This series has a direction now, and it's pretty straightforward although I wonder where it's all leading.

Earth has been cut off from Heaven and Hell, but there's a bunch of angels and demons and such trapped on Earth and all playing games to get back where they came from, or if that isn't possible, to rule the Earth. Spawn is caught in the middle and seems to want to end both sides.

There's a lot of old school Spawn characters running around, and the art fits the title perfectly. I do see the potential for this storyline being too drawn out, but time will tell.
