Excellent Series

I have been a fan of Tom Abrahams books for years. Definitely hate when a series comes to an end. I found this book is relatable to the average prepper. Find like minded people, learn new skills and slowly build up your cache. Can't happen over night and it involves time, experience and money.

Definitely recommend this book/series.

not much about prepping, maybe dirty politics

I really enjoyed the first 2-3 books. Some decent prepper tidbits sprinkled between long, boring lengths of nonsense. But it went down hill from there. I knew better than to purchase Book 5 after a disappointing Book 4. My loss, my fault. Save your time and money and re-read something else.

Stronger than the previous two books. There’s too much fruity language here for an apocalypse book I think, the frequent tangents quoting authors, artists and everything in between pull you out of the story. What’s really missing here and what’s key in an apocalypse setting is any sense of urgency or dread. We are five books deep but only 18 days in (with plenty of flash backs to the past) and it feels more like 18 years. I’m going to have to continue the story in the next series of books because the story itself is gripping and I need to know how things play out for the characters, but I’m not happy about it 😂

A worthy way to end one series and set up another

Prepper: book 5, the final book in the Prepper series, continues the story of the Warrant family, the remnants of "Grey Team", Obsidian and the Devon administration as they settle in to new circumstances. The ending also does a good job of setting up the next series. The writing is perfectly crafted, with fallible & believable characters, clear dialog, vivid action sequences and clear descriptions. Overall 5/5 stars. Highly recommended for anyone who likes post-EMP survival thrillers and survival thrillers in general! Time to start Prepper Nation!

Strong 4.5 stars

As plans move forward, the nation moves closer to the brink. Pawns become players as players fall by the wayside as their usefulness is exhausted... Compartmentalized intelligence keeps many from any realization of the true depths of the betrayal being played out....

Way too much fluff!

Way too much nonsense as far as inner thoughts of the past and then there are the naive warrants! I skipped through alot of the book.

Prepper: Book 5

How deep do the tendrils of Obsidian reach? Is no one untouchable? Author Abrahams thickens the plot again and again.
