A heart touching book!
This was a deep and heart touching book. It was about overcoming a troubled childhood. The author's dear Mother died of cancer and he had to deal with an aloof dad. He did also have a step dad, later. He never felt he fit in at school and was very lonely in childhood. The author talks very honestly and openly about his struggles with addiction. Never judge others because you don't walk in their shoes. When he married and had children, his life changed after a long struggle. He finally overcame his addiction, but it's still a daily struggle. His family and children changed his priorities and gave him strength and courage to overcome his addiction. So, this heartfelt book was definitely about overcoming and having, "a life worth living." And that's the best kind of book written from the heart. The book does need some editing, though.
