Life turned upside down, Chaney Daniels is determined to flip things sunny-side up again after being abducted by Human Traffickers. To keep her safe while awaiting their trial, she is assigned a Brotherhood Protector, Rawlins Grainger, who is more than attractive. Determined to prove her independence, Chaney learns new tasks and takes on work that will prove not only to her overprotective parents, Rawlins, and maybe herself that she can stand on her own two feet. As the days pass, she knows she wants that life to include Rawlins. Will her protector come to feel the same way or only see her as his latest assignment?
Medically retired Army Ranger Rawlins Grainger takes his duties as a Brotherhood Protector seriously and refuses to fail. But Chaney Daniels continues to put herself in harm’s way while trying to help others. As much as he tries to keep things professional between them, he can’t help but find himself admiring and falling for the spunky and tenacious young woman. Will Rawlins become another statistic of the protector’s curse falling for his client, or will he be able to walk away, and will Chaney let him?

I love the aspect of the Lone Wolf security group, preferring to work alone, but then we add in the Brotherhood Protectors and its icing on the cake, after all no one in security or protection truly works alone. Chaney Daniels has been "smothered" by over controlling parents. She also has just been rescued from Human Trafficking ring with her best friend Justus. Do to happenings Chaney starts viewing other possibilities in her life. Yea Chaney! She's funny, caring and tenacious. Rawlins is the perfect counter point. Breathless touches lightly on a lot of todays issues and does it in away everyone can understand. We had Justus story in Hopelessly Devoted. Lone Wolf Book 3. This is the other side of the coin so to speak, we see some of the happenings but from Chaneys side as they went down. Its an interesting idea and makes it more multi dimensional. The author provided enough information so your not lost, but I think reading the previous books fleshes out the story line more. Many thanks to the author letting me grab this late! I freely volunteer my thoughts and opinions. #Breathless #BrotherhoodProtectorsWorld #LoneWolf #LeanneTyler #TwistedPagePress
The fourth book in the Lone Wolf series is Chaney and Rawlins story. We first met Chaney in “Asher's Watch: Team Watch Watchdog bk 2” and she is also part of book three in the Lone Wolf series. Whilst this book could be read as standalone you would get the bigger picture by reading “Asher’s Watch” Must admit that I much prefer Chaney to Justice, though this story doesn’t have quite as much action as book three. This story does however show how even one action can change your whole life’s direction, and with the right support anything is possible. Loved the cameo appearances too.
I received a review reader’s copy of the book, and I am leaving this review voluntarily
Breathless: it was great story of friendship, human trafficking, protection and Love! Chaney and Justus were kidnapped for human trafficking. They were then rescued and under protection! It had great dialog!
I love this story. Full of action, mystery and danger. Once you start reading you won't put it down. I was given an advanced reader copy and I voluntarily leave this review.
