The Wrong Brother

Rate this book
FROM EXCITING AUTHOR OF NEW ADULT ROMANCE MAREN JENNER

Book one in the Wrighting the Wrongs series

Leah chose the wrong brother—she just doesn’t know it yet.

Leah Parker has always found Shawn to be the most attractive of the Wrighting brothers, and the most complicated. Which is why she chooses his predictable, steady brother, Sebastian, to date after an ex leaves her confidence shattered and reputation ruined. While Sebastian is the perfect option to ease back into the dating pool, they make better friends than lovers and part amicably.

It’s Leah’s senior year of college and she is more than looking forward to Spring Break with the brothers, until Sebastian backs out. Now she has to face the trip single and without her best friend. Shawn’s yo-yo mood swings—sweet one minute and grumpy the next—make her even more apprehensive, despite Sebastian’s reassurances that Shawn will look out for her.

Shawn loves pushing Leah’s buttons, even if it makes her think he hates her. Her angry responses to him are the only times he glimpses the fiery woman she used to be before her jerk of an ex-boyfriend got a hold of her. He misses that spitfire woman. The way her blue eyes flash when she’s mad and how she flays him with her sharp words is nothing short of amazing. But things get complicated when he’s forced to face his tangled mess of emotions head-on.

Their upcoming Spring Break trip offers Shawn the chance to own up to his true feelings, show Leah what she truly means to him and tackle the hardest task of all—convincing her that she was with the wrong brother.

✨ARC REVIEW✨

This book is a good intro in the world of New Adult Fiction/ Romance, it has just enough spice but nothing over the top!

This book follows MFC Leah, who hasn’t always made the right choices and had lackluster love interests. Leah battles with some trauma baggage and carries that heavy through out this book. She lives in a college house with her long time childhood best friends that are 4 brothers & her best friend Meg. They are all navigating life in different stages of college, with Leah and MMC Shawn being in their final year.

Leah is dating Sebastian, the younger brother of Shawn. He’s the safe bet brother. She feels safe with Sebastian and loves him dearly.. as a friend.

Shawn is the “push her buttons till she breaks” brother and also secretly loves Leah. Shawn decided a long time ago that they couldn’t and wouldn’t be together so he puts that wall up.

After a last minute cancellation in Sebastian’s part, Leah and Shawn find themselves on Spring Break trip together & they make the most of the time they spend to get to know each other again and possibly turn themselves from Enemies into Friends!

This slow burn, safe choice/ wrong brother romance is the first of a series. I’m looking forward to following the plot as the Wright brothers navigate their love lives.. selfishly i’m hoping the spice is upped a little as the series continues!

I have such mixed feelings on this book.

I like this author and her writing style so I keep coming back, even though I don’t particularly enjoy characters in this age group. I spend a lot of time frustrated by their actions. It detracts from the enjoyment of the book for me, but I didn’t reduce my rating because that’s a me thing, not anything wrong with the book.

I did feel like some of it dragged out far too long, and I did knock a star off for that. I debated between 3 and 4 stars and ultimately rounded up because it started with so much anticipation. She had an incident that formed a lot of her behaviors and I wished there was another short paragraph somewhere explaining it a little more. There were a lot of hints about a big event and other people’s behavior during and after and it just felt talked about like of course you already know about it. Without more context her behavior seems wildly overblown at times. For real get some therapy if you’re that messed up about it because it’s not healthy to act like you are.

What a fantastic way to start the Wrighting brothers series! While we get to know all four of the brothers in this book a little bit, this one focuses on Shawn and his relationship with Leah, a lifelong friend of the family. This is a great enemies to lovers story, with the two of them going from enemies to friends to lovers. Leah had something horrible happen to her and she has to work through it. Shawn is there for her every step of the way to help her. I love how sweet and caring Shawn is and all of the thoughtful ways he comes up with to show her how much she means to him. Leah is there for all of the brothers but Shawn is the one who holds her heart. I love their story and I can’t wait for the next brother to get his HEA too!

Oh my gosh this was so good! The FMC goes through very real struggles including anxiety, bullying, unwanted touch, and not knowing how to handle the feelings she has. While all 4 brothers are single and emotionally available, the one she falls for is the least expected. I love that the FMC and brother she falls for both take time to build a friendship first instead of jumping in head first to something serious. I’m hoping more books come that show the other brothers finding their person too!

