Ok read! Ending slightly rushed. This was an ok read and while it was quite enjoyable it did have a couple of annoying sections. I truly dislike the secret baby troupe where the two main characters reunite and reshape all the initmicies but yet the MFC won't/don't tell the MMC he is the father. I always say you trust him with your person and life but not to be a good dad. That seriously irks me. I also can't believe Slate who really fell for Vick couldn't see her in Emma. That just tickled our intelligence and made me annoyed because their night together was so unforgettable that he contrasted and compared her to other women but had no clue when he reconnected with her. The suspense of the story was great but it felt really rushed and unresolved at the end. I have read one other story in this series (Maverick) and loved it. I don't want to compare the two but don't think I would have read anymore had I read this one first. I kind of felt this story could have ended better but still an ok read.

I really wish that the author would mix up the plot points of these books like just a little bit. She def has a script and doesn't really deviate from it, but I still enjoyed it.

Sidenote... I really REALLY wish the cover models looked like the men described in the books. What is the point of a half naked man on the cover if he isn't the MMC.

Another great addition to the series!

I really loved this book! This is the fifth book in the series and it was amazing! The plot was interesting and flowing, the characters captivating and I couldn’t put my kindle down till the very last page!

I loved both Slate (aka Asher) and Emma. Slate is the hi-tech genius of the Steel Demons MC. He meets Emma at a bar, after a bad break up on her side. So…one-night stand with her giving him a false name, but the hottest night of both their lives. The result of that night is a cute little girl named Ashlyn. And, although Emma tried – not so hard, she admits herself – to find Slate and tell him about Ashlyn, she never did. So, six years pass. But fate has a way to bring them back together – a very weird way, since the Steel Demons MC comes to her rescue from a perilous situation regarding her abusive husband. She recognizes him immediately, he doesn’t (due to her different appearance mostly, but also due to her having given him a different name that night). With the police interrogating her and wanting to find her guilty and her brother-in-law determined to unleash all of his haltered on her, will Slate and Emma find their way to each other? How will Slate react when he finds out who Emma is? What will happen with the police investigation? And how will the MC and Slate protect Emma from her insane, hateful brother-in-law? I couldn’t turn the pages fast enough to find out! I loved Slate’s protectiveness and sweetness toward both Emma and Ashlyn and I also loved how Emma learns, with his help, how to reclaim her fun and bold personality that her abusive husband had stolen and nearly obliterated.

All in all, it was an amazing read, a great addition to an amazing series. I can’t decide which book I like best so far, because each new one, I love! I can’t wait to find out more about the rest of the MC brothers! 5 well-deserved stars!

Suspenseful MC Romance

After a one-night stand years ago Slate and Emma are about to see each other again.

Emma just caught her boyfriend cheating on her with her roommate and went out on the night with her best friend. Ash/Slate happens to be at that very same bar and they have one passionate night together. They had each tried to find the other but to no avail. Now years later Emma is in an extremely abusive relationship and after something horrible happens Slate just happens to be one of the men sent to help her solve her issue with her husband.

Emma knew right away that Slate was her special man she met years ago but with hair change and not expecting to see Emma ever again it takes him a bit to figure out that she was the woman he had been searching for. Now he is the protector for her and her daughter.

With the police trying to pin a murder on Emma the club is at her back protecting her in any way that they can. Add in a crazy brother-in-law and things get intense. Will Slate be able to protect Emma from the police and the bil? Also will Emma’s secret come out and how will Slate react.

This book was a big page turner with plenty of steam and suspense and it was a huge page turner for me.

SLATE is the fifth installment in the Steel Demons MC series. SLATE is another amazing MC romance book which has become one of my many favorite MC romance stories. SLATE is the story of Emma and Slate. Emma is an absolute amazing MFC (Main Female Character) and Slate is a typical MC member male but I absolutely loved him right from the beginning of the book. SLATE is beautifully written, well-balanced, and perfectly executed by Author Sarina Hart. Author Sarina Hart continues to surprise me with her amazingly entertaining MC romance stories that are quite captivating and attention grabber of a book. I thoroughly enjoyed reading SLATE which is an ease to read, has wonderful characters, outstanding storyline, romantic/steamy, definite page-turner, suspenseful, and there’s a happily ever after for the main characters of this book. SLATE is certainly a book that I would give as a suggestion for other readers who enjoy reading MC romance stories. I can hardly wait to read more books from Steel Demons MC series.

Emma just caught her boyfriend with her roommate. She went and got a haircut and dye job.Now she and her best friend are out for a drink when she spies a man coming into the bar. After a drink and pep talk from her bestie she leaves with the man.
Slate saw a cute woman in a bar and was attracted to her. They leave later on together and spend a wonderful night together.
Seven years later Emma has just injured her husband and calls a number for help. That's when she meets Slate again. Now he and his Prez and MC are here helping her. She is coached to go to the police to report her husband missing. Now she is coming under fire from the cops and her husband's brother. She feels as if she's being watched. She and Slate are drawing closer together. She has to tell him about his daughter. But what will happen to her and her daughter when he discovers the truth? Will the MC be able to help her and keep her safe?
A fantastic story within this series.

