The Way Back To Me (The Way Book 1): A College Bully Romance

Rate this book
NOTE: This is a second edition with major revisions. The book does end on a cliffhanger.

My life was charmed. I had the best friends ever. We were known as the Fab Five and our futures were planned out.

In a flash, everything was taken from me. I don’t know how to live without them. I don’t want to.
I’m broken.

When I get to college, I see him.

Cameron Stone. Mr. Football. Mr. Popular. He’s definitely hot, but on the inside he’s vile. He made my childhood a living nightmare. I don’t know why he hates me or why he’s suddenly being so nice to me. All the sweet talk in the world won’t work. I know better.

So, why am I listening?

The Way Back To Me is a heartachingly beautiful book about the power of love, the true meaning of friendship, and the choices we all make. Multiple times whilst reading this baby, tears welled up in my eyes at the beauty of Ms. Mercier’s writing. Without giving too much away, she makes all characters in this story extremely real.

Olivia was involved in a tragic car accident. The other passengers were pronounced dead at the scene and Olivia was the only survivor in that frightening event. The crash left her with serious emotional injuries and deep psychological trauma. Not only did she lose her best friends, she also has to live with the guilt of the sole survivor. Cameron, her roomate’s brother at college and her childhood friend who bullied her at school, can’t stand any more witnessing her isolation and decides to help her through her depression. But, healing takes patience and compassion. Cameron’s love will give her the comfort she so desperately needs, and their relationship will be strengthened. Sometimes the brightest light comes from the darkest places and this beautiful love story proves that even when drowning in the dark, you can rely on the kindness and love of your fellow man and find happiness.

The story contains a lot of emotions; Intense and raw emotions. We go through them with Olivia as well as Cameron, simultaneously. This novel is powerful and moving! It is a shocking and powerful book and you will feel its emotional weight long after you turned the last page. I loved the writing, the characters, the formatting, the pacing. Their journey was so beautiful.

Can't rate it higher due to the events in the second book.

Sounds petty? Well, it is.

But I've thought about it and sad to say that this book is tainted for me. In fact, I don't really understand why the author spent so much time building up Cameron in this book when...oh well, you just have to read my review for the second book because that one was a doozy.

The blurb of The Way Back To Me by Anne Mercier sounded something that I would possibly love since I am a big fan on books that focuses on second chances and finding oneself. But unfortunately, this book was just okay. Nothing really stood out for me since I found it a little repetitive and couldn't connect to the heroine. I felt the heroine's pain for her loss but she just didn't draw me in emotionally to feel her despair. I know I am in the minority in my review since others found this book to be amazing. I just felt this book was okay emotionally and romance wise.

As I'm sitting here writing this review, I'm finding it extremely difficult to come up with the precise words to describe The Way Back To Me. To say I enjoyed this book, would be a complete understatement. This book stripped me bare, and devastatingly ripped me apart. It left me exposed to the numbing realization that not all love stories are hearts and flowers. Some are filled with pain. Some drip with despair, and anger. And others can leave you with more questions than answers.

Olivia Brennan endured what no one ever should. Long gone is the energetic and kindhearted young woman with her entire future ahead of her. Starting college should've be one of the best experiences in her life. But how can Olivia enjoy such a thrilling experience when everything reminds her of what should've been.

Cameron Stone doesn't know this dark, emotionally-scarred version of Olivia. If he's completely honest with himself, he never truly knew the "before" Olivia either. All Cam knows is he has to save her...from the pain, from herself, and from utterly losing herself completely.

I've read my fair share of books that can make you feel invested and connected with characters, like you know them on a personal level. But what Anne Mercier delivers in The Way Back To Me, is what I can only describe as a deep ache. An ache for what was lost. An ache for closure. And the ever existent ache that contradicts the saying that time heals all wounds. I felt that ache deep within myself for what both Olivia and Cam have endured. But as the story progressed and time started bandaging the wounds within each of them, hope began to appear. Hope for acceptance, for love, and for life. This hope began to slowly mask the ache. It can never replace it completely, just transform the ache to memories that evoke happiness instead of misery.

The mark of a genuinely magnificent writer is one where your emotions become one with the story. I laughed. And I cried. Anne even made me want to punch a couple characters, but I loved it. The Way Back To Me is above and beyond Anne's best work to date, in my opinion. I'm hoping that everyone will fall in love with this book as much as I have. This story will stay with me forever, and I can't wait to find out what happens next for Olivia and Cameron!

