it’s stalker versus stalker
literally what more do i need to say 😩 this was a super quick read. the plot was a bit boring tbh but i absolutely loved the characters !!!
devin and hawke’s obsession with each other was so captivating. they truly are each others equals in every way 🥰 one night all those years ago and they just can’t let each other go. their obsession grew more and more each day. i love them 🥹
if you’re in the mood for a fast palette cleanser, dark stalker romance, unhealthy obsession, toxic relationship, secrets, revenge, duo pov, and a standalone … immediately add this to your tbr 🖤

this book was boring as hell and all over the place with the timeline, pace, plot, and the characters. the subplot felt hardly necessary, and the cat and mouse game between the mcs felt incredibly stupid (especially after finding out the twist in the later chapters). the characters were very two-dimensional, and despite having somewhat likable personalities, i could not bring myself to care about them at all.
however, the only silver lining in this book is their dynamic. as promised in the blurb and the title, the mmc (hawk rivers) and fmc (devin west) are both obsessed with each other to the point of unhealthy obsession and violent possessiveness (not towards each other ofc). however, since i knew what i was getting into, i was okay with this aspect. but what i truly liked about devin and hawk is that they didn't have any unbalanced power dynamic. they truly were each other's equal and partner in every domain. hawk always treated her and saw her as his equal — which was slightly refreshing for me, considering he falls under the alpha-possessive-male category. on the other hand, devin gave back as much as she got because she was just as obsessed with hawk as he was with her, if not more.
in addition to these, despite their toxicity, hawk and devin also treated each other with genuine warmth, affection, and gentleness — making their relationship more humane and portraying the perfect picture of their twisted love that fits their dynamic.

Once you start reading this book you don’t want to drop it until you have finished it. Since the first chapter you will see the dominance, the love attraction of the characters, Devin and Hawk. Hawk will be the type of guy that is overprotective and his love is intoxicating to the point of dominance (but in a good way) he would do whatever to protect what is his. Devin is the girl that may be overlooked by others but will do whatever to prove herself. Both of the characters are playing a game of fire, who will be the one to get burned? You need to read to find out. I have to say that I fell in love with their connection and how they understood each other. But Devin is holding a secret, will Hawk be able to discover? I encourage to add this book to must read on this year. If a spicy book with spies and obsessive love is it what you are looking for then this is your book.

This was a very entertaining read, great characters and storyline that was simply riveting
This is a very different read but I have to say that the writing was great and the characters Devin and Hawk had been was so well written that it was simply impossible to put down until I reached the end and discovered the outcome.
The two characters are both dark characters she is a hacker and a genius within her field and he is a very evasive character keeping exactly what he is involved with as aa secret of sorts and this does actually add mystery to the read.
The story itself is very a complex and has a good deal of surprises and also keeps you guessing right to the end of the book.
I thoroughly enjoyed the book and look forward to reading any future publications; keep up all the wonderful writing.

Devin a young woman turning 18 her parents throw a party where she meets up with her best friends brother Hawk who gives her the best gift she could ever receive. What Hawk doesn’t know is she has been stalking him for 6 years. But she isn’t exactly aware he was doing the same. But when they finally get together they are awesome in this story. Devin is a heroine, and very talented CEO in her own right but she knows that she and Hawke are just perfect for each other. They both have dark tendencies. Romance suspense thriller. Iread copy without obligation. I volunteered an honest review.

Dark romance, mystery, dark heat, and more. I enjoyed it and recommend readers open their minds for a different Milly Taiden story.

While this wasn't her best story ever, MT did a great job brining this story to life. I would have liked it more if it had been longer to draw out the suspense and give the readers a chance to really get invested in the characters, but it was still very enjoyable. I look forward to seeing what the author writes next.

I absolutely loved the idea of this book. The characters were great. The thing that didn't go was this book should not have been a novella or only 200 pages. This was way too fast-paced. With all the mystery and hidden agendas, it needed to be more drawn out. This could have been a 5-star read for me but it felt like the author just sat down and quickly rushed to write something. I am disappointed.

I loved how original this story was, how both the hero and the heroine were the hunter and the prey, how intense the chemistry between them was. My issue was I wanted more depth and more emotional connection between them.

Like literally what the hell did i just read?! I have freaking whiplash from this plot. My brain cannot compute. The plot jumped around so much it was hella hard to follow and the FMCs action literally made no sense the whole book.

I liked this a lot, was not too dark but was not sweet either. Written well even if the plot was a little predictable still very much worth the read .

Yo, there was an unexpected twist to the story. One that I didn't see at all. All in all, it was actually decently good. Love me some alpha possessive hero.

It was a fast read however lacked a lot, I felt like some moments were so rushed that it just barely covered the surface.

Very different from other books I've read by this author. This one is dark. No lighthearted romance with aliens or supernaturals here. Devin and Hawk are both dark, mysterious, and stalkerish. She is a computer hacker genius and he is... well, we can only assume that the mafia vibe is real as we get no clear indication of what his actual business really is.
Lots of surprises in this story. The last one may shock you, not because it is bad - just unexpected. I greatly enjoyed watching these two dance around each other. I was given an advanced copy of this book by the author. My review is voluntary.
