the triumphs and the falls. She writes about artists, musicians, loners, drifters, dreamers, hippies, bikers, truckers, hunters and all the other folks that she’s met and fallen in love with over the years. Sometimes she writes urban romance and sometimes its aliens crash landing near a roadside bar. When she isn’t writing, or wandering somewhere outdoors, she can often be found curled up with a good book and a kitty on her lap.
Is this book a two star read? No but I'm petty. No preamble, let's get into it.
I'm going to be honest, this book needs a lot of work. The writing is very surface level, The baby talk is cringe, and there are so many typos it's actually a little hard to read. Typos are par for the course in the world of Indy so I never mention them but this is pretty bad. I'm talking early D.J Heart level of bad. He at least had the excuse of being a one-man show. But this baby is part of a multi author series meaning it should have gone through a few rounds of editing improving so I don't know what happened.
But because Zacky was very cute and I've been craving some ageplay, I stuck it out. The book is achingly sweet. Not saccharin but picture kittens wearing bows sitting on clouds made of fairy floss. It's that level of sweet, And when you get to that level it can be too much. I definitely think there were times that were supposed to be a little more adult or a little more emotional but got downplayed by the overall sweet tone. I don't think that's what the author was going for but it's how it felt.
But I can forgive all of that. In fact, I was fine with it for the most part. But where I really got in my feels was Cooper. This should have never been too daddies. Zachy and Gage should have ran off into the sunset together. I didn't understand why Cooper was given multiple chances when he was awful to Zachy for virtually no reason and I wanted him gone. I hated him so much 🤬
So not only am I read about a character I don't like, who does need to be here, but then the smut. We got 1.5 scenes. And I'm saying 1.5 because that first one was closed door and I'm still mad about it. You want to talk about trigger warnings 🤬 If you're going to have closed door smut in your book, that should be on your trigger worrying list and that is the hill I will die on! And the one full one we got was ruined by Cooper so I had nothing! 😡
This review probably isn't making any sense but I'm mad so if y'all could all forgive me that would be nice. I know people like this book, I'm not in that camp and that's fine. 2.5 stars but I'm rounding down because I'm petty.
This was a truly adorable story and I really loved it! Zachy is the sweetest Little, even if he does have more energy than most, and I really liked learning about his unique "adult" job and seeing his club friends again. Daddy Cooper was harder for me to like at the beginning and I really was kind of rooting for Zachy to leave him - but once Daddy Gage stepped in and took charge, I started to see the forces behind why Cooper acted the way he did. Once the three of them made the decision to be together, the relationship really began to blossom and become something that each one of them needed. I would have given this 5* but there were quite a few grammatical errors - especially keeping things straight between which Daddy was speaking. Several simple word errors, spelling and just poor sentence structure all contrived to pull me out of the story a bit and I found myself itching to make corrections. Overall, the storyline is well written, flows nicely, and I enjoyed the characters. A nice holiday read!
I am not gonna lie I could not see how Cooper worked into this dynamic once Gage entered the scene. With Gage being the wonderful human that he is he made this failing duo to become a lasting trio. Copper new to being a Daddy did not handle it well and did make many mistakes, if Zachy weren't such a loving soul, Cooper would have been single. Gage sees this beautiful boy and knows that he wants him to be apart of his life, and in the process shows Cooper the correct way in handling Zachy in bratty little mode. I would like to add I am not placing all the blame on Cooper with their issues, their lack of communication was the major issue, with having an NDA at work, it makes some communication hard. It was nice to see in the end how they all made it work out and I can actually see them thriving together as a group.

This was a sweet story of how little Zachy struggled with an inexperienced Daddy only to find an experienced one who was willing to take them both on. I loved how their relationship developed and that their love for each other meant that there was no real jealousy or resentment. Easy to read and understand. This was an MMM story with mature content and a BSDM-like DDLB dynamic.
A LITTLE CHRISTMAS SEASON THREE has such a great selection of Books that are standalone by Award Winning Multiple Authors. Zachy is a Little who has picked up a bad reputation. Cooper his Daddy has been struggling. Gage has been keeping an eye on both. As sadness hangs over Zachy, Gage decides to step in. These three have to navigate something they never saw coming. LAYLA DORINE has written a MAGNIFICENT Book where these three were meant to be together. I enjoyed this so much. Happy Holidays!!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS BOOK AND THIS A LITTLE CHRISTMAS SEASON THREE SERIES!!!!!!!!!!
I enjoyed the book and loved the characters. The story brought tears to my eyes at times as well. I wanted to give more stars but the editing was bad and I kept getting tossed out the story while I re-read the part and tried to figure out what was missing, if it was the proper text example" was or wasn't ". Once Coopers name was used for both the characters and I had to go back to the chapter to confirm who's Pov was being presented. Overall great imagination. Thoughtful storyline. Bad editing.
This was my first book by this author and the reviews were right, please just get an editor or fire the one you have. I mean between chapters being labeled with the wrong character to sentences having "Zacky explained" when it was supposed to be Gage or Cooper this was an annoying read. I also couldn't wrap my mind around the connection between the 3, I just felt no chemistry there. Ill give it 2 stars since I did finish it but in my heart of hearts this was a 0 star book.
I admit that a couple chapters in I was like, oh my goodness what is Daddy Cooper thinking repressing Zachy's little side. But Daddy Gage was just the person those two needed in their lives. He helped Cooper realize what being a Daddy truly is and he was there when Zachy needed someone on his side. This was a great MMM book. I loved how these three were able to come together.
This is a good story, where each of the characters grow because of the relationships. Zachy is a little trying desperately to do what his Daddy Cooper wants, but Cooper doesn't really know what he's doing, but he does now he's struggling. While at a special event at a club, Zachy is distracted by a performance by Gage, an experienced Daddy, who really knows what Zachy needs. But Gage might also know exactly what Cooper needs as well. This is an MMM story, and a little more explicit, as far as the sexy stuff goes. But the characters are fun, and Zachy is a really sweet little.
A great addition to this series, definitely one of the better ones! Plenty of emotional relationship build with Cooper learning to be a better Daddy with Gage's help. I loved how fluid the storyline was as they grow together.
Well written story and well developed characters. Those are the most important things, to me, in a book. It needs to grab my attention right from the beginning and keep me interested all the way to the end. Boy!! Does this one do that!!
I’d seen this recommended online and the recommendation didn’t do it justice. The story was adorable and precious. I loved every page and the characters. I’d love more about these men
The story would have been better if there wasn't so many misspelled words and mixing up the character's names. I normally don't fuss over a few mistakes, but each chapter has mistakes.
I like how this starts off as a sad story with a story daddy to a story of a family. Three people meet and things happen! There are toys and than there are toys ! I enjoyed the fantasy! 4 out of 5
This is a beautiful daddy little romance. With a well thought out and enjoyable storyline, with such adorable characters that I fell in love with straight away, I absolutely adored this story, cannot wait to read more
A cute, low-angst story. It was endearing watching Zachy and Cooper both grow through the story.
In serious need of professional proof-reading, though. There were some easily avoidable grammatical mistakes, like their for there and phone (🤷🏻) for floor. (Really?)