At best a mediocre college romance full of drama told from both the male and female leads point of view. In a heartbreaking story, Olivia is scarred physically and mentally as she embarks on her first year of college and a new beginning. It’s a shock when she finds her roommate is an old acquaintance from her hometown – and the sister of the guy who bullied Olivia all through high school. Of course, it won’t be much of a surprise to find that Cam, who is the roomie’s older brother and the campus football hero, also attends the same college. Will he continue bullying her and ruin her chances for a start-over? Cam might have some secrets up his sleeve that will change both their lives.

Although my copy noted that re-edits had been made, I met with plenty of editing problems. Nothing huge – just lazy and silly mistakes that were easily identifiable.

Beware that this one ends on a slight cliffhanger that hints at a continuance to this storyline.

I’ve read several reviews on this book and realize that I’m in the minority with my opinion. However, I just didn’t find anything different or new compared to others similar in content that are oftentimes written much better.

description I am alone. I'm still feeling. This is unacceptable."

As I am sitting here and writing this review, I can't put it in words and tell you how much Anne Mercier has come far in her books, in her characters, in her storyline and definitely in her writing.

The Way Back To Me was something that I hadn't expected. To say I enjoyed this book would be an understatement of the year. I LOVED this book so much! This book kept me in its clutches from the dedication! I just... I never expected Anne to write such a book! I literally had tears in my eyes and that to just by reading the Prologue! The Way Back To Me is about heartache, love, loss, friendship, tough revelations and second chances

Olivia endured a heartbreaking soul shattering tragedy in an accident which took away four people that she held dearest to her heart. The energetic, loving, kindhearted girl didn't exist anymore. In her place is a girl that is emotionally scarred, dark and sad. Starting college should have been one of the best experiences of Olivia's life, but how could she do that when with whom she wanted to share those joys with weren't there by her side anymore?

Cameron Stone is her roommate's brother at college and her childhood bully from back home. Cameron has always hated Olivia. He thought she was fake because naturally nobody could be that good. Cam didn't know the old Olivia and he certainly doesn't know what to do with the Olivia who doesn't mind standing up to him and putting him in his place.

description I love him... I mean really love him. The kind of 'in love' a couple's supposed to have ― with passion and trust, love and lust. We have that. And today ― well, last night, he told me he's in love with me..."

The Way Back To Me is partly about love and friendship, partly about second chances but it mostly about an intense deep ache that sets in when you lose something so dear to you. Olivia was knee deep in hurt and pain from her loss and suffered from survivor's guilt but as time passed, the once bully became so much more than Olivia could imagine. With him, Cam brought a sense of hope.

A hope for moving on.
A hope acceptance.
A hope for love.
A hope for a second chance with life.

The story is a combination of a lot of emotions. It is intense and raw. There is love, laughter, heartbreak and the most amazing relationships! I loved the characters, I loved the pain, I loved the writing, I loved the story!

I just can't say enough about this book. I thought Anne's previous series was amazing and her writing got better. But this book!... THIS BOOK is most definitely my favorite out of all of hers.
Anne, has always written books that are fluffy and sweet enough to give you diabetes and sometimes, you just need that fluff, especially if you, like me, love angst in your books. She has ventured into the angst-y side but nothing like this! And can I just how much I enjoyed reading this?!

The writing has matured from what it was in her very first book! It was truly a joy to read this book and I was so so so happy!

This is definitely one Anne Mercier book that I would be recommending!

Fabulous five, I've got you kitten stars

A beautiful college romance with just enough angst and drama, banter, hotness and to top it off a swoon worthy bbf called Cam.

One of Anne's best writing yet, although I also loved The falling down rockstar series this was in a class of its own. Loved it.

Loved all the extended characters too and looking forward to reading more about them.

Your pulled straight into the heartache of the story as Olivia struggles with the grief and heartache the night she loses her best freinds and boyfriend all in one night and she's left walking free not knowing how to go on.

Cam, what can I say, there was method in his madness and he brings Olivia from a dark place.

Told in dual pov's it's such a heartwarming emotional story and everything you would expect to find in a romantic read.

Recommended college romance. looking forward to the next book so much Anne has a new stalker not that I didn't already stalk her lol.

