I read Lord of the Rings as a child. The wonder and escape were like nothing I had ever experienced. I developed a voracious appetite for fantasy and owe many thanks to the influence of the late Terry Goodkind, Terry Brooks, Raymond E. Feist, Tad Williams, J.K. Rowling, Robert Jordan, and David Eddings, to name a few. Fantasy can provide us with simple entertainment and escapism, but it goes deeper than that. It provides different perspectives, explores themes such as the power of friendship, love, and honour, evokes a sense of wonder, lets us partake in adventures we can only dream about, and teaches us valuable truths to apply in our own lives. More importantly, it allows us to imagine. Albert Einstein said, “Imagination is more important than knowledge.”
I have wanted to write this series for a long time. It returns to the roots of the pure, epic fantasy I grew up with. I have had the good fortune to achieve the highest success in life, but more importantly, the lowest. The latter is a better teacher than the former. I draw from a rich well. I will let you know that beautiful people exist at both ends. Remember, we are all in this together.
The weapons master once said, “Everything you want is on the other side of fear.” I took his advice and put pen to paper. In essence, I broke through my Wall. I hope this book provides all the benefits mentioned above, and more. I never thought that writing fantasy would be more rewarding than reading it. The inspiration and creativity I experienced were more than I could have dreamed of but made possible because I learned how to imagine.
I hope this story connects and makes a difference in your life because, after all, I wrote it for you.

Sincerely,

Terry Ironwood

Not happy. Author did it again. book 5 is not the end of the series. Getting a bit tired of reading these books that are never finished. Just drops you off with a huge cliffhanger. Disgusted. Plus the whole series just seemed to grow more absurd. Started out good, but got more absurd along the way...and this book was by far way out there. Don't waste your time as there is no book 6.

Good Read

I’m liking the general story, but having a hard time rapping my head around the petty human power plays. I can kinda see it, but two full cities are exterminated and the guys in power are still playing around. I guess the Author is trying to make me throw my device at a wall in frustration. IDK
