I am rogue. A vessel of wrath.
Love is my greatest weapon.

Surviving our enemies has a terrible cost. I have been torn apart, broken, and finally transformed into the instrument of vengeance I was destined to be.

With my new power comes a destruction I could never have foreseen. Striker Draven's love, his heart, and his life hang in the balance, our broken bond a painful wound between us.

While I embrace my destiny, fulfilling my fate as a bringer of retribution, he fights for the justice that was denied to him, walking a path to peace that brings him closer to me.

Until a new darkness reveals itself. A terrifying secret, a magical weapon from an ancient war between old gods and titans, threatens the peace we've fought so hard to achieve.

Now, we must venture into the assassin's maze, where we will fight together once more, battling the primordial forces that conspire against us.

With every step we take, we face more than dark magic.

We're fighting for our lost hopes. Our lost love.

A love that will either heal me... or break me once and for all.

Content information: Rogue is intended for mature audiences due to steamy content, violence, and language. This is book seven in the Assassin's Magic series and ends with a happily ever after. NO cliffhanger.

Everly Frost delivers a masterclass in tension, survival, and swoon-worthy romance in Rogue. From the very first page, I was drawn into Peyton’s world — a heroine shaped by pain, strength, and unwavering resolve. She’s fierce without being hardened, vulnerable without being weak, and every step she takes feels like a rebellion against the forces trying to break her.
Then there’s Striker — the enigma, the weapon, the man with blood on his hands and secrets in his eyes. The chemistry between Peyton and Striker is electric, a slow-burn explosion of trust, betrayal, and undeniable desire. Their connection is raw and real, built on shared scars and impossible choices. Watching them navigate their tangled loyalty to a world that has used them both is utterly gripping.
Frost’s storytelling shines here — blending heart-racing action with emotionally rich moments that stay with you. The gritty setting only sharpens the edge of the romance, while the threads of rebellion, identity, and redemption run deep.
Rogue isn’t just a story of survival. It’s about reclaiming agency, rewriting fate, and finding light in the darkest places. Peyton and Striker are unforgettable, and this book is a triumph for fans of angsty, high-stakes romance with soul. I am so beautifully broken to see their story come to an end but Frost does it with such grace. I've thoroughly enjoyed her world-building and highly recommend this entire world and all the series it includes. The Easter eggs throughout each series would make the bunny himself jealous.

In Rouge, Everly weaves a tale of deception, loyalty, and high-stakes action. The world-building continues to impress, as Everly takes us deeper into the political machinations of the magical factions, and the consequences of what Striker did in Revenge weigh heavily on them all. The balance between action and emotional depth is handled well, making for a fast-paced yet thoughtful read.

Rouge is an excellent continuation of the Assassin’s Magic series. Everly Frost once again delivers a thrilling story full of danger, magic, and emotional resonance. With well-developed characters, a strong plot, and a writing style that keeps the pages turning, this book is sure to leave readers eagerly anticipating the next installment. Whether you’re already a fan of the series or a newcomer, Rouge is an unforgettable read for fans of high fantasy and strong heroines.

Book 7 in Assassin's Magic series

I had been patiently waiting for this book because Revenge quite literally broke my heart which was slowly pieced back together in Rogue.

A highly emotional, action-packed supernatural romance that is filled to the brim with one impossible situation/decision after another where sacrifice, love, and friendships can make all the difference. I loved the inclusion of crossover characters from the other books to help piece this one together. Silence isn't always about being silent; sometimes it's about finding peace and calm amidst the chaos.

"One last fight. Fought for the right reasons."

I am rogue. A vessel of wrath. Love is my greatest weapon. That line sets the stage for a breathtaking, emotional ride.

Torn apart and reborn in vengeance, the heroine becomes a force of destruction—while Striker Draven fights for the justice they were both denied. Their bond is shattered but still burns, even as a new darkness rises and ancient powers threaten everything.

Together, they must face the assassin’s maze, battling not just magic and monsters—but the pain of lost love.

Intense, romantic, and powerful—this finale will break you, heal you, and stay with you long after the last page.

