To truly go where no one has gone before

"But this mission was bigger than any one of them. It was about the future of humanity."

This absolutely riveting tale of space colonization caught me from the first page and never let me go. Told like some space invasion sci-fi stories but in reverse as Earth "invades" Ross 128 b, with the exception of 1 violent encounter it's pretty calm and DenHartog shows his environmental hopes for us as humans in the care the Rosslings are giving their new home. Highly Recommended 5/5

it could happen, but not in my lifetime..

I love reading books about colonizing new planets. This one kept my interest. Putting the info about the alien artifacts makes you think. Is there actual technology out in the cosmos just waiting to be found . Maybe, they have already found us, but by the way this world is going, they choose not to show themselves yet. We will have to wait and see.