Leah and Shawn have known each other their whole lives, up until a pool party kiss he always saw her as the little sister of the group. Now he can’t process what he feels for her. Leah thinks Shawn hates her because of his constant teasing and banter back and forth. Little does she know what will unfold over spring break! Great book, with all the feels. Check the triggers for mental health on this one!

This slow burn romance delicately unveils the challenges today's young adults struggle with when it comes to mental health. The bully's, the pressure to do great and be perfect, the struggle for people with trauma to just enjoy what should be a simple moment. Maren did a wonderful job at depicting Leah's strengths but also her struggles. Leah has experienced some pretty serious trauma (ahem, check your triggers sensitive readers) and I never once felt like that part of her was too much in the forefront of the story. I never felt pity as a reader for this character. Which I think is a real challenge to create a diverse MC that's likable but still has a lot of struggles and this author did it.

I enjoyed the found family aspects here of Leah, Shawn, Sebastian and the other two brothers (Silas and Steven?) being childhood friends. But beyond that background and Shawn's desire to be a PE teacher, I would have liked his character to be a little more developed. I feel like Leah stole the show in character development. That being said, I absolutely loved Shawns character. He was perfect, once he got out of his own way and once Sebastian gave his blessing. There's a little bit of a love triangle going on here, but not exactly, because the timing isn't there, as Sebastian and Leah were definitely broken up before Shawn even tried to get her attention.
I loved that all of the Wrighting Brothers loved Leah in their own way and did what they could to take care of her, knowing her struggles. Knowing when to push and when to let her be. It's a really special family unit they have. I sincerely hope all of the other brothers (Meg too) will be getting their own books.

Overall if you are looking for a NA romance with depth and a splash of spice give this book a read.

Quick Review:

⭐️ 4.5/5 stars –This one was just so satisfying. A cozy, slow-burn romance packed with tension, soft moments, and all the brotherly chaos you didn’t know you needed.

🌶️ 3/5 Spice Rating – We’ve got delicious slow burn tension, thigh clenching build-up, and when it finally hits? It smacks you in the face. There’s a mix of sweet and steamy, with a couple open-door scenes that are more about connection than kink—but still hot enough to make you blush. Think emotional intimacy meets “I’ve wanted this forever” vibes.

🖤 1/5 Darkness Rating – Check trigger warnings. While this is not a “dark romance”
There are some possible triggers in the book and heavy topics that are covered.

What I Loved:

The BANTER. The SLOW BURN. The way I wanted to strangle Shawn and kiss him all at once. And don’t even get me started on the found family vibes and chaotic brother energy—chef’s kiss. Leah was giving quiet strength and second-chance sass, and I was living for her journey. Also, the tension between her and Shawn?? Simmering. Like garlic in a pan simmering.

The Story (No Spoilers!):

So here’s the deal—Leah’s living with four brothers (including her super safe boyfriend) who she’s grown up with her whole life. And then she accidentally catches feelings for the one guy she definitely shouldn’t. (Yep. The grumpy one. Of course it is.) Cue: spring break, one bed vibes, emotional whiplash, and some truly top-tier pining. The emotional growth? The healing? The slow realization that maybe she picked the wrong brother all along? It’s so good.

Final thoughts:

This book just hit in all the right ways. It was warm, heartfelt, and had me smiling like an idiot one minute and clutching my chest the next. Leah’s quiet strength and Shawn’s ‘I’m grumpy, but I’ll do literally anything for you’ energy totally got me. It felt real—like watching two people figure themselves out and fall in love at the same time. No crazy drama, no unnecessary angst… just a genuinely good story that left me feeling happy and a little gooey inside.

This was the perfect palate cleanser. Having read Maren's first series, was keen to read what the next offering was.

Leah is our FMC, and in the beginning of the book, is in a relationship with Sebastian, one of the Wrighting Brothers, and there is 4. They all share a place together, along with Leah's best friend Meg. Leah has had a significant, life altering event, that sees her struggle with anxiety and panic attacks, but is most comfortable and gathers support from "this" family. Leah loves to indulge in romance books but, with Sebastian, she loves him, but there isn't that chemistry she reads about.

Shawn is our MMC, and Leah and him have a love/hate relationship. Shawn does and says things that just grind's Leah's gears, and after a pool party incident, she has assumed he doesn't like her. He is there when she needs all the brothers, but he also feels he is the cause. But, he does "see her".

