I wasn’t prepared for Luca Segreto to hit me with that perfect blend of swagger, charm, and “absolutely not settling down ever”… only to fold like a lawn chair the moment Hadley Foster reappears in his orbit.
Luca is a 4–4.5 star, fast‑paced, chemistry‑heavy romantic suspense that gives you exactly what you want from a Viper Security man:
cocky confidence, emotional avoidance, and a complete inability to stay detached once the right woman shows up.
Luca has always been the “no strings, no roots, no thanks” type — the guy who wants the adrenaline, the danger, the international assignments, and none of the messy human feelings. He’s practically allergic to commitment.
And then there’s Hadley.
They met seven months ago. Briefly.
But she left a mark he’s been pretending not to think about.

I enjoyed reading the first book in the Viper Security series.
I loved the characters, plot and storyline,