The long awaited 8th book in the Assassin’s magic series is finally here! Get ready to follow Peyton and Striker (and some familiar faces) once again as they make their way through the Assassin’s maze with some unexpected friends or foes. Peyton and Striker’s story gives you all the feels and all the spice, making it the perfect balance between “WHAT’S GONNA HAPPEN!!!” and uncontrollable sobbing mixed with some “I’M SO HAPPY FOR THEM!!!”. This is an incredible, perfect finale for Peyton and Striker, with an amazing ending. 10/10 read by the amazing and lovely Everly Frost who has indeed done it again with her storytelling.

What an amazing new chapter in Peyton and Striker’s life. I absolutely love that Everly came back to this world and gave them a fuller ending. Striker grows and comes so far in this installment – creating a new future for himself and his family. So much self-realization from both characters – loved every page. I also really enjoyed seeing all of the characters from this world come together in different forms. I pretty much devoured this book and it’s just so satisfying – so glad this book was created. I didn’t know I needed this, and I’m so happy it exists!

Really great full circle storytelling for the academy outcasts and a sprinkling of assassins. Peyton and Striker’s journey is heartbreaking and complicated. Peyton is built for justice while Striker is full of rage. Their balance is delicate and hard fought.

I love how each series is set in the same world with easter eggs and cameos. Hunter and Slade are probably my favorites of the found family of master assassins and the various misfits.

Uff, this book just get you in the feelings with Striker and Peyton.

They situation is in the rocks, we start where we left of in book 6, they are both on different paths to be better, to heal and to do the things thet think they need.

A lot of thing happens but this book just mended what book 6 broke.

A beautiful book that we learn how important it is to heal from the inside to love and to be loved.

A great ending in Peyton and Striker's story.

This is the long-awaited book 7 in the Assassin's Magic series. I had been patiently waiting for this book and am so glad that Everly came back to this world, and we get to more Peyton and Striker. This is the action-packed rollercoaster ride that I’ve come to expect from this author. There are crossover characters that pop in to make you feel comfortable back in this world. Loved it! Well worth the wait.

Book 7 in the Assassin’s Magic series finishes Peyton and Striker’s story and it is just so good! It’s very well written and full of action. It’s so full of emotion and growth of the characters that I just loved it! As usual for Everly Frost’s books, there’s many twists and turns and ups and downs for the characters and sometimes I wasn’t sure how it could possibly turn out. But the ending is so worth it! If you love urban fantasy romance I can’t recommend this series enough!

One last fight, one last meeting, one true love. What an emotional roller coaster this final story turned out to be, filled with drama, challenges, self-sacrifice, and true friendships. The addition of characters who cross over from other stories ties this action-packed story into a finale well worth reading. Highly recommend this series

Disappointed

I gave this 4 stars because I finished it and because I've enjoyed all the other books so much. I don't know what it was, but this one felt very shallow and disjointed for me. Everything seemed to happen too quickly. Still love the world and Everly's writing, but this one was not my favorite.

So I get it but this book should've just continued the end of the last one. Not put a bunch of scenes in between. Story wasn't bad but the ending of the last one made it a little unnecessary. I've been holding out reading this until the series was finished. Still overall one of her better series and worth the read.

Loved the whole series!!

I loved all the characters, the stories of each couple, but this last book seemed short or missing something. Maybe more about the bad guy or the academy. I don't know.

All the feels. So happy to have this book to finish off the series! Rogue was definitely the cherry on top.
We pick-up from where Revenge left off. And let me tell you, this book didn't disappoint. The ups and downs, the love, the hate, the discoveries. All builds up that ties it all together

Loved diving back into the assassin's world. Striker and Peyton's story was insane. I love the fact they are intertwined so carefully that the stories take in a life of there own making you feel everything. Enthralling read.

This is the last book on the academy side of things within the series. It kicks off right where 6 ended with Striker in peril and Fury being born.

The majority of the book takes place in the maze we have seen in previous books, there are appearances from our fave crossover book characters and plenty of action.

I would have liked to have seen more of Striker and his relationship with his sister and him settling in more in the outside world and running Draven industries. I would have loved to have seen more interactions with him and Slade and Cain. Who doesn't love a good bromance!

But it was nice to see Peyton and Striker get their happy ending. The Kaitlyn bit was a nice touch. I would be nice to see some more of the academy now it's run by our favourite dryad.