The time to explore what there is to a relationship, starts as merely trying to find their way back to be ing friends, and Leah finding herself once again, her voice. Sebastian and Leah know that their relationship is nothing more than friendship. This takes place during a holiday on Spring Break, where Sebastian is unable to go, but asks Shawn to watch out for her. It is simply the cutest story, and the way Shawn steps up and sees, what, the other brothers don't just gives all the feels. How he supports Leah is beautifully written, but also, how the brothers support each other, and want Shawn to see he is the right one for Leah, is just the best. Shawn is all the things Leah needs, he his patient, thoughtful and kind. I am excited to see how the other Wrighting's are represented, and congratulations Maren on the beginning of what will be, a good series.

The Wrong Brother by Maren Jenner
ARC Review (Comes out in 6 days)
* This is book 1 in this new series*

Rating: 4.75/5 Stars

This is yet again another enjoyable and very cute romance read series from Maren Jenner! This is not similar to her last series, for those of you who have read the Sweet Nothing Trilogy, but it is still within the romantic range just on wrighting the wrongs.

This was a very cute, short, and oh so very sweet storyline that tells the story of a boy who falls head first for the girl. Kind of along the lines of a disney/hallmark feeling and with the point of not wanting to put down the book once you start reading it (at least that is what happened for me). The pace of the story, I personally found to be on the faster side, but it didn’t feel rushed, thankfully. When reading through the book, I felt there were good connections and bonds between the two main characters and that their romance was well developed. I also felt that the build within the relationship was something that was very needed within their storylines, and it helped in shaping our characters. Overall, there were moments throughout where I oohed and awed, but there were also the small amounts of gasping and saying that Shawn, I might just be slightly in love with you right now!! The characters were very well written, to the point that I felt everyone would love Shawn as much as I have and that others would love Leah so much because they might relate to her. Everything was great, and I look very much forward to book 2, whenever that comes out!!!

This book is a slow burn romantic fiction that focuses on Shawn, one of the charming Wright brothers, and Leah, who’s still healing from the trauma caused by her ex-boyfriend. To feel safe, she’s been dating her best friend, Sebastian (Shawn's brother), although there’s no romance between them.

Shawn, meanwhile, is constantly teasing Leah, trying to bring out the spark she once had, not even realizing he’s in love with her. He's always felt that he’s not good enough for her.

When Shawn finally has to face his feelings, he knows she's with the wrong brother. During spring break, he’s determined to earn her trust and show her they could be so much more together.

I absolutely loved how the Wright brothers were always there for Shawn. Whether he needed a confidence boost or help sorting out his feelings for Leah, they had his back. And honestly, Shawn, how could you friend-zone Leah when you’re in love with her? 😂

The story is light and fun, but be sure to check the trigger warnings because there are mentions of trauma. Personally, I think the book could’ve used a little more—maybe a major event to really deepen Shawn and Leah’s relationship. Also, I would've loved more backstory on how Leah and Sebastian even started dating.

I recieved this book as and ARC and I enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next book.❤️

**Sweet Coming-of-Age Love Story**

This delightful start to a new series explores the journey of childhood friends who grow closer and become each other's chosen family while navigating the ups and downs of growing up and graduating from college.

After experiencing trauma, Leah finds support through her childhood friends, the four Wrighting brothers. She's always had a crush on Shawn, but his unpredictable behavior makes her feel like he doesn't really like her. In search of some stability, she starts dating his brother, Sebastian, though they quickly realize they're better off as friends.

On the other hand, Shawn has secretly liked Leah for a while now but doubts whether he's good enough for her. He often teases her to help bring out the confident, spirited girl he knows is still in there.

When Spring Break rolls around, Leah is super excited for a fun trip. But just when things are looking good, Sebastian can't make it, and Shawn steps up to keep an eye on her instead. As they spend time together, they start to reconnect, and sparks begin to fly.

This story is wonderfully written, and the characters' backstories are really engaging. It's a slow burn but moves quickly enough that you can easily read it in one sitting. I can’t wait to see how the rest of the Wrighting brothers find their own HEA in this series!

"Even when we were enemies, he looked out for me." - Leah

“I will never take your panic personally, Lee. I want to be with you every step of the way. Because one day, all of this will be nothing more than a memory and you’ll be whole again.” - Shawn

Shawn has always protected and paid attention to Leah, even when she didn't see it herself. For example he remembers her favorite candy from years ago and gives it to her, to show that he cares. He is just really thoughtful and respectful of her personal space and boundaries. They are both interested in each other but they took their time, they became friends and then slowly it became more, I really loved that they worked on their connection first. The romance wasn't rushed, just what they both needed.

