HANGING BY A THREAD is a brief, erotic glimpse into the desires of an average housewife.
Candice and Piers' marriage has become a little humdrum, and Candice can't stop thinking about the threesome she and Piers had with Piers' good friend Trevor. The encounter was hot and Candice was hopeful it would do good things for her marriage - or happen again. But, sadly, things go back to humdrum with Candice and Piers. Candice is excited when she finally receives in invitation from Trevor, and even more excited to see Piers answer the door when she shows up.
I found the storyline to be a little disjointed and was not terribly drawn to the characters. There is no real explanation for why Candice and Piers' relationship falters after their encounter with Trevor. The original threesome appeared to be satisfying for all involved, but then the sex between the couple becomes planned and rigid. The second interlude involving all three characters was again erotic and satisfying, but did not leave me feeling issues were resolved. A spicy story that just needed a little more character development.

...........The synopsis makes this story sound so much better than it really is. At only 38 pages there isn’t enough substance to get emotionally involved.......
The idea of a BFF dom instructing his friend on how to best service his wife is a good idea, but this execution didn’t cut it for me.....

This is one hot read. A couple trying to reconnect and putting spice back into the marriage. A good quick read!