Annes writing has the balance of hearwarming moments, hotness and humour that I love in a good book ; -)

An emotional ride, a beautiful story, and heart warming characters!

I read a lot of books, but only once in a while a story grips me. It takes hold and suddenly I am immersed in this world that I never want to leave. That’s what happened with The Way Back to Me. From the characters, to the heart wrenching story, to the ending. I was on a whirlwind of emotion, being tugged back and forth, but never once did I want to put this book down.

Olivia has suffered a devastating loss. Her transition from a bubbly, happy girl to a depressed shadow of her former self is what sets this whole story off. I was grabbing my tissues from the first page. As we follow Olivia through her transition as she leaves her small home town to go to University you feel all the pain, the emotion and the turmoil she does. Anne has developed a character that will pull you into her world and not let go, even when you read the last few words at the end, you look for more.

The Way Back To Me

Cameron Stone is the ultimate jock. A playboy by nature. A footballer with the world at his feet… and many of the girls too. But no one grabs his attention like Livvy does. He knows Olivia better than she knows herself. He’s watched her transition and needless to say, he wants to help her. The only thing is, he’s been bullying her for years. So why the sudden need to make her smile again? Why does he want to help her find her find the way back?

The Way Back To Me

These two unlikely characters paths cross when Olivia moves into her dorm room. Only to find out her roommate is none other than Cameron’s younger sister. This is where the journey starts for our heroine, and she’s pulled into trying to move on, but still living with the grief of the past. Can she ever let go and move on? Or will the pain of the tragic event drag her further away from herself? Will Cameron be able to help her find the lost girl through all the pain and tears?

Anne leaves us with a cliff hanger of note! I am desperately in need of the next book to see where this incredible story goes! Please give me more Cam and Liv!!!

I am in the minority with this one. I could not connect with Olivia and her "pain". And the award for annoying heroine goes to....OLIVIA.

Olivia was pining over her love who was gone - DEAD. Cameron who was mean to her for years wants to be with her now that she is no longer perky and fun. Cameron was cruel to her for years and the reason was that she was too kind and fake. I kind of think she was fake too.

ALL THE PINING she did for her the love of her life and her friends was getting on my nerves after awhile. I am not sure if it was the way it was presented/written or that Olivia later explains that she really wasn't that happy with these people anyway. Olivia says later in the story that is not sure whether she would have been friends with her group even if they hadn't died. WHAT??? The first 7% is her PINING over her dead love and her "wonderful" friends and then you find out that she felt differently?!?!? I am with Cameron (even though I think readers probably did not like him) Olivia was a phony.

This is my opinion. You may fell 100% differently. Reading is subjective. I am not telling you not to read it.

This book is filled with so many emotions. I have to say i think it is my new fave book by Anne, i feel like you can see where her writing has progressed from the very first story she wrote, to this one. This book is very different to other stories Anne has released so far, i found it chocked full of highs and lows of emotions. From love and laughter to pain and sadness. Olivia is quite a complex character you think you know all she has been through and yet there is so much more. Cam hit me as quite a douchebag but as the story went on i warmed to him. He has a strong heart and resilience to try and bring Olivia back to who she once was. A very good story to read for first time readers to Anne's work and to those who already know her style, they i think will notice a new development in her writing with this story.

I finished this book in one sitting. No surprise there, it is by Author Anne Mercier, one bada$$ chic.

The way back to me was such a beautiful, dark, sad, and at time funny story. First chapter? I cried. There were several more cry sessions, but it is so so worth it.

This has a little bit of everything in it... Enemy's turn lovers, death, depression, pain, new friends, old friends, romance, love, and it goes on.

This is absolutely the best New Adult book of 2016. I can't wait for book 2 in the series. I know there is one, since Anne left us with a little cliff hanger!
So worth it!

Y ese final..what? Alice? Necesito el dos para saber que nuevo drama sigue :)

WOW - I didn't really expect that but am so glad I got it :)

Olivia Brennan is no one to mess with. She is tough as nails and cold as stone but there's a reason for that...a heart breaking one that changed her life forever and the person she was and is.
Through out this book Olivia refers to her friends through her own eyes and it makes us connect with them on a level where we also feel like we knew them. The characters in this book are so well developed and true to life and the story so descriptive that it makes you feel like you are living the story instead of reading words on a page. I love when an author can make me feel that and forget about the world around me.

