Every once in awhile I think, "Okay isekai and gamelit stuff is meant to appeal based off not only familiarity of the genre but how it handles and mixes those familiar tropes surely I'll like this one." Only to be failed by the siren call once again. This wasn't terrible but it wasn't interesting with flat characters and pacing focused on railroading to each plot beat and event leaving little time for breathing or interesting character moments. It really is focused on the time loop, getting killed, and leveling up with the rest just sorta there if it has time that chapter. I will admit though the art is quite strong especially in how it draws the savage and inhumane monsters. You can tell they had to divvy up their time and put more effort towards those parts but that doesn't mean the rest looks terrible. It always has a consistent baseline which I appreciate.
*ps: i'm using this space to rate all the chapters i read of this manga, so considering that i read 96 chapters, i actually read the volume 1 and above of it. **ps2: totally recommend it
It's really good and I loved it only downside is it's super bloody and makes me feel a bit sick reading it. I don't belive there was any cussing in it either. Monsters look cool as well . Minor censored nudity on like two pages of dead bodies .
