Daring thieves steal from one of the most important aristocrats in Doskvol, and a blood curse is awakened. As the city's elite focus on retribution, the scoundrels try to steal their lives back.
Far better written than a game tie-in deserves and a nice fill in while we (hopefully) wait for a new Locke Lamora book. My only criticism, think it suffered a bit from 'Return of the King' syndrome. The need to tie up loose ends and give every character a satisfying conclusion made the story drag a little longer than was absolutely needed.
This is a minor quibble for a very fun read. If you know Blades in the Dark it's even better, if you don't it's still great.