The story introduce you to Olivia as her world crashes around her. Right from the start you are brought into her world and follow her through as she goes to college, meets new people and learns to find herself after everything.

The story is so beautiful and touching, emotional and heart breaking and romantic and sweet all at the same time. It will make you smile, shed a tear and applaud. There is a life lesson in this book that everyone can learn from....unfortunately Olivia and her friends learned it the hard way.

I recommend this book to anyone and am getting a signed copy for my daughter for her birthday.

I think this deserves more than 5 stars just on tissue usage alone. As an avid reader of Annes books, I have seen them getting better and better but TWBTM is in a class all of it's own!
The beginning makes your heart hurt for Liv and you don't think it's going to get any better for her as such a sudden hearbreaking loss of not just Danny, but all her best friends from being children, would send anyone onto a downward spiral of doom and gloom. Tissues were never far away from me while reading this book, whether I was bubbling or laughing especially the moobies, that was when tissues were needed to mop up the coffee I snorted!!
Fans of Annes will love this book and it's a lot different to the Falling Down series and Whispered Truths that are great reads too. This one is so Annes style but totally different. If you're not a fan of Annes other work, then maybe this book will change your mind!

Review by Jen Skewes

Wow! What a beautiful and emotional journey this book took me on. From the moment I read the prologue I was hooked. It just sucked me in from the start and my heart broke right along with Olivia and all that she was going through. From that moment I knew that it was going to be a rough journey but I could not wait to go through it all.

Olivia has just gone through something that no person, young or old ,should have to experience. Every thing in Olivia's life was great and normal up until that one night. She had the best friends and boyfriend that anyone could ask for and a family who loved her. But after that one night, everything changed and Olivia wondered how in the world she would be able to move on. How can she life her life and still be herself with everything that she is feeling?

As time goes by she slowly starts to heal or at least tries to. When September comes she goes away to college hoping that it will help her to move on and start all over. She is still carrying around so much guilt and pain with her but maybe being away from her small town, she will be able to push it aside. The one thing that she never expected though was to find comfort in the arms of Cameron Stone, the boy who was nothing but mean to her all throughout high school. For some reason that Olivia could never figure out, Cameron hated her and made sure to let her know any chance that he got. But now that they are at the same college things seem to be different, he seems to be different. As hard as she fights it, Cam is there for her in ways that she needs right now and no matter how he treated her in the past for some reason she trusts him. But will she be able to move on from the past and be able to open herself up to someone again?

In all honesty when I first met Cam I wasn’t quite sure what to think of him, given his past issues with Liv and how mean he was to her. And even upon their first meeting in college he still wasn’t the nicest person. But as his walls start to come down you find out his reasons for treating her the way that he did. And now you see a man who wants to be there for her. Everything that he thought he knew about Olivia back in high school is so far from who she really is. And he quickly realizes that and wants to do whatever he can to help her find her way back to herself. Because the girl she is now is not the Olivia he knows. The way he takes care of her, comforts her, is patient with her and just cares for her will melt your heart. And once you see the real Cameron you cannot help but embrace and fall in love with him. He truly is everything that Liv needs in her life, especially right now.

Olivia, oh my heart went out to this girl so much. I cannot even imagine going through everything that she went through. From the very moment you meet her in the prologue and you see just how it has all affected her you just want to hug her and hold her and comfort her in any way that you can. She is such a strong person, but she is also a girl who doesn’t always believe in herself or her strength. But with Cam and Alexa by her side she begins to see past the pain and the hurt and starts to see that maybe it is possible to move on and find her way back. She learns how to break the walls down and open up and not just her heart but about the past as well.

There is one moment where she finally talks about that moment that changed everything. And when she does get those tissues ready, because OH.MY. GOD it broke me. I cannot even begin to explain my thoughts in that moment but Anne Mercier did such an amazing job with making you feel, not only in that moment but the entire book. I felt like I was there with her on that day experiencing it all with her. But it was more than that one moment where I had all of the feels. I laughed, cried and got mad with these characters. I felt like I was a part of their world. My heart even broke for Danny and what had happened because in some weird way I felt what he had with Olivia just by the way she talked about him. I was not only sad for her but I was sad with her.

