Dick Grayson returns to Gotham to reclaim his mantle as part of DC's 2016 initiative DC Rebirth.
Dick Grayson has taken on many identities. Batman's Robin, a spy, a ghost, now Dick Grayson gets back to his roots in the beginning of the DC Rebirth Era. A new evil has returned to Gotham to threaten everything that Nightwing holds dear to him. While rekindling a former romance with Barbara Gordon, now a superstar crime-fighter in Gotham, Dick will have to embrace his destiny or watch his life be destroyed forever.

This run has the entirety of the Rebirth era of our beloved Dick Grayson. Additionally, you'll find more in this omnibus than the three Deluxe Editions of this era. There are some great snippets from Batgirl, Redhood, and more that widen the scope of the Haley's Circus star. In summary, this run is the DEFINITIVE tale of Nightwing; it's got the drama, action, romance, and most certainly has the intrigue.
This is a beast of an omnibus pushing 1500 pages. This run picks up from the end of Grayson and overall is a very underrated run. Chuck Dixon, Tom King and Tom Taylor get all the love when it comes to Nightwing. Tim Seeley writes the majority of this run with a good arc from Sam Humphries and Benjamin Percy filling out the omnibus. I really enjoyed this entire omnibus and loved the one shot stories that pop up during the last arc. This omnibus is worth a read and should not be skipped over to jump to Tom Taylor.
This book has everything what great Nightwing book needs to have. It introduces new foes, new friends and even new romantic elemnt for Dick witch I liked how it was handled here. Nightwing finally after New 52 reboot returns to Blüdhaven whitch is, in my opinion, city that suits him best. Majority of this run is written by Tim Seeley who in my opinion really understands both Nightwing and Dick and managers to get maximum from both worlds. Book ends with Benjamin Percy and this part is in my opinion weakest point of the book mainly because that arc just doesn't feel like story for Nightwing, and it felt unfinished. So yes, it definitely isn't perfect and it has its flaws, but I would give it solid 4,5/5.