I really love the timing of this book. Leah's been through a lot and Shawn didn't want to trigger her, he does little things for her and she takes care of him and his brothers. Leah and Sebastian are so much better as friends! I'm so excited to read Sebastian’s book. This is a really fun and loving family, they are all very close and their is no jealousy, they are just a big family that wants to help each other! That in itself is very healthy and refreshing to read. They could have treated each other better at times but their was also character development and conversations about their behaviors and feelings.

If you're looking for a great PGish romance book - this one is for you! There is some talk about domestic abuse and the pain/mental struggles it can cause, so there's your TW in case you don't think you can read a book that touches on that subject matter.

The PROS - Loved that it was a quick read! The college romance story line will have you thinking about your own relationships from that time. The introduction of characters and their descriptions were excellent. You could really imagine each brother and the lead female character as you read through the book. Dual - POV is ALWAYS a favorite! I love being able to know what each character is feeling/thinking.

The Drawback - This is likely just my personality, but I didn't love reading about either main character's lack of self-esteem or validity in their feelings/actions. I'm sure it was intentional because college students of that age ARE going to experience those things. There was just a little too much of the female character withdrawing, that while it did add to the story line, I think it could have been scaled back a bit and the point still would have come through.

Overall, I would recommend the book to those looking for a not too spicy romance book to read over a weekend (or day!).

You know when a book just hooks you? Well, I may have stayed up til almost 1am. last night reading this. I couldn't put it down. I was emotionally invested in this story.
Leah has had a rough start with her love life, with a total @$$ of an ex. Trauma and fear have her walls so far up that she is in the loosest term of a relationship with one brother, the safe brother, the one to be her best friend. They all live together, so he's the one who helped.
Shawn is the grumpy brother that is very standoffish with Leah, tormenting, challenging, etc. The terms enemies to lovers, imo is a bit of an exaggeration. They're both creating distance out of fear, but they definitely don't hate each other.
This book had the slowest burn, mutual pining, and courting. We followed them into building friendship and then slowly healing along the way, turning into more. The way Maren wrote, you could feel the tension, chemistry, and butterflies yourself. I felt like I was at the house, at the beach, I was there with them.
Now I am not always a slow burn girly, but this book I loved. The buildup was there, but the steam and the hot moments were also there. From catching glimpses to kisses to sharing beds, then they eventually and slowly moved through bases, healing Leah's trauma along the way. It was seriously the sweetest and yet steamiest book. I loved it.

The brothers romance series we have all been waiting for - another fun, sweet, and sexy contemp romance from author Maren Jenner!

This book is the first in a new series of dual POV romances following the four brothers of the Wrighting family. Book one follows Leah and Shawn. Leah starts off dating the wrong Wrighting brother (how freaking cute is that wordplay?!). Sebastian is sweet and safe and a very good friend, perfect for Leah as she overcomes a recent relationship trauma in her past. But he’s not the *right* brother for her.

Waiting in the wings is Shawn - a little older, a little more cocksure, a whole lot more quietly in love with Leah and pining from the sidelines 😍 the angst in this book is 10/10 and I simply adore Shawn. I cannot resist a (loveably) grumpy “I can’t have her even thought I want to” hero.

This is a slow burn, (childhood) friends to enemies to lovers romance filled with all the fun tropes - spring break, found family, he falls first/hard, rivals… it’s a five star romance read. I can’t wait for the next book in the series to watch Sebastian find his perfect match!

The Wrong Brother is a sweet and heartfelt NA contemporary college romance and book one in the Wrighting the Wrongs series. The slow burn, childhood friends to rivals/enemies to lovers was so perfect. I really loved this one! The characters all felt very authentic, real and easy to connect with. I especially loved Shawn and Sebastian.

Sebastian is Leah’s best friend and safety net, exactly what she needed in a boyfriend at the time. He is also autistic and has type 1 diabetes, and the representation is incredible. It is all showing without telling.

I loved Shawn and Leah! The angst, the banter and their whole romance arc is all beautifully done. They developed a friendship before pursuing a relationship which really strengthened them as a couple for me. Leah has become a shell of herself as she works through past trauma all while falling in love. Shawn presses all her buttons, teases her and lets her think he hates her, hoping to see her spark return, to see her return to who she was before. Shawn gives off major Rhysand vibes, and I ate it up. He is seriously the sweetest book boyfriend ever.

Thank you Maren Jenner for the amazing opportunity to be on your ARC reader team!

