A hidden fortune.
A ruthless predator.
When an old Navy buddy goes missing in search of lost treasure, Tyson and JD vow to find him. A promise made to his daughter takes the duo on a tropical adventure they’ll never forget, and it may just be their last.

In a remote part of the world and out of their jurisdiction, the deputies are on their own. Finding a guide to take them to the cursed island proves challenging. No one has ever returned.

Perhaps they should heed the warnings. Stubbornness and determination may be their undoing.

The beautiful island is full of natural perils—greed the most treacherous of all. To find their friend, they must find the treasure. But some things are best left hidden.

The situation goes from bad to worse, and the duo finds themselves paired with unlikely and troublesome companions. Their predicament turns deadly, and the deputies must navigate a perilous jungle of malice, envy, and betrayal.

The mysterious island won’t reveal her secrets without extracting a toll. A toll that must be paid in blood.

Will the best friends discover their missing friend, or will they be lost forever?

It’s mayhem, maps, and malevolence as the best friends solve the mystery of Pirate Island.

Enjoyed this one as usual. A different locale and different characters. Nice change of pace, but would like to go back to what hooked me to begin with. JD had such a small part in this one and I missed him. I missed Teagan, Paris, the Sheriff, the restaurants and bars, and of course, the crimes. One thing I’ve noticed frequently is that perhaps a new proofreader needs to take a second look. In this one, we had ores for oars and taught for taut. It is distracting. I am looking forward to Wild Snow!

Avid fan but not my cup of tea!

Having read every book in the series, I'm an avid fan of Tyson and JD. There are only two books in the entire series that have gotten less than 5 stars from me - Tyson's trip to hell and this one. I read for enjoyment and escape. While the series is not sunshine and roses, the main characters are likeable and fun. Nothing about this latest book was fun for me.

Wild Treasure

Tripp you never cease to amaze me with the stories that you write. I have read every one and have the next one on my calendar. Thank you for your stories that are not so long and boring to make your books. They are action packed, quick moving and full of surprises like Wild Treasure! I appreciate and always look forward to your next!

Vic review

As usual, this was an excellent crafted story. Lots of unexpected twists. After reading, I don't think I want to travel to small, third world countries as much. This was a fast, enjoyable read.

I love this book series, but I think this is my least favorite book in the series. Seems that the quality of the story when they are back in Florida is much better and not going on some strange unrealistic trip. The storyline in this book was sometime borderline embarrassing.

Treasure

Great story. So many highs and lows and of course good and bad intentions. So many bad and sad things.

Volcanic Adventure

This may be my favorite Tyson Wild Thriller ever. Much easier to keep track of all of the characters involved. The twists and turns were weird and unexpected.
