Enter the Den of Debauchery…It’s Founder’s Day in Crimson Cove and even as the town’s darkest secrets are masked by carnival lights and laughter, a serial killer leaves a trail of butchered bodies in his wake. The line between man and monster blurs with every fresh corpse, and to save those he’s sworn to protect, Sheriff Ethan Hunter must first determine whether his quarry is flesh and blood -- or something far deadlier.

But serial killers and vampires aren’t Ethan’s only problem. The old Victorian he and his wife hoped would be a sanctuary has become a place of dread. Shadows flicker, voices whisper, and unseen footsteps haunt the halls. As they dig into the house’s sordid history and unearth a tale of betrayal and ritual sacrifice, Ethan realizes the house doesn’t want them to leave -- it wants them to remember.

Meanwhile, at the Crimson Corset nightclub, an old grudge has resurfaced and vampire hunter Cade Colter finds himself in the crosshairs of an enemy who knows his every weakness. Snared in a deadly and meticulously orchestrated trap, he realizes that abandoning his own humanity may be the only way to survive -- and that in Crimson Cove, the past never dies. It feeds.

“... a colorful cast of characters, a clever plot, and an intricate structure … there are surprises and jumps and starts, sex and death, beauty and gore, something for everyone…” -- Hellnotes

I Hope Book 7 Releases Soon!

"The White Room" is an absolutely fantastic read! It picks up after the events of Book 5 and forwards them to new heights. At the same time, the ending sets the stage for the next installation of the series - which I hope that we don't have to wait long for!

I noticed a few typos within the text of this book. It could have benefited from a slightly better editing job. But the plot was so great, and quick moving that I ignored them and just kept reading.

This series has very tight continuity. So, make certain that you've read the first five books in order first. You won't be sorry. Then, be sure to read this one. I highly recommend "The White Room"!

A perfect way to finish a series. Or… is there going to be a book 7? Still, this series has been a blast. Loved it. Well deserved of the 5 stars rating.