This book intrigued me from the title alone. We see so many different books with this idea, the main character wants one brother more than another, or there's a love triangle, but I have to admit, Maren Jenners way of writing this was done beautifully. Similar of course to different books such as ‘The Summer I turned Pretty’ or ‘My Life with The Water Boys,’ this author still managed to have their own twist on this summer (or should I say spring) love. There were extremely few moments where the story felt dull, and I was left screaming at my pages at times too. I feel like with books like this, it's hard to make a smooth switch from one brother to another, yet this author managed to do it flawlessly and with good reason. Another thing I loved, is seeing the brotherly love between the Wrighting brothers. We see so much sisterly love in books and media, that it is a nice change to see such a good bond between brothers. To conclude this review before I ramble too much, it was such a great story and I really cannot wait for the sequel.

Honest review as an ARC reader. 3.75 rated up.

Honestly, I had mixed reviews from this book. Although the storyline is great and I could see where it was going, there could have been... more.

How did Leah and Seb start dating? How did Leah go from having a panic attack from one kiss to using sex as a bargining chip a couple weeks later? Why didn't they tell her to go to therapy?

Although the brothers and Meg were there and they are great side characters and great friends, they aren't professionals, and Leah really needed help with her trauma.

The love story between the two main characters was actually quite sweet, and honestly (although I do love a smutty book), this would have been great without it, or have it as fade to black as the more "adult" themed came out towards the end I started to think this was a YA (if it wasn't for the occasional curse word)

Would I read this again.. maybe. Would I read the rest of the series to find out what happens to the rest of the brothers... hell yes!

This is a sweet new adult romance following Leah our FMC and Shawn one of four of the Wrighting brothers. They all have been longtime friends and she starts off dating the “safe” brother Sebastian although she is attracted to Shawn. Unknown the Leah but Shawn has been pining for Leah, but he didn’t think he was good enough for her so he laid low and didn’t persue her. With their snarky banter she always felt he didn’t like her.

Leah had past trauma she has been dealing with and Shawn is there helping her through it. After Leah and Sebastian agree that they have more of a friendship, in comes Shawn. This is a very slow burn but I enjoyed how Shawn and Leah developed their friendship first before the romance started.

This is such a sweet romance and I enjoyed getting to know Leah and all of the brothers. I felt the author was sensitive in her writing about the trauma that Leah went through. This book is a great start to this series and I look forward to the next book and follow the journey of love for the rest of the brothers.

I received an ARC of this book. My review is my own.

This is a very cute romance by Maren Jenner.
The story is about Leah and Shaun and their love journey. They are so cute together. They have grown up together, and they both had feelings for each other, but misunderstandings got in the way.
The way that Shaun is always there for Leah is so sweet. He is always there to catch her even though she thinks he hates her.
Their love journey felt very natural. It moved at a great pace and felt right for them. Leah struggled after an abusive ex-boyfriend, and the way that Shaun and the rest of the brothers love her really shows throughout.

This was the 1st book in this series, and I am looking forward to reading the rest when they are released.

There are some TWs in this book, so don't forget to check them out, but overall a very good book that I would recommend to others.

This was such a good intro to the Wrighting brothers series! I thoroughly enjoyed this book.

While this book is about Leah and Shawn, you really get to know all of the brothers which I loved because now I am so invested in this entire series.

This is a VERY slow burn. There is some spice but its absolutely not the focus of the story, so if you are new to romance or prefer books with less spice- this is for you.

Its enemies-to-lovers, found family, he falls first and HARD.

Leah has been through some trauma and is now a shell of her former self. Shawn enjoys pushing her and making her mad on purpose because it brings out glimpses of what she was like before. But even when they hate each other (really she just hates him) he is dependable. He has the perfect Golden Retriever energy.

He very much gives touch her and die vibes and I loved it.

I absolutely can't wait for the next book!!!!

This was a cute, quick read.
This book is about Shawn and Leah.
I loved the friends to lovers' aspect. The fact that they were childhood friends, and both have had feelings for one another throughout the years. The fact that his brothers protected her and cared for her on some sort of level, but Shawn was the one in love with her, it just took his brother Sebastian calling him out on it for him to realize. I loved how Shawn took his time with Leah and didn't rush things being as she had a bad experience before, and she was struggling with her demons from that. I loved that her friends showed her that they loved her, and she comes to realize that no matter what they are there for her and love her! She gets her spark back! I would recommend this book to others!

A slow burn, angsty read. I liked the development of the characters and how close they all were, as Leah and the Wrighting brothers grew up together. Leah had a crush on Shawn growing up but was in a relationship with Sebastian.

