THE FABRIC OF AMBITION CAN ONLY BE UPHELD BY STRONG THREADS 🧵 OF RELATIONSHIPS, DON’T LOOSE THESE BEAUTIFUL RELATIONSHIPS”

What a beautiful message and what an amazing, wonderful read Two point Two by Ashutosh Kumar.

The last 5 chapters are so crazily binding that one can almost feel the whole scene in front of their eyes while gazing at the words scribbled on the pages.

My eyes must have been teary atleast for 50 times and with gentle smiles in between while riding throug the emotions in order to complete the book.

📕 AND what a twist?
SAAD and ADA together, like Sada forever ♾️, literally?

These 4 names are etched in my mind
ABHIK, ADA, SAAD & DARSH :).

I wish to meet them now, Ashutosh Kumar can you unfurl their images too 🙏 🌻🙃🌼 or do I need to wait for 2.0 of TWO POINT TWO???

I just finished reading Two Point Two by my friend Ashutosh Kumar (a.k.a Baba) from our days at IIT Kharagpur, and I absolutely loved it! The book took me right back to our time on campus. If you’ve ever been to KGP, the 2.2 km road is more than just a stretch—it’s where so many memories were made, and Baba captures that perfectly in this story.

The characters—Darsh, Ada, Abhik, and Saad—are dealing with ambition, friendship, and all the ups and downs of campus life. So many events in the book take me on a journey down memory lane. It felt like I was back there, living it all again.

If you’re into stories about friendship, ambition, and life’s choices, this book is for you. Plus, it’s a fun and quick read. Highly recommend!

Very easy read, and quite an interesting plot. There is a lot of nostalgia in the writing, which is very easily identified with. This a very good debut by Ashutosh.

The nostalgic parts gets a bit too much at times. At these points, it gives the feeling of exclusion of readers who are not from the IIT KGP fraternity.

Editing could have been stricter, in the earlier parts. Latter half of the book is crisper and quicker than the first part, particulalry where character introductions are made.

Carried the attention till the last word!

Amazing fiction read with a blend of memories of IIT KGP! The author’s creativity in crafting the compelling stories around the petty yet invaluable things of KGP is truly remarkable