This book brought out so many emotions and it is one that I cannot stop thinking of since I finished reading. Maybe because Ms. Mercier left us hanging in a big way but I really think it is because I just absolutely fell in love with the characters and their story. When I had to actually put the book down to be a mom and a wife I could not wait to be able to pick it up again. The truth is I really couldn’t concentrate on anything but Cam and Liv anyway. And I loved the supporting characters and what they brought to this story, especially Sebastian and hope that they too all get thrier own story.

This is a beautiful and emotional story about loss, love, friendship and finding yourself again. This is the first book that I have read by Anne Mercier but it will certainly not be the last. Absolutely amazing!!! I cannot wait to see how their story ends!

***First reaction*** So, I read the sample last night, got sucked in, slept on it and then decided to buy it this morning...that was a good four hours ago and now I’m sitting here, pretending I didn’t all teary and shit while devouring the book (Thank God for waterproof eyeliner and the fact I don’t wear mascara on my bottom lashes anymore) and grinning like a fool at that ending.

***FULL REVIEW***

I didn’t expect this book to grab me by the throat and toss me down the rabbit hole the way that it did. I didn’t expect the tears that came with it and I sure as shit didn’t expect to be doing a re-read of it as soon as I finished it. But it all happened because the characters and the story just got under my skin and I couldn’t stop reading until I reached the end. Twice. (Okay, maybe more but I’m sticking to twice for now.)

I don’t get teary often, but I did when it came to Olivia and the hell she went through, and that was before finding out exactly what happened the night she lost her friends. We meet her at her lowest point and watch as she pulls herself up and finds the strength of will to live as she works through the survivor’s guilt that is weighing heavily on her shoulders. She does get a lot of help along the way, some of it from very surprising sources, but the fact that she accepts it shows that she knows she can’t do it on her own, though she may not always want to admit it...at least right away. I loved that she was a blend of sweet and snarky, especially since the snark wasn’t something she let out before, and that she stood up for herself, but knew when to just go with the flow because sometimes the effort just wasn’t worth it.

Cameron. He’s one of those characters I wanted to hug while smacking upside the head. He could be a major asshat, but then he’d do something sweet and caring and the irritation that had been building would slowly start to ebb. His life hasn’t been easy and he unfortunately did stupid things based on assumptions and simply being an angry teenager. The reason behind it all doesn’t excuse his behavior, but I understood it and when the truth finally smacked him upside the head he pulled up his big boy pants and took responsibility for his actions.

Cameron and Olivia’s relationship falls totally under the whole enemies to lovers/there is a thin line between love and hate trope. Cameron bullied her to no end in high school and Olivia took it, and the reason she did was interesting, but she doesn’t take it now that she’s in college. Olivia goes through a few transformations in the book and one of them is that she now fights back and that’s what truly catches Cameron’s attention and basically kicks him into gear to help her heal. The road isn’t easy since there is so much baggage between them, but they work through it and I enjoyed being a spectator as they went from enemies to friends to lovers.

But as much as I adored Cameron and Olivia, I loved their friends just as much. Brax, Dekker, Sebastian and Alexa were so much fun and when you get right down to it, if it weren’t for them things would have been that much rockier for Cam and Olivia. They showed in so many ways what true friendship meant as they supported, pushed and nagged when necessary to help get Cam and Olivia through the issues that plagued them. And while I loved them all, my favorite is Alexa. She was just a bundle of energy and I loved how clearly she saw what was going on between Cam and Olivia and never the fact that Cam was her brother cloud her opinions.

I know it’s redundant for me to say that I found the writing engaging and liked how the story flowed, but I did. It brought out all the feels and while I did pick up on a few editing issues, they didn’t take away from the story at all. I also liked the fact that while the characters are at the high end of YA and the low end of the NA age spectrum they tended to be more mature than not. They still got into all the crazy that college kids do and had their own freakouts, but it wasn’t over the top. The ending of the book did have me grinning, but then I got a little worried because it looks like Cam and Liv got a HFN, not an HEA which after all they went through, they really do deserve. But as I reviewed the story in my head I realized that there were some issues that were left open, so I’m preparing myself for what may come and trust that Cam and Liv, with the help of their friends get the HEA they so badly deserve.

The Bottom Line: Loved the book and can’t wait to get my hands on the next one!

This story captured my attention from the beginning and I couldn't put it down until the end, even after I found out it ends on a small cliffhanger (yes I skipped to the end, I often do). I was so annoyed when I saw how it ended I'm not a huge fan of having a story continue over several books because it just means so much more drama, so I hope that if Olivia and Cameron get another book it will be a novella or at the most only one more book before we see a happy ending (even if it is only a happy for now ending) and then we see their story continue through the books of the other characters we meet in this story.

