Review:

"Loving Mr. Wright" By Brenda Barrett was another good read that only this author can give to its readers. What a 'beautiful and inspiring' Christian romance storyline that only shows how God can give you ... your true desires of your heart. Yes, it did have its drama moments but when the whole story is unfolded you were given a realistic view of just what had happened to our hero
Caleb Wright. The only thing that is left for me to do after reading "Loving Mr. Wright" is to get the next series: 'Unholy Matrimony' (Three Rivers Series) as the story will continue on. Would I recommend this series? YES! I loved the book cover!

I loved this book! I am officially a fan of Brenda Barrett. Her writing style is simple, yet her ability to tell a story is phenomenal. I was able to connect with the characters on a personal level through the voice of the author. I am impressed that such a story could be developed in only 162 pages. Barrett seems to have done this with ease. This romantic story is filled with truth that can be applied to anyone in any situation. Pure romanticism at its best. This was just the type of read I needed. I look forward to reading the rest in this series as well as checking out other books from this author.

Enjoyable reading

The author has written another thought provoking book in the series. There is kindness shown to a stranger. The author showed the effects of gossip. Just read the first two books in the series and I anticipate reading the next two books.

Man that was sooooooooooooo good! I did not expect it to be so darn good. I've read many Christian fiction, but this one was different. It was real. I could connect because it was real. Little things made me love it and it's authenticity. Like blowing one's nose in a jacket while crying. Like a father having an outburst of past sins and the daughter not batting an eyelash. Like being broke and announcing it freely. Like not hiding from sex, even though it's a Christian book. Man I could go on. I loved the characters! I loved Erica! She was pretty blunt and I loved it, she said what was on her mind, even to Caleb. And it was funny! I have not laughed like this from a book in so long and it was refreshing! 5 full happy stars

Loving Mr. Wright(Three Rivers Book 2)

A very lovely follow-up story, this time following Erica, who is the sister of Kelly from book 1. The story picks up with Erica house-sitting her sister and brother-in-law's home while they're on the Cayman Island. Erica is missing her family and it is also exposing the reality of outside of family she didn't have a life. Caleb was just released from prison with no money or job. The only bright side was that his aunt died and left him her home. He decided to find a church and thank God for things being as well as it was. Both Caleb and Erica's lives changed after this chance meeting. If you like love, forgiveness, and redemption, this book is for you!

Loving Mr Wright

This book was inspirational, dramatic and emotional to know that family can drop you as thing to wrong without finding out the truth. Caleb was a renown chef working for high end hotels he met his wife with a daughter they got married . Caleb wife cheated on him with a lawyer but to cover her cheating she accused Caleb as a child molester. He was sentenced for twenty years but only spend give because his step daughter confess that her mother out her up to do wrong to her step dad. After leaving prison Caleb get from Kingston to St Ann to her aunt place that she left for him. He went to church met his lover and the story became more interesting. Please read this series by Brenda Barrett. Lovely read.

Mr. Wright and Erica

A story of redemption and finding love. Caleb really had been dealt a cruel hand, and lost the little that he did have. But upon leaving prison, sweet Ms. Erica was willing to befriend him, trust him, and love him. After a rocky path, the two realized they wanted the same thing, and even a relationship that was acceptable to her parents. If you read her sister's story before this book, you know that Erica had become overweight and was having some doubts that she would get her own chance at love, and her own Mr. Wright, that is Mr. Caleb Wright!

Overall, this was an alright book. Parts of the storyline were a bit boring. I had to sit it down for a few days before picking it back up to finish reading it. I'm not sure that I will purchase the last two books in this series. However, I loved that it is Christian-fiction and has strong, memorable quotes. There were quite a few typos in the kindle edition. It was also annoying to see "there" used twice when it should have been "their" but hopefully they will fix it.

A wonderful story

This book was so pivotal in showing how we as Christians often forget where we've been and what it took for us to come out of sin. It shows how God will sometimes allow the enemy to come against us, but in the end we win. Caleb's story is the life of anyone who has stood accused but through salvation can be declared...not guilty!

Beautiful from beginning to end!

After the first installment of this series, I couldn't wait to see what would happen to our girl Erica. She was the BEST sister. She is such a lovable character, you root for her to have her happily ever after. She reminds me of myself! What a ride!

Excellent

This book is truly about redemption, love, condemnations, and more. The most truly amazing touching parts is allowing God to handle your problems and struggles and the importance of forgiveness and not judging the book by its cover. This is an excellent read!!!!!

I enjoyed the book and gave it the five star rating as it expressed how people judge one another! It told the story from Caleb's point of view.

Great novel/series. Grammatical errors but clearly a message, never judge someone by what you think you know. Get the facts first! A few things a little far fetched but overall a good novel.