Leah had went through a traumatic experience with her ex and as a result, fell into a relationship with Sebastian, her best friend and safety net. Her and Sebastian break up before Spring Break when they all are supposed to go on a trip.

Shawn always found a way to press her buttons, to push her outside her comfort zone, in his own way he is helping her. In little ways, he is always there for her because he has also had feelings for Leah. I liked how he worked to show Leah she could trust him.

Love Leah & Shawn

The Wrong Brother by Maren Jenner, book one of the Wrighting the Wrongs series, is a good slow burn but boy is it worth it!

Leah has been hurt in the past but luckily she lives with her best friend Meg and the Wrighting brothers, all are fiercely protective of her and she takes care of them and looks after all of them.
She never meant to fall for Shawn.

This book was well written, the characters are all so interesting and lovable. There’s undeniable chemistry between Lee and Shawn and I love their banter, everything about their romance is adorable.

This is a great start to the series, I can’t wait to find out what happens with the rest of the brothers! I recommend for an enemies to lovers, slow burn, angsty college romance with a happy ending!

The Wrong Brother by Maren Jenner
Wrighting the Wrings Book 1

This is a YA romance, so I have to get in that headspace when it comes to characters. Leah is our FMC and has had some trauma that leaves her dealing with the aftermath of emotional trauma. With any normal young 20 something, her idea of dealing with it is shutting everyone out. Leah dates the safe brother, Sebastian when she really knows that he’s more of her best friend than significant other. Once that is out of the way, in comes her enemy, Shawn… Shawn is that boy in elementary that “bullied” because they liked the girl. Their banter was good, I liked seeing an MMC get all worked up over things. I’m glad to see them grow up throughout the other books, so I hope we get small snippets of other characters.

This book was SO sweet! There is a lot to unpack here, but the overall vibe of the book was a mix of gut-wrenching and sweet.

First of all....these Writing brothers are all absolutely precious and I can't wait to read about all of them!

Then there is Leah who is just doing her best to survive after being completely traumatized by an ex. The circle of people and support she has is truly amazing and getting to see the moments where they are all these for each other were so heartwarming.

Getting to see Shawn open up more throughout the book....whew. talk about a book boyfriend. He is a golden retriever to the letter!

Shawn and Leah's journey is a ride, but it is so worth it in the end!

I thought this book was so cute, and I'm ready for the next one!

Overall: recommend

This book centers around Leah, she is a young woman who has gone through trauma and is struggling to overcome it. She is currently living with her best friend Meg and the formable Wrighting brothers, and she is currently dating one brother, Sebastian. Leah has to go through a journey to realize that while Sebastian is a great choice, its not the right choice for her, not while another brother, Shawn is right there to save her every time. This books has a lot of ups and downs, Leah is struggling with her mental health but does eventually get to a happy ending. Such heart and care was put into this story that so many young women can relate to, really enjoyed it.

I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this amazing novel and am leaving a review of my own thoughts and feelings.

I enjoyed this story! Leah and Shawn were rivals as kids and now they find themselves on a College Spring Break trip. Even as they clash there is no question these two have great chemistry!

Leah is struggling with some past trauma and Shawn has been fighting his feelings for years. Shawn a complete sweetheart behind his grumpy exterior. I really liked the slow burn/friendship building that happened between them.

I loved the nicknames and Leah’s relationship with Shawn’s brothers. I can’t wait to read the next books!

This was a sweet Enemies to Lovers story. Leah has been through some trama and bullying and is currently dating her best friend. When the people around her start to question the relationship she does as well and ends up ending that relationship. Spring break rolls around and the right brother for her has laid the ground work to take their relationship from enemies to lovers takes his chance to prove to her that he is the right bother for her. This book was really sweet. I loved how the author acknowledges the writing tropes and used it as research. Leah and Shawn were great and their chemistry was off the pages hot. I can’t wait to see what the next book and brother will bring.

Maren Jenner is a wonderful author. I was thrilled to be able to read another book of hers. This was such a fantastic read. I really enjoyed all the characters. I love the back and forth banter between Leah and Shawn. I love a good enemies to lovers and this book definitely had it. I loved the relationship Leah had with all of the Wrighting brothers. Knowing that Leah and Shawn both had feelings for one another they just needed to admit it to themselves. This was a cute story that really flowed well. There was the perfect amount of spice in this book as well. I really enjoyed being able to see where Leah and Shawn would end up.
