Prince Beelzebub lives a charmed, albeit lonely existence in the afterlife. In a realm where darkness looms and secrets lurk around every corner, he finds himself constantly facing new challenges that can unravel the very fabric of the reality he has worked so hard to build.
Adelaide is a rich, independent girl who prefers her time with her cats and her books over anything to do with money. She spends time with her few friends and manages to sneak her way into Beelzebub’s life without her even knowing it. When she finds herself facing her mortality much sooner than she expected, Beelzebub is there to hold her hand afterward. Join the enigmatic Prince of the Afterlife and the bookworm Adelaide as they both seek to reveal the truth about their friends and themselves in this romantic fantasy debut.
A Prince and a bookworm, what self respective reader wouldn’t pick up this book?
Beelzebub is so mysterious and captivating, though he has his faults but I still love him. Adelaide literally is every bookworm that I know, well at least I resonate with her. Her whole persona definitely is relatable.
Overall, there is little spice but it’s so good, 😊. Had me blushing. I mean little, like it’s sweet. My favorite line? “I wouldn’t be opposed”
Once you read you will understand. He is such a sweetheart and a golden retriever. This is a slow burn so if you are wanting more spice in your fantasy it’s not it but it is perfect for someone that wants to get into fantasy romance with a little spice.
There are so many questions! I had so many and they were answered but then some also arose and I cannot wait for the next book in this series.
This book was a pretty good read. Definitely a slow burn for sure but was super sweet. I loved how Beelzebub was so loving and sweet towards the animals, children, and Adelaide. Their relationship blossomed very slowly at first but there was a lot to learn about the realms and the background of the characters which I loved. I feel like the ending was kind of rushed a bit after connecting to each other. The spice once I finally got to it was wholesome. The thing I didn't like was all the different 3rd persons POV was kind of hard to follow. Overall it was a good read and I'm looking forward to reading what is yet to come from this book.
I thought the book was slow at first because there is alot to take in. But oh the information and the PLOT TWIST! I can not wait to read more scott Adelaide and bezzlebub! But also letum we need more with him! I was not ready for this book to end!
Talk about a SLOW BURN!!! I loved how every time I thought the book one’s going in one direction there would be a surprise and would change direction on me! Definitely a great read!
