Red wolf Kira Westwood is on a mission with the United Shifter Force where she’s trying to track down kidnappers who are gray wolf shifters. What she doesn’t expect is to find a wounded gray wolf—shifter type—who’s an innocent bystander and the boy who has been taken hostage. Now her mission is complicated by leaps and bounds.

Fisher Greystoke can’t believe a walk in the national park has led to nearly being killed and meeting the prettiest red she-wolf he has ever met. But there’s no time for anything but helping her go after kidnappers and joining the United Shifter Force so he can get to know the red wolf a whole lot better while ensuring the rogue wolves don’t take them down first--permanently.

Love, love, love romance, the paranormal, hunky Highlanders with their delicious brogue and hot kilts, so Terry Spear writes about those hunky Highlanders both in medieval times and as wolves in contemporary times. Jaguar shifters too! And young adult urban fantasy. And romantic suspense.

She grew up reading mystery, adventure, mythologies from around the world, ghost stories, the paranormal, fell in love with Dracula and Wolfman, and felt they needed loving too. Everyone should have someone to love. Which means her stories always have a HEA.

USA Today Bestseller residing in Central Texas from Sacramento, California who creates award-winning teddy bears too!

Kira Westwood, a red wolf, is with the United Shifter Force (USF) and is on a mission trying to track down three kidnappers who are gray wolves and can't go into the human system. But along the way she finds a wounded gray wolf and a young boy who had been taken by the kidnappers. Now her mission is more complicated. Fisher Greystoke is shocked to find himself being shot while running in the national park. But it does allow him to meet a beautiful red she-wolf so he's okay. After healing, Fisher helps Kira go after the kidnappers and he's making plans to join the USF so he can stay close to her.

I love all of Terry's books and this one's a prime example of why. First in a new series, this was well-written with wonderful characters and a fast-paced plot. There's action, intrigue, suspense, and romance with that HEA. I was immediately drawn into this tantalizing tale and kept hooked throughout. Terry expertly weaves the paranormal into the "real" world making this one wild book that's a true joy to read. I absolutely loved this book and am eager for the next one.

Fun and exciting story from a super paranormal romance author

Kira is a red wolf USF agent tracking gray wolf kidnappers in a Colorado state park. Fisher is a gray wolf out for a run in the park when he comes upon a kidnapped boy and the kidnappers. After getting shot by the bad guys and meeting Kira, Fisher decides to try to join USF to help her complete her assignment AND get to know her better. But these bad guys are really canny. Can Kira and Fisher capture all of them? Read this to find out.

The pace is fast and the tone is uncertain yet hopeful with a character and action oriented storyline that has some steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and engaging. This brought in lots of characters from another series as well, which was very cool. I love the crossovers that have been happening. I really can't wait to see where all of these go next! If you have never read Terry Spear before, you can start here, but then you will want to go back and read all the other wolf, jaguar and one other shifter group's stories (not gonna spoil the surprise)! Enjoy!

Another great story from Terry Spear!

A great story about mates discovering, and saving, each other and communities working together.

It was great to see favorite characters from Terry's other series. I love it when she has her series intertwine!

I can't wait to read more about the Greystke Wolf Pack!

Another great addition to my Terry Spear collection. Loved seeing the shifter worlds combine and check in with some other characters. This book will definitely be going into my "comfort read" list. Great action, a little mystery, laughs, and romance!

Likeable characters and an interesting story. Nice beginning to a new spinoff series. Enjoyed the cameos of the cougar characters from Yuma town.