Slate was a big old softie. There was not much drama with Slate. He was an instalove guy. There was no OW drama. (possible spoilers ahead)

The plot was simple. Slate and Emma meet one night in a bar. They had an amazing ONS. 5 years later, Emma is married and has a 4-year-old daughter (Slate is the daddy but he doesn't know because Emma couldn't find him once she found out she was pregnant)
Emma's husband is garbage. He was beating her and her daughter one night and Emma killed him. Emma called the number of a guy she met in her domestic violence classes. That leads to the MC showing up to "help" her. Welp, baby daddy Slate is one of the bikers who shows up to help. He does NOT recognize her. She recognized him but didn't tell him that kid was his. Emma and the kid end up staying at Slate's house. Eventually, he does find out and there is not a lot of anger from him. He is understanding.

Most of the drama in this book deals with Emma killing her husband and trying to keep that hidden from his crazy brother.

Domestic violence has been occurring for a while between Emma and her husband, when no one steps up to help her, Emma ends up taking matters into her own hands when he goes after her daughter. Calling the Steel Demons, they come to her rescue, but when police officers and his brother make waves and start harassing Emma, will Slate and the Steel Demons be able to help?

I enjoyed it a lot, actually. Couldn't put it down, which made for another sleepless night. Emma has ghosts in her eyes and severe chains around her ankles, and her husband only slaps her around. And finding the father of her child when the blood of her husband is still fresh in her hands could throw anyone out of her axis. However, she should have come clean sooner. She trusts him her body but not the paternity of her child? That's the only thing that irks me. And Slate... Couldn't he open his eyes soones? Different name, different hair style and he can't see beyond that? Unglue your eyes from the computer, man!

However years later when she needed help, he came back into her life. I liked how he protected Emma and their daughter. Emma made bad choices and paid the price but was fierce to protect her daughter. I'm glad they are all free of her abuser and his family. Now Slate, Emma and their daughter can be a family. The story was very realistic.

Emma and Slate’s story has them meeting again after a one nighter years ago when she hurts her husband and calls the MC for help. When the MC comes they help her but there is someone stalking her and the cops are snooping around. But with the way Slate feels about her he tries to keep it to hisself but when she lets him know they have a daughter from their time together how will that play into the mix. Good MC story.

This was an exciting MC romance that gives Emma and Slate a second chance at a happy ending. These two met, years ago, and had a wonderful one-nighter. She found herself pregnant afterwards but had no way to track him down. Now, she needs help and protection, and she calls a number that leads her back to him. The chemistry is strong between them but it takes Slate a bit to realize she actually is the gal that has had his attention for all these years... Expect to get caught up in the drama, plot, suspense and heat as these two embarque on their tough journey to a fab HEA. Good fun!

Great story!!

This is the fifth book in this phenomenal series and this is Slate and Emma's story.
This is a well written action packed, easy to story, with found family, friendships, emotions, trauma, danger, suspense, intrigue, challenges, secrets, humour, determination, acceptance, undeniable chemistry, and leads to an entertaining, tragic, heartfelt, and compelling addictive page turner.
I look forward to reading more from this talented author whose work I highly recommend.

Emma goes to the demons for protection afte getting rid of her abusiv husband only he mets Slate before and holds a secrets, Slates drawn to Emma but knows shes been through lot so holds back, but with the cops and a stalker closing in he will do anything to protect her but what of the secret that binds them? well written steamy desires, second chances, one night stand and more.

Emma kept thinking she found Mr. Right and definitely got stuck with Mr. Wrong. After her cheating boyfriend and an abusive surgeon husband, it was an MC brother that was perfect man. I loved how Slate stepped up in every way for her and the author didn't create unnecessary drama when the truth was revealed between Emma and Slate. Fantastic story with just the right amount of romance and suspense to keep you interested.

This is book five of the series, and it's a doozy. The only thing I didn't like about the book was Emma's hesitation to tell Slate about their daughter. Great series

I'm really enjoying this series, each story is unique and I can't wait for the next book. The book series is full of drama, action romance family and love. MC family backing each other without hesitation. Each book got a happy ending. Great writing will recommend this series to all p.g. readers. Hope there is a book about each member in this series. Its not to violent but it touches what happens in real life.

Loved this one

Domestic violence has no place in this world but sadly it does exist. Asher and Vick found each other in a bar and had a wild night. Years later Slate and Emma meet under terrible circumstances. They found each other again but a little extra is added into the mix. This is a story of struggle, pain and bravery. But also found love and family.

Great!

I chose this rating because this was a pretty good book. This was a book of compassion, kindness, determination, doing what needs to be done. I enjoyed Slate and Emma story. She had an abusive husband but the Steel Demons MC l helped her out. She and her daughter were now safe. I really enjoyed this story, I also enjoyed the ending everything turned out as it should have been, Great read! I recommend this book to all romance readers and MC lovers.

Wow, just wow. I'm glad Emma/ Vick was able to get out of that bad situation. Its crazy how the brother-in-law was exactly the same thing as his brother. Slade was hung up on Vick so long I don't know how he didn't recognize her from he walked into the house.