Anyway onto the good stuff, I loved all of the characters the main and supporting ones they were great. This book has a lot of saddness but also shows life and the way it doesn't stop even if your world has fallen apart like Olivia's did. I liked the funny and the serious aspects of this story all of it came together to create this fantastic story and the beginning of a series where I hope the supporting characters of this book all get their own story to. This is my first book by Anne Mercier but it definitely won't be my last.

This book was gifted to me for an honest review xx
For me, after reading everything Anne has written, this has to be her best. It is different from her usual writing, but it is a story that you will love.
There is so much I can say about this book, it was a heartbreaking tale of love and loss. One that I could relate to more than I imagined.
It is an emotional story of Olivia, a girl who has lost not only the love of her life, but her friends as well. Her journey from that moment onwards is heart wrenching and very emotional. One that you would never wish upon anyone and something you could never envision yourself going through.
Cameron, although portrayed in the worst possible way, is her key to finding her way back. The one person who knows Olivia well enough to bring her back from the blackness. You really did feel their pain.
Their story is one you can't not read!
It is an addictive story that has you wanting to ignore everything else just to finish it in one sitting.

I received an ARC for a Honest Review.  I absolutely love  The Way Back to me .
I Love Olivia and Cameron story.  I like how Olivia was starting to realize that even though she is grieving over the lost of her friends  she needing to put her life back on track.
I love  how Cameron was there to help Olivia with the hard times. I felt a connection with Olivia and Cameron. I love how you could tell that Olivia and Cameron had this connection with each other but they both didn't want to admit it. I love That Olivia and Cameron finally told each other how they felt about eachother.  Once I started reading the way back to me i was hooked I couldn't put it down. I definitely recommend that everyone should read it.  Anne Mercier did an amazing job on Writing the Way back to me. I can't wait to read more from her.

I couldn't put this book down once I started it.

Olivia faces unimaginable tragedy in the beginning of the story, one that haunts her through the pages until almost the end, where we learn the full details of what happened the night that changed her life. Her character is so strong, stronger than she gives herself credit for, but she struggles as little more than a shell of her former self. It takes Cameron, her roommate's brother and Olivia's childhood bully, to bring her back to herself and make her really start living and feeling again.

I loved the two of them together, even when they were barely speaking to each other. This was a great story. I laughed. I cried. I enjoyed every page. It's rare that I read a book where I get so invested in the characters and their story.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a good read...Olivia has been through so much these past few months ...it was "heavy" where it needed to be and light when it called for it ...this book was a good balance of the two...Cameron was not so easy to like ...once he was enter acting with Olivia ...but that changed quickly ...he became everything you want in a leading man ...

~~"There's a fine line between love and hate and an even thinner one when it comes to desire."~~

I felt for Liv so much ...I can't imagine going through what she did ...but she gets back on her feet with the help of Cam and some new friends ...looking forward to what's gonna happen next ..Recommended Read!

I was really liking Olivia. It was just everything else that wasn't working. The storyline up to this point is just a whole bunch of different storylines from other books thrown into one book. The writing, in my opinion, was just mediocre. Maybe it got better after I stopped. Sadly, I'll never know. The bright spot was Olivia. I really did like her. Just not enough to carry on.

As this is my first book by Anne I really didn't know what to except, I loved the cover but blurb had me intrigued. The first few chapters were so emotionally charged i just knew this book was going to be a winner. It has angst a plenty and that ending had me begging for a few more chapters. Really glad I decided to read this awesome book !

If you thought the first edition was amazing. Well you are in for a treat and alot more angst.
Let me just tell ya this is my favorite series of Anne's due to the realness and that I can relate to some issues. But this book and characters will always be in my soul. They are embedded. Cant wait for more

This book is absolutely amazing!! Anne really knows how to make you laugh, make you cry and make you rage. This is a very emotional story and we'll worth the tears, laughter and anger. I wish I could give this more than 5 stars. I definitely recommend this book.

This is a heart wrenching young adult romance. It makes you feel so many emotions and has you gasping at Anne’s words. Perfectly woven in is drama, angst and steamy sex scenes. Can’t wait to pick up in the cliffhanger with book 2!
